A narrated look at a terrible Sega CD game. We tried to take these FMV games serious, but it was hopeless so we just had fun. Tom Zito's 'classic' presented by NewGenGamers****'s Ray, Ron, Ducky, Jared, and Jeff.
A narrated look at a terrible Sega CD game. We tried to take these FMV games serious, but they suck so we just had fun. This is the finale to our second attempt. Tom Zito's 'classic' presented by NewGenGamers****'s Ray, Ron, Ducky, Jared, and Jeff.
Burning Soldier review. Classic Game Room reviews BURNING SOLDIER for Panasonic 3DO from 1994. While this is far from a "must have" game on the Panasonic 3DO, Burning Soldier packs some good 'ole cheesy early 90's sci fi space ship action. Shoot enemies in a light gun game without a light gun as you simply move a cursor around the screen and blast bad guys with your space ship. Evil aliens have conquered Earth or Mars or something and it's all up to you (and a friend in co-op) to stop them with laser beams and FMV video on the Panasonic 3DO! Burning Soldier video review has Burning Soldier gameplay from the Panny 3DO!
Tomcat Alley video review. Classic Game Room reviews TOMCAT ALLEY for Sega CD (Mega CD), a FMV Full Motion Video button prompt style videgame which was released in 1994 as a Sega TruVideo production. Play as the co-pilot in an F-14 Tomcat fighting against waves of cold war era ex-Soviet bad guys trying to destroy the USA! Move your exciting cursor around the screen and click on things and lock on to enemy jets and helicopters to shoot them down. Tomcat Alley has abysmal gameplay but awesome cut scenes with cheesy B-movie style and fun editing that changes depending on your actions. It even features a girl from a Bond movie! This CGR Tomcat Alley review has gameplay from Tomcat Alley on Sega CD showing jet fighter air combat video game play in HD action from Sega Mega CD.
NOVASTORM video review for Panasonic 3DO. Classic Game Room reviews NOVASTORM ffor Panasonic 3DO from Psygnosis released in 1994, a FMV style space ship shooter like Space Harrier meets Z-Buffered digital images and 90's techno.
Classic Game Room reviews STAR WARS REBEL ASSAULT for Sega CD from Lucas Arts released in 1993. Play as Rookie One and fight with the Alliance against the dreaded Empire in famous scenes from the original Star Wars trilogy. Blow up At-At Imperial Walkers, Tie Fighters and even bullseye womprats in your T-16. Star Wars Rebel Assault is an early game using FMV (Full Motion Video) from the Star Wars movies and even includes new scenes shot specifically for this videogame. Gameplay varies and Star Wars Rebel Assault may be slow and clumsy compared to newer Star Wars games yet it packs a unique charm with some cheesy but entertaining cut scenes and Star Wars style action. This CGR review of Star Wars Rebel Assault from Lucas Arts and JVC has gameplay from Star Wars: Rebel Assault on Sega CD. This game was also sold for PC and Star Wars Rebel Assault on 3DO.
D review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The D for the PlayStation developed by Warp and published by Acclaim. D is a horror game in the form of a Myst clone by the infamous game designer Kenji Eno. Eno, who passed away in early 2013, was a rock star game designer, and even though he made a few games, his personality and presence was well known throughout the game industry. D was developed by Eno's studio Warp, and published by Acclaim. The game has players exploring rooms of a medieval castle, collecting keys, and solving puzzles all in the first-person perspective. The game's graphics are FMV-styled and its soundtrack is minimal. There aren't any enemies except for one fight sequence with a suit of armor. The game must also be completed within a two-hour time limit. This video review features video gameplay footage of D for the PlayStation and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Adam.
