Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Disney's Aladdin for the Super Nintendo by Capcom. One of the many games based on Disney's original animated film, the Super Nintendo version puts you in control of a very acrobatic Aladdin with some gameplay elements similar to Prince of Persia and Donkey Kong Country. In your journey from street rat to prince you and Abu will bounce and flip your way through the many exciting scenes from the movie on your quest to rescue Jasmine from the evil Jafar. Of course the Genie will do his best to help you out, and you'll need it in this surprisingly challenging side scrolling platform game. This review features Disney's Aladdin gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Disney's Aladdin for the Sega Genesis by Virgin Interactive. One of many games based on the animated film, the Genesis version stands out with graphics and cel animation that looks straight out of the cartoon, and plenty of quality of side scrolling platform action to complement it. With the "help" of Abu and the Genie, you can control your favorite acrobatic scimitar swinging street rat in a glorious 16-bit quest to rescue Princess Jasmine from Jafar. This review features Disney's Aladdin gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.

Year Video Recorded: 2011 Song Name: Do For Love Song Artist: 2Pac Song Album [Compact Disc Album]: The Source Hip-Hop Hits Volume 2 Stepmania Version: 3.9beta What Is It Time For: a "Dance! Dance! Revolution!! ^_^ Did For Love =) ********** Indeed, the very first time I had heard this song was on a radio station in my local Hometown of Albany, Georgia, by the name of 96.3 WJIZ and partly because of this track -- the 1990's will likely remain a great part of my memory. =) The bass; the singing; the rapping and even the story which is being told has to this day remained a portion of my memories that I do indeed cherish. The "somber sound" mixed with an uptempo feel is far from a ballad--but at the same time isn't quite a dance song. Dots and bits of the images in the animated music video [which still to this day has me thinking Walt Disney's Aladdin meets an early version of Boondocks! O.O] also remain as part of my fondest memories one year in the 90's. I only saw the very end and to this day have only seen that one bit once in my entire life [yes--even today] yet the somber-feel of the video has stuck with me since adolescence. "Do For Love" as performed by TuPac Shakur -- stage-name 2Pac -- is one of a select handful of Hip-Hop/Rap stepcharts I have ever created and shared. This specific song is (surprisingly) without profanity which adds to the smooth feel of the song and gives an almost, "Story Told" feel to the bass-driven track. The song I once only heard on the radio every-now-and-then came into my personal collection of music quite by the decision of the story of my life. The purchase of a various artists album by the name of "The Source Presents Hip-Hop Hits Vol. 2" came into my 14-year-old hands. The album covered music I had heard before--and not heard before--on the radio. This album eventually lead me to the personal discovery of an urban-focused music magazine named "The Source" which Ieventually began reading while waiting for my mother to complete her [often HUGE! O.O] shopping runs at The Marine Corps Logistic Base Exchange and Commissary in y hometown while we were growing up [there and Wal-Mart =3]. Shopping trips swiftly became a time looked forward to in order to read "The Source" music magazine music reviews of albums from witty journalists all the while subconsciously learning [and enjoying!] the flavorful use of the written word. ^_^ Five years later--this stepchart was born from that super album. =) Step For Love ^_^ ********** To be honest, this is one stepchart that after completing I honestly felt should have been a stepchart in the mainstream Dance Dance Revolution games as an Oni-Only level! The song and feel of the tracks just screams "Dance Dance Revolution!" and later Janet Jackson's "Doesn't Really Matter" in DDR Supernova proved [going-on almost a decade later] that I wasn't the only one thinking that a cool Hip-Hop/R&B track in the dance-heavy DDR songlist would be a well welcome. ^_^ This stepchart however, has my pride as a stepchart shaper throughout it. For one--although Bemanistyle at the time was full of J-Pop, anime themes, dance songs, techno tracks, hard-rock and light country--during the 90's as Hip-Hop and Rap music was becoming popular throughout the world. Although there was proof of this worldwide grip which began to reflect at the time from Korea to Germany to Japan back to the continent of Asia, down to Africa, across to Australia, and back-over-to North, Central and South America! There were many users at the time at Bemanistyle.com [some mods] who had this heinous outlook towards hip-hop and rap music... although Linkin Park and Marilyn Manson was more than welcome as were a great deal of vulgar rock artists... but not hip-hop. Many tracks that were created in the genre of Rap or Hip-Hop were either rated low on the 1 out of 10 scale due to spite and agitation--or--trash-talked in the Bemanistyle forums with focus on the stepchart artist and her or his "poor taste in music" and "horrible hip-hop simfiles." Having created stepcharts in a great deal of genres at the time--over a year in sharing making and stepcharts-I did not want to be viewed as "Shallow" or "Cliche" by selecting to do a hip-hop track. However... this song called ot me and a stepchart was created. The ratings were mixed but the reviews were mostly very positive [surprisingly! o.o] and from this experience the motivation to focus on what to "Do For Love of Music" [period--regardless of genre] became part of my repertoire on Bemanistyle.com and more often than not--I would become known as "The Stepfile Artist who makes charts in almost every genre of music!" which is a proverbial crown which I do wear with pride! =) Enjoy! or Don't... But thank you for taking the time to read and play/view/experience my stepchart for "Do For Love!" =D Forever In Love With All That Which Exists (That Which Is Seen & Unseen, Known & Unknown), -DJ, Writer, Artist, Musician, Eternal Student & Being of Existence, -WAM! Here's another questionable clip from the Disney movie "Aladdin", in which it seems that the Genie is saying "Good teenagers take off their clothes". It's supposed to say "Good kitty, take off and go", but I just don't hear that. You decide.

Full choreography of "Prince Ali" by the cast of Disney's Aladdin (sung by Craig Toungate, cover of Robin Williams' original version) in Just Dance 2014, the successor of Ubisoft's Just Dance 4 game. Mode: CLASSIC | Dance Crew (4 player) | Difficulty: Medium HD link for sharing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6nFNSlFqWw&hd=1 ※ Video for gameplay showing purposes only, did not dance during the recording. I like it when there is just the dancer and the pictograms so that I can focus on the choreography and learn it; if you wish to watch videos of me actually playing, please go to my channel page. ※ Wii U version footage. My Nintendo Network ID is mindscarp and my nickname in JD2014 is BOWSERB.
