TYRONE RELPH July 2004 Tyrone Left his record labels Studio in Belfast to record his new album on a portable recording desk in a small 1 room studio Built behind his house, there were no producers, managers or engineers involved in the creative process. Tyrone said "I've worked in some of the biggest and best studios but there has always been a producer or manager trying to make me sound radio friendly or attractive to a certain demographic. Never have I had the feeling of total artistic freedom till now. The songs on this record are everything to me, its my soul on a plastic disc. I allowed noone other than myself and my band into the sessions. It was so relaxed, maybe sometimes too relaxed. We would all sit in my studio(Bunker Studios) doing what musicians do and when the mood was exactly right then we would record the Tyrones new album is so different than anything he has ever done before he almost changed the name he performs and released records under. " We all sat round talking after recording wrapped and we were worried about reconciling the leap from our last record and even considered going out under a band name, but its not about image - its about being honest in your songs and hopefully people will feel it with me." Having split with his record label in November 2004 Tyrone will be releasing the record on his own label - Bunker Influence records (B.I Records) - The split was apparently due to the fact that The new record was a lot darker, heavier and containing numerous expletives. Tyrone said " I didn't set out to write a dark album with cursing all over it - its just the way it came out of me, its an angry record and I was not willing to water it down for any commercial reason" Tyrone will be doing his second nationwide tour on this abum including both solo acoustic shows and shows with his full band. " Its the touring that really gives something back to the people who bought and love the record. We have always been keen on playing live from probably one of my first big shows in Manchesters "In the City" festival in 1998 with such great bands as Happy Mondays and Coldplay till last years tour which we were lucky enough to play support to some of Irelands greatest like Hot House Flowers, The Frank and Walters and Ex Thin Lizzy Member Eric Bell. But more recently sharing the bill on Dublins prestigious Ruby Sessions stage with new Atlantic records Signing James Blunt. An Electric Live performer - Big Buzz Magazine A Louder David Grays' "White ladder" Given the melodic Beauty Of Damien Rices "O" - The Evening Echo "You will live the heartache with him" - In the city Fanzine Manchester The Album Entitled "the reasons we bleed" will be released on B.I records (Bunker influence records)Ireland in Feb/05 *******www.myspace****/tyronerelph

BY MALLORY PERRYMAN Transcript by Newsy**** You're watching multisource politics video news analysis from Newsy. Tired of hearing about tax cuts? Apparently your Sunday talk show hosts aren’t. For the fourth week in a row, the tax debate dominated the conversation. But hey- it’s the hottest topic to hit the lame duck since the 2008 bailout debate. Perhaps next week we can move on- Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin says, the deal is basically done. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.): “We’re counting votes in the Senate. Harry Reid and I have been on the phone over the weekend. And I can say that we have a good cross section of the Senate Democratic caucus from left to right who are prepared to accept this.” Senior White House advisor David Axelrod says, Democrats got to add a few things to sweeten the deal- but ultimately, the Republicans are getting what they want. David Axelrod (White House Senior Advisor): “We have a framework, we have an agreement, and I don't anticipate that it's going to change greatly. There have been some changes that folks in the House were concerned about...But in the main, I don't see major changes." But major changes are exactly what an infuriated liberal base wants. Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) "We passed the resolution in our caucus the other day saying that we would not permit this deal to come to the floor without some changes. How major those changes would have to be for members of our caucus to let it come to the floor, I don't know. I'd certainly hope that there are very major changes in this." (CBS) Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD.): "I think it's quite possible the tax cut extension will be passed, but not with my vote.” (CNN) But others say, the president did what he had to do. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg tells NBC’s David Gregory, the commander-in-chief needs to stand up for himself. Michael Bloomberg (New York Mayor): “He says ‘Look, this is what I did. This is the best I can do. Suck it up, and let’s get on together. We have a lot of other things we can do together…I’m sure the President would have liked other things but the real world of governing is to do what is possible and everybody getting something and nobody getting 100% of what they want.” And later on Meet the Press, panelist Savannah Guthrie pointed out, if the economy improves, the president could get the tax deal he ultimately wants in 2012. Savannah Guthrie: “The point is, he’s staring at the barrel of a gun. These tax rates are going up in January and he’s not going to take that gamble and that’s why he made this deal...You heard Austan Goolsbee basically make the argument that we think the economy will be in a better position. They are banking everything on that because they think they’ll be able to say, ‘Look, now we can afford to see those tax rates rise on the wealthiest Americans.’” But on CNN’s State of the Union, Representative Jim McDermott says- there is another way to solve the tax puzzle- let Republicans deal with it. Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wa.): "They put it in in 2001 all by themselves. They can put it in all by themselves on the fifth of January. There will be no tax increase to the American people, middle class or anyone else. They simply want us to do it so that it becomes Obama’s tax cuts.” Finally, we’ll wrap up this Sunday’s analysis with our running count of who’s considering a 2012 Presidential run. This Sunday, you can count New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg- out. MICHAEL BLOOMBERG (New York Mayor): “I’m not going to run for President. I’ve got a great job. I’m going to finish out the 1100 or whatever number of days it is left to go and I’ll leave the politics to the experts.” (NBC) Check out a few reports we picked out that weigh in on the tax debate: The Washington Post “Tax cut strategies: the untold story” Chicago Tribune “Why the left is right to be cross with Obama” U.S. News & World Report “Democrats' Tax Rebellion Shows They Don't Live in the Real World” Forbes “Is the tax compromise better for the middle class or the rich?” Get more multisource political video news from Newsy.

David Blaine Street Magic 2013 David Blaine (born David Blaine White; April 4, 1973) is an American illusionist and endurance artist. He is best known for his high-profile feats of endurance, and has made his name as a performer of street and close-up magic.[1] He has set and broken several world records. Street Magic and Magic Man[edit] On May 19, 1997, Blaine's first television special, David Blaine: Street Magic aired on then NBC. According to the New York Daily News: "Blaine can lay claim to his own brand of wizardry. The magic he offers in tonight's show operates on an uncommonly personal level."[8] When asked about his performance style, David explained, "I'd like to bring magic back to the place it used to be 100 years ago."'[9] Time magazine commented, "his deceptively low-key, ultracool manner leaves spectators more amazed than if he'd razzle-dazzled."[10] The concept of focusing on spectator reactions changed the way that magic has been shown on television. The New York Times wrote: "He's taken a craft that's been around for hundreds of years and done something unique and fresh with it."[9] Penn Jillette of Penn & Teller stated: "The biggest breakthrough done in our lifetime was David Blaine's Street Magic, where his idea was to do really simple tricks but to concentrate... to turn the camera around on the people watching instead of the people doing. So to make the audience watch the audience, which that first special Street Magic, is the best TV magic special ever done and really, really does break new ground." Many people watched the show.[11] In Magic Man, Blaine is shown traveling across the country, entertaining unsuspecting pedestrians in Atlantic City, Compton, Dallas, the Mojave Desert, New York City, and San Francisco, recorded by a small crew with handheld cameras. Jon Racherbaumer commented: "Make no mistake about it, the focus of this show, boys and girls, is not Blaine. It is really about theatrical proxemics; about the show-within-a-show and the spontaneous, visceral reactions of people being astonished."[12] USA Today called Blaine the "hottest name in magic right now".
