The clip cami's room from Insecticidal (2005)
You gonna tell me how the thesis meeting went?
Oh, the associate dean said it was brilliant work.
Proving that insects were once the dominant species...
is gonna give the school tons of funding and recognition.
Brilliant how you see right through my deception, Martin.
Actually, he said that my thesis...
was pure science fiction and he's gonna reject it.
He said, "Try switching your major...
"to creative writing or film."
In that case, I told you so.
You tell those suits something like that,
and you can bet you'll have the scientists on your case...
and the creationists.
You should stick with something safe.
Yeah, sit here reinventing the wheel.
What were you thinking?
I told you, leave them alone.
I just wanted to see what it felt like.
You handle them.
Well, maybe after we find it...
we can go hang out at the...
They're venomous, Martin, OK?
And they come from a genetic engineering lab...
not a pet store.
And this is not the time to be hitting on me.
Well, chill out and let's find it.
It's not a big deal.
This is not the first time one of them has gotten loose, OK?
I can't deal with this.
I have too much to deal with with the girls in this house.
And we have to find it.
I have given you lots of warning...
about these disgusting pets of yours.
The clip Alex leaves the front office from Paranoid Park (2007)
You do that?
So, can I go back to class?
Yeah, you can. Thanks. Appreciate it.
I'm writing this a little out of order.
Sorry, I didn't do so well in Creative Writing.
But... I'll get it all on paper, eventually.
The 3rd single off the Music Is My Weapon project. Miss America addresses the harsh realities of the past and present actions and policies of the United States. The video depicts how we must all accept some blame for the injustices in society and play our part in correcting them. If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. The concept behind Hasan Salaam's EP "Music Is My Weapon" is the belief that music can be used as a powerful tool in the pursuit of freedom, justice, and equality. With the release of the project, Hasan is aiming to prove that music can change people's lives, literally. All profits from the sale of the EP will be used to fund a school, clean water well, and medical clinic in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa. The school has already been completed, and construction of the well is underway. In November 2010, Hasan became the first U.S hip hop artist to ever perform in Bissau. On the same trip he worked with the young artists, taught creative writing to the youth, and headlined a concert to promote freedom of speech. The "Music Is My Weapon" project is the next step, in an effort to provide change to a country that remains one of the poorest and least politically stable in the world.

This short story was written by Mahesh in the Summer of 2005, when he was 13. He took a high school creative writing class offered by Northwestern University, Chicago, over the Internet. The assignment was to create a short story using the style of a writer he liked - he chose Rudyard Kipling. This story was published in the Fall 2005 issue of 'The Writers Slate,' a children's literary magazine. Another story he wrote for that course was published in a book entitled Moe's Cafe.
My good friends, Phani Tetali, a talented cartoonist, and Steve Hanulec, a young man of many talents, brought this story to life. Thanks, guys!

About Four Stories
Intel and W Hotels created Four Stories to identify and support rising visionaries in filmmaking, and provide them with a platform to share their talent with audiences around the world.
Four winning scripts, inspired by iconic W Hotels destinations and the mobility of the Intel-inspired Ultrabook™, were chosen from nearly 1000 submissions from aspiring filmmakers worldwide. They were selected by a panel of entertainment industry insiders and filmmakers, and developed into short films.
Roman Coppola and his production company, The Directors Bureau, matched the four scripts with some of today's most talented young directors and actors to bring each winner's vision to life.
The resulting four films, plus an original short by Coppola himself, were shot at some of W Hotels' most exotic and cutting-edge locations — from the Maldives and Hollywood to Doha, Washington D.C. and Mexico City — and feature the Ultrabook as a central character.
Four Stories is part of The Ultrabook Experience: a series of collaborations between Intel and innovative companies worldwide, enabled by the Ultrabook — a new category of computing devices powered by Intel.
