A cricket video for Cricket World TV about the latest cricket news from http://www.cricketworld.com. Find us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/cricketworld and Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/cricket_world as we discuss the news of Kevin Pietersen retiring from international limited overs cricket. Pietersen has decided to focus solely on Test cricket, bringing an end to a career in which he blasted more than 4,000 runs in ODI cricket and 1,000 runs in T20I cricket and helped England to victory in the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 World Cup competition. Pietersen had recently featured in the IPL for the Delhi Daredevils, hitting a wonderful 103 against Deccan Chargers and previous to that, helped England to a Test victory in Sri Lanka where he was warned for using the switch hit against Tillakaratne Dilshan. He was one of the first players to use the shot in international cricket and one of the few to switch hit in Test cricket, often using it to hit for six and four. He made his international debut in 2004 against Zimbabwe, played 18 matches before his average dropped below 100 and then played a key role in England's ICC WT20 win in 2010, also featuring in the 2007 and 2011 World Cup, where he opened the batting alongside Andrew Strauss - another player who now only features in Test cricket for England. Ahmednagar (Marathi: अहमदनगर, Urdu: احمد نگر) is a city of Ahmednagar District in the state of Maharashtra, India, on the west bank of the Sina river, about 120 km northeast of Pune and 120 km from Aurangabad. The town was founded in 1494 by Ahmad Nizam Shah on the site of a more ancient city, Bhingar. With the breakup of the Bahmani Sultanate, Ahmad established a new sultanate in Ahmednagar, also known as Nizam Shahi dynasty. It was one of the Deccan sultanates, which lasted until its conquest by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1636. Aurangzeb, the last great Mughal emperor, who spent the latter years of his reign, 1681-1707, in the Deccan, died at Khuldabad near Aurangabad in 1707, and a small monument marks the site. In 1759 the Peshwa of the Marathas obtained possession of the place and in 1790 it was ceded by the Peshwa to the Maratha chief Daulat Rao Sindhia. Ahmednagar was invaded by a British force under General Wellesley and captured. It was afterwards restored to the Marathas, but again came into the possession of the British in 1817, according to the terms of the Treaty of Poona. Numerous Mughal-era buildings dot the environs. Ahmednagar Fort, once considered the second most unimpregnable fort in India, was used by the British to house Jawaharlal Nehru (the first prime minister of India) and other Indian Nationalists before Indian independence. A few rooms there have been converted to a museum. During his confinement by the British at Ahmednagar Fort Nehru, he wrote the famous book The Discovery of India. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ahmednagar

Deccan Chargers were unfortunately the wooden spooners of last season. VVS had let go his icon status, Gilly took over captaincy, nothing worked. There was even chatter the team could be sold off! Thankfully nothing like that happened. Fidel "Castro" Edwards and Dwayne Smith came in to electrify the bowling and middle order. RP Singh loves South Africa. Gibbs found his vauntaed form - Darren Lehmann took over as coach - and watch DC go in 2009! They are breaking through the gravity barrier and leading the race!
