The clip making of the trailer Part 8 from My Date with Drew (2004) with George DelHoyo So... Okay. John August. What about him? Okay. Okay. Look at him. Look at him smiling. Okay. That's a money smile. What the hell is he saying? John August said yes. John August said yes. Does anyone have anything to take down a phone number? I can remember it. I'll remember the first three, you remember the last four. We'll have it on tape. Good point. This was huge. I got a meeting with John August, the writer of "Charlie's Angels"! Congratulations on all your success. Thank you very much. Okay, so I know Jon. Jon knows Kerry. Kerry knows Allison. Allison is dating Dana. Dana knows John August. And John August knows Drew. You officially, now, in this documentary are the one who knows Drew best. All right. Out of all the characters she's done, Mm-hmm. which character do you think she's most like in reality? I think she's sort of a cross between Dylan in "Charlie's Angels," and the character she plays in "Never Been Kissed. " I think she definitely has the dorky, geeky aspects inside her, but she also has that sort of tough, ball-kicking chick that Dylan is. She loves music. She's dated musicians. I know. She's dating this guy. How serious are they? I don't know. I've not talked to her about that at all. The premiere. You're going? I'm going to go. Yeah. You're the man. Is it at Mann's Chinese Theater? It is. I don't know what time it is, actually. I haven't gotten tickets yet. It's probably 7:00 or 8:00. There'll be a zillion people there. You want to take me to the afterparty? Sorry, I can't. I don't even know where it is. I haven't got my stuff- Oh really? I think last time it was at- The Hollywood Athletic Club. Think there's a chance it'll be there again? A very good chance. How do you think I should approach the whole situation in terms of trying to get her to say "Sure, I'll go hang out with you two hours"? Drew, more than anything, wants to have a good time and have people who are around her who are positive and sort of excited about life and the challenges and the opportunities which it brings,
