First time parents are so sweet. The way they think that no one has ever had a baby before, or that their baby is the cutest in the world, or that the child's needs come before everything and everyone else in the universe. Actually they're annoying. Distributed by Tubemogul.

Ave Maria! Returning to St. Paul, Fr. Maximilian Mary begins to look at God's eternal purpose as revealed in Romans 8:29. In this episode he establishes that God's eternal designs were that we be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ so that He might be the firstborn of many brethren. Yet another scriptural confirmation of Bl. John Duns Scotus and the Franciscan thesis on the Incarnation. Ave Maria!

Ave Maria! According to the Franciscan thesis, Saints and Angels alike were predestined to grace and glory in Christ. For it has pleased God the Father that in Him all His fullness should dwell, and that He should lead all things to unity [apokatallaxai] in Christ, whether on the earth or in the heavens... (Col 1:19-20). The Angels are under the headship of Christ and receive grace and glory through His mediation as the firstborn of every creature (Col. 1:15). Interestingly, the Franciscan position on the test of the angelic spirits is this: they were shown the mystery of Christ, namely, that God in the Person of the Word would assume a created nature lower than theirs and that they would have to serve the Human Nature of Christ their King and God. The bad angels, the demons, said with Satan: non serviam (I will not serve). Whereas St. Michael and the good Angels declared, Who is like unto God?. Watch and learn more about the test of the Angels. Ave Maria!

(Luke 2:1-20) At that time the Emperor Augustus ordered a census of the Roman Empire. This was the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria. All the people went to register in the cities where their ancestors had lived. So Joseph went from Nazareth, a city in Galilee, to a Judean city called Bethlehem. Joseph, a descendant of King David, went to Bethlehem because David had been born there. Joseph went there to register with Mary. She had been promised to him in marriage and was pregnant. While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for Mary to have her child. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger because there wasn't any room for them in the inn. Shepherds were in the fields near Bethlehem. They were taking turns watching their flock during the night. An angel from the Lord suddenly appeared to them. The glory of the Lord filled the area with light, and they were terrified. The angel said to them, "Don't be afraid! I have good news for you, a message that will fill everyone with joy. Today your Savior, Christ the Lord, was born in David's city. This is how you will recognize him: You will find an infant wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a manger." Suddenly, a large army of angels appeared with the angel. They were praising God by saying, "Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those who have his good will!" The angels left them and went back to heaven. The shepherds said to each other, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see what the Lord has told us about." They went quickly and found Mary and Joseph with the baby, who was lying in a manger. When they saw the child, they repeated what they had been told about him. Everyone who heard the shepherds' story was amazed. Mary treasured all these things in her heart and always thought about them. As the shepherds returned to their flock, they glorified and praised God for everything they had seen and heard. Everything happened the way the angel had told them.

Known originally as the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin, the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord is a relatively ancient celebration. We know that the Church at Jerusalem was observing the feast as early as the first half of the fourth century, and likely earlier. According to Jewish law, the firstborn male child belonged to God, and the parents had to buy him back on the 40th day after his birth, by offering a sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons (Luke 2:24) in the temple (thus the presentation of the child). On that same day, the mother would be ritually purified (thus the purification). St. Mary and St. Joseph kept this law, even though, since St. Mary remained a virgin after the birth of Christ, she would not have had to go through ritual purification.    -catholicism.about**** Ave Maria!

HP is equipping environmentalist and adventurer David de Rothschild with the technology needed to sail 10,000 miles across the Pacific on a boat made entirely of plastic bottles. (disclosure: HP is a paying sponsor of AlwaysOn)The Pacific Ocean is home to the worlds biggest trash dump, and a large portion of that is plastic. In an attempt to raise awareness of the oceanic mess, David de Rothschild, founder of Adventure Ecology, is readying a sea voyage from San Francisco to Sydney, Australia, aboard the Plastiki, a boat made entirely of plastic bottles. Rothschild says discoveries like that of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch inspired the expedition.I was like, hang on a second. This cant be true, he said in a recent interview. Why doesnt everybody know about this? Why dont we know about the fact that our oceans are basically filling up with trash?By turning the symbol of waste into an adventure, Rothschild hopes to inspire young people to develop smart solutions to environmental problems. Plastiki, built from 13,000 recycled softdrink bottles, is intended to showcase how innovative technology can be used to turn waste into a resource. The technology needed to complete the voyage is coming, appropriately, from Silicon Valleys firstborn, HP*. The tech bellweather will equip the Plastiki crew with the material to capture and share data gathered on the voyage. HP materials include notebooks with magnesium-alloy casing and battery-efficient designs, HP smartphones, and media drives from which pictures and videos of the expedition will be uploaded to the Plastiki website.HP is also helping to build Plastiki Mission Control, an interactive activity and educational center located at Pier 45 in San Francisco, CA. The center will feature 10 interactive, energy-efficient HP TouchSmart IQ816 PCs to display blueprints and sketches, expedition equipment, maps, and films explaining the technology behind the Plastiki Expedition.Satjiv Chahil, senior vice president of global marketing at HP, told AlwaysOn that the company seeks to go beyond defensive measures when it comes to environmental sustainability. We want to help drive a bigger change, so we are looking at ways to provide technology to entrepreneurs and innovators who will help make it a greener, better world for everybody.David de Rothschild sought out HP as a logical partner for the project. I didnt partner with HP just because I want to put their logo on the screen. He said at AlwaysOns GoingGreen East conference. I partner with companies that are committed to moving towards a Planet 2.0 way of being.... My evolution has come through working and understanding corporate structure, understanding brand power, understanding how as individuals, we cant do anything alone, and we need the influence of government, business, and the consumer."*HP is a paying sponsor of AlwaysOn

Hey hey hey this is Blake the Elite Fitness Trainer!! Here is a sermon on breaking through from the trials in your life. 2 Timothy: 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith! Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award me on that day- not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing! I absolutely love this passage, it amazes me!! To know that if I fight the fight, if I run the race, and if I keep the faith, that I will receive the crown of righteousness. It just makes me want to fight this fight even more!1 So what does it mean to persevere?? To persevere, means to overcome, to overcome means that you have broken through that wall that was keeping you from knowing the truth! Hooah?? Our enemy Satan will be the persecutor in our lives, no one else can compare to Satan. No one is as evil. He uses everything He has to keep us from knowing the truth, the Love of Jesus. He wants to keep us from this, so that we can’t breakthrough from our trials in life. But if, we have a relationship with Jesus, then we have a huge advantage in this fight!! Romans 8:28-39 And we know in all things God works for the good of those who Love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that he might be the firstborn of many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called, those He called, He also justified, those He justified, He also glorified. What, then, shall we say in response to this!? If God is for us, who can be against us?? He who did not spare His own son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those God has chosen?? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns?? Christ Jesus, who died- more than that, who was raised to life- is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble, or hardship, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or sword?? As It is written: “For your sake we face death all day long: we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered!” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height not depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!! We have to really understand that if Jesus is with us, nothing can separate us from His love!! Hooahh?? Hooahh!! Here is something to really keep in mind: God honors those that persevere!!! My brothers and sisters, you must keep this in mind also, trials will come at all times, at unknown hours. They will bring old memories, memories that Satan knows has hurt you, he will bring your past back, he will put pressure on you, he will open up opportunities that seem great, but in the end they will lead you from God. Now you may be suffering from an addiction, or cutting, or lust, or even just life trials; meaning family issues, relationship problems, school issues. These are trials that you will suffer from, that really hurt you, to the point where you lose hope in everything around you. How do I know? I have lost hope and interest in many things in my own life. I have seen the worst of the worst. I have seen people rise up, only to fall, before I have just sit and let the world go round, while being very depressed. But then one day I decided that I couldn’t take it no more. I had to fight back, I had to BREAKTHROUGH!!! It got to the point where I wouldn’t get out of bed. I would wake up, and just walk around like I wasn’t even living. Don’t let it get that far. You don’t want it to get so far, to the point where you doubt that you can even have a breakthrough in your life!! We are going to fight, persevere, and secure our victory in Christ, and over Satan!! Hooahh!!!!!!!!! Will this fight be easy?? No!!! The fight is never easy, it is never a one day battle, or a overnight battle. No, it is a long war that we fight. But according to the Word of our Almighty God, we are more than conquerors!! Hooahh? Hooahh!!! We can breakthrough anything with the Love of Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No one else can give us a total victory over Satan!!! Not your parents, not your pastor, not even your boyfriend/girlfriend. But your Lord Jesus Christ!!! If you don’t believe me, answer these questions: 1)Did your bf/gf, parents, pastor fight Satan at his most powerful?? 2) Did your bf/gf, parents, or pastor overcome, and conquer death?? 3) Are your bf/gf, parents, or pastors the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords?? 4) Do demons fear your bf/gf, parents, or pastors name??!! If you answered yes to all those questions, you must be being lead far from God, because you are lost. Jesus is the only that will help you have a Complete victory over Satan!!! Now how do you have a breakthrough in your life?? How do you breakthrough that addictions, the trials, the painful sufferings?? Give it all to Jesus, pray, read the word of God. Resist all temptation that comes your way. Here is something that I just love reading!! Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Now for those of you who are having trouble fitting in to society. Don’t waste your time. Don’t bother. If you are a follower of Jesus, and you are trying to fit in to society, you are wasting your time. Jesus said that the world will hate us, and persecute us, but to remember that the world hated Him first. Now our purpose in society is to go and spread the gospel, baptizing disciples of all nations. We are to make an example of who Jesus is. Remember it is never was, but who He is. So what are our problems in society?? Our problems are that we have to buy expensive jewelry, and cars, and have muscles to be part of society. This at times will cost us, not just 1000’s of $’s but our lives. We can’t become part of society and we have persevere the mockery that we receive on a daily basis. The comments that insult our spiritual life. That makes our spiritual life and journey look like a mockery and embarrassment to everyone. How do we persevere this?? God’s word has an answer for even this!! Hooahh!!! Jesus was sending out His apostles and many others into the towns. He said that if they entered a town, and the town did not welcome them, or didn’t listen to their words, then to “Shake the Dust off their feet” upon leaving that town! What Jesus is saying is so simple, yet sooo powerful!!! When facing opposition shake the dust off!! And continue with what God has called you to accomplish!! Can I get a Hooahh???? No matter what opposition you face, whether it be addictions, family issues, cutting, persecution, you have to take a stand and just say “I will not sit and let this happen any longer!!! I will fight back!!! This is when you will shake the dust off and you will start to make your way back to knowing the true Love of God!!! When we know that we have strength in Jesus, this is when the fight takes a huge turn! We now have the advantage! Jesus fought Satan and won! To persevere, is to breakthrough. To breakthrough means that you know that Jesus will come and rescue you!! And He will fight that battle with and for you!!! And you will have that breakthrough!!! This is yours truly Blake the Elite Fitness Trainer!!

What Is Salvation? God knew that humanity would sin and need to be reconciled to Him. At the heart of God's plan to reconcile sinful humanity to Himself is the Mediator, Jesus Christ (see 1 Timothy 2:5–6). The word salvation is defined as "deliverance from the power and effects of sin." All have sinned (Romans 3:23), but we cannot save ourselves, because only a sinless person can save a sinful person. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ died for sinners (see 1 Timothy 1:15; Romans 5:6–8). Provisions of Salvation Certain provisions were necessary for salvation to be available to humanity: the death of Jesus Christ; the burial of Christ; the resurrection of Christ (see 1 Corinthians 15:3–4); the ascension of Christ (see Mark 16:19; Acts 1:9); and the exaltation of Christ (see Acts 2:33; 5:31; 1 Peter 3:22; Hebrews 1:3). Process of Salvation: God's side Through the divine side of salvation, God sovereignly acts to secure salvation for sinners through: Election: Through grace, God chose salvation in Christ for those whom He knew would accept Him (see Ephesians 1:4–5). The Apostle Paul tells us, "For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters" (Romans 8:29 NLT). Regeneration: God makes us alive through Christ, enabling us to be born again, and to experience a new birth (see John 3:3). Without a new birth, we are "dead in trespasses and sins" (Ephesians 2:1). Justification: When God justifies us, He declares us guiltless before Him and places all of the righteousness of Christ to our credit. Justification represents both God's forgiveness of our sins and the righteousness He has accounted to us (see Romans 3:28; 5:1). Adoption: Adoption means, "the placing of a son." God gives us the full rights of inheritance in His family as though we had been born into it (see Galatians 4:4–5; Ephesians 1:5). Because we are God's children, we can call Him Abba, or Daddy (Romans 8:15). As God's children, we can be confident that He understands us, takes care of us, and will bless us. Sanctification: When we become Christians, God sanctifies us, or sets us apart, positionally, practically, and permanently for Himself (see 1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Thessalonians 2:13). Through sanctification, we become more and more like Jesus Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit. Process of Salvation: Humanity's Side Just as there is a divine side of salvation, there is also a human side that shows itself through "free will": Faith and Belief: Acknowledging Jesus Christ not only in our heads, but also in our hearts (see John 3:18, 36; 5:24; 6:47; Romans 10:9). Faith is a confiding trust. It involves our intellect, emotions, and will (see Mark 4:16–17; Romans 10:9, 17; Ephesians 2:8–9; Hebrews 11:1, 6). Acceptance: True faith and belief in Christ will ultimately lead to an acceptance and confession of Jesus Christ as Lord (see Romans 10:9–10). The Apostle John confirms this when he wrote, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12 NKJV). Repentance: This is a sincere and thorough change of mind and heart toward sin (see Psalms 51:3; 2 Peter 3:9). We must not only turn from our sins, but we must also turn to God (see Acts 3:19; 26:18; 1 Thessalonians 1:9). Product of Salvation God created us, and Christ purchased us so that we might know Him, walk with Him, and glorify Him (see Ephesians 1:11–12). He also wants us to bear much fruit (John 15:8; 13:34–35) as we invest our lives in service to Him (see Matthew 16:24–26; Galatians 6:10). We bear fruit by winning others to Christ by helping them grow spiritually (see Romans 1:13; Proverbs 11:30); by sharing our blessings with others (see Philippians 4:17); by giving praise and thanks to God (see Hebrews 13:15); and by living a changed life through our conduct and character (see Galatians 5:22). Some people think that because they have "prayed to receive Christ," they can live as they please. But salvation brings about a changed life (see 2 Corinthians 5:17) and motivates believers to follow God's purpose for their lives.
