My first tutorial ever!
The Whip Cut is a clever way of joining shots together without the audience realizing there's been a cut. This means that you can shoot one actor in one place and another actor in a completely different place and join the two shots together.
Difficulty: 1 out of 5
Editing Requirements: Crossfade
Text Tutorial:
--Start at one place and rapidly move the camera 180 degrees either to the left or right.
--Go to the second place and rapidly move the camera 180 degrees in the same direction, ending up on the desired spot.
--Cut the two clips in the middle of the "whip cut" and apply a crossfade between them.

This tutorial shows you how to "pass through a wall".. A really neat editing trick.
Difficulty: 3 out of 5
(It's easy to do, but Tough to make it look good.)
Editing Requirements: Crossfade, (keyframing in some cases)
Text Tutorial:
--Start at one location and move the camera up to the wall as smooth as possible.
--Film various objects that may look like the inside of a wall (brick, pavement, etc.)
--Film in the second location (anywhere) and move the camera at the same speed as when you first went into the wall.
--Take your brick, pavement, etc clips and keyframe it so that it looks like you are moving toward it.
--Take all your clips and apply crossfades between all of them, letting your brick/pavement clip play for only about 1 second each.

The wall cut is a very cool transition where it looks as if the scene appears on the other side of the wall.
I'll show you how!
Difficulty: 2 out of 5
Editing Requirements: Linear Wipe Transiton
Thanks for watching!
Text Tutorial (in case you weren't paying attention...)
--Dolly the camera sideways across the room up to a door frame or wall (any edge to use as a transition point)
--Keep moving until the wall is 100% out of the shot.
--Go to another place and dolly the camera the same direction and speed as before.
--Combine the two clips by having the second clip enter parallel to the wall with a linear wipe transition.

A really neat trick that makes it appear that the someone takes a picture of the video, then the picture appears in a picture frame.
In order to do this, you need to know how to keyframe. If you don't, follow the link below and view his keyframing tutorial.
A few other ways to do this:
--Photoshop the snapshot already into the picture frame, then keyframe it to zoom out.
--Actually dolly the camera away from the picture frame (this way is really hard, it only works if you have an actual camera dolly and the movement is 100% smooth)
