The animation and music were together in the original concept. I recorded the music when I was running a 102 degree fever and had awoken from a dream where things were flying out of my hands and floating up into the sky.
I recorded the music using Reaper shareware, an acoustic guitar (odd that I used an electric in the video?), some (cymbal, thunder, church bell, birds, etc.) samples. Reverb and delay are your friends!
The background clips were downloaded from sources such as archive**** and nasa.gov and are in the public domain.
the animation was done using the Adam2 figure, a "blastercaster" model and a bell that I modeled myself (using Anim8or). I used Daz Studio for the animation. I tried my best to form the chords in his hands as I played them.
I know it may be a little boring to some who want some more action, but I wanted to capture the imagery I had in my head. This took a couple weeks to complete.

The Greater Circulation - A film by film by Antero Alli; one of the best independent film makers of all time.
Parallel timelines collide when a small theatre troupe in present day Berkeley
prepares to stage Rilke's lyrical lament "Requiem For a Friend", while simultaneously the poet is writing his "Requiem" a hundred years earlier in a Paris hotel room. Past and future intersect when images of the staged performance infiltrate the fevered dreams of the transported poet.
"Rainer Maria Rilke’s 'Requiem for a Friend' is the foundation for this marvelous drama from underground film legend Antero Alli. The film bifurcates between the tensions surrounding the theatrical staging of Rilke’s work and flashbacks to the pain and suffering which Rilke experienced when creating his classic poem. Not unlike the best of Alli’s films, this production is a marvel of mature emotion and deep wisdom; few films have been able to explore the issues surrounding death with such grace and intelligence."

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX for Game Boy Color developed and published by Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX adds color to the already absurdist fever dream that served as Link's first outing on a portable system. (Well, aside from a Legend of Zelda Game & Watch, but that one doesn't count.) With the addition of a color-centric new dungeon and a mouse with a camera, the experience is updated, freshened, and now available for the 3DS Virtual Console. Just don't trust any goats who insist that they're Princess Peach. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX for Game Boy Color and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
Holy Motors Trailer. Starring Kylie Minogue, Eva Mendes, Denis Lavant and Edith Scob. "Wholly mysterious and impossibly lovely. This mad hatter's monsterpiece may be the best film of the year" (Aaron Hillis - Village Voice).
Directed by Leos Carax, Holy Motors opens October 17th, 2012. Over the course of a single day, Monsieur Oscar travels by limousine around Paris to a series of nine "appointments," transforming into new characters or incarnations at each stop. Fetched in the morning by Celine, his trusty chauffeur on this surreal journey, Oscar begins the day as a captain of industry. Then he becomes a gypsy crone, begging for spare change on a bridge over the Seine. Inside a digital production facility, he's a ninja warrior transformed by cutting edge technology into a reptilian sex god. Next he's a gibberish-spewing troglodyte who kidnaps a fashion model from a photo shoot in Pere-Lachaise cemetery, ferrying her to his underground lair in the sewers. Then he's the melancholy father of a teenage daughter, followed by a shadowy assassin sent to kill his own doppelgaenger, a dying old man, and finally a thwarted lover revisiting a flame from his past atop a decaying Right Bank department store next to the Pont-Neuf. Monster movie, film noir, romantic drama, musical, crime thriller, futuristic sex fantasia... HOLY MOTORS is all of these and, then again, none of these. It is a ravishing, shape-shifting, fever dream of becoming, unraveling and starting all over again. From celluloid magic to the digital data stream, Monsieur Oscar's epic journey of the soul is all of our dreams.
