Punk / Rock Antagens music is best described as aggressive modern punk rock with socially conscious lyrics, while maintaining the ability to infuse memorable choruses. While performing the songs live the audience never fails to make the show there own by fighting there way on stage and singing with the band, creating a truly remarkable experience. The punk rock foursome, considered young by industry standards (19, 20, 20, 23), hailing from southern orange county (Rancho Santa Margarita), came together in 2003. The best explanation for the group dynamic would be; they were childhood friends who happen to play instruments. After coming together in the summer they spent hours crafting there sound in the thick of the heat, as the garage became an all too familiar setting. The band quickly shed there garage band mentality/image after attracting the attention of producer Ryan Greene (NoFX, Lagwagon, Strung Out).

we're not for who is making the decisions and we're not for the decisions that are being made. THE UPRISING is a band from Orange County, California with oldschool roots in the OC punk scene. THE UPRISING is the bastard son of EL CENTRO (OC punk rock since 1993). THE UPRISING is comprised of 4 members, three of which have played together in bands for the better part of 15 years. THE UPRISING's sound is a solid, politically charged OC punk sound. THE UPRISING is Crabby on vocals, Brett on guitar, Gil on bass, and Danny on drums.
THE UPRISING's first release will be a 6 song CD EP called "We Don't Belong". The new material is being recorded under the watchful eyes and ears of Greg Hetson (Bad Religion / Circle Jerks) and Jim Monroe (NARC studios) who are producing the CD for the band. Also showing their love for this project is Jim Lindberg (Pennywise), who sang guest vocals on the new CD EP. It's been a real honor for THE UPRISING to work with these guys over the past months.
I'm Sure You have heard this one before. We are another band from Orange County that rocks. The difference is, we do actually tour. We ride around in a bus and Finger Records and Susan Ferris love us. We have played with just about everyone from Pennywise, Bad Religion and even Billy Idol. lol There's DI, CH3, Shattered Faith, Fear, The Skulls, The Weirdos, The Gears, Agent Orange, Legal Weapon, Electric Frankenstien to name a few. Then there are bands like Opiate For The Masses (Who Rock), Mele and Coexist. Taking all that into consideration, we blend in with just about everyone, with a rocking sound of our own. We worked really hard on our new release (Scheduled for early 2006) with real producers. Steve Kravac (Google him), Greg Hetson and Jim Monroe.
wide variety of background and styles to the table. The results have been compared to classics like the Beatles and Crowded House to current faves like Fuel and Weezer. Trends come and go, but great songs are forever. We all have certain songs that define the moments of our lives, highs and lows, loves won and lost. In the end, all of our stories need a soundtrack. Creating that music has become a passion for Scarlet Crush. That search has kept the band busy. Formed in Orange County, California in 1998, this 5-piece outfit has become a mainstay on the local O.C. and L.A. scenes. Filling clubs, appearing on local TV and radio, and winning fans at every turn, Scarlet Crush has become known as a powerful creative force. Excelling in writing, recording and performing a catalog of consistently irresistible pop/rock. The band is currently working on their 3rd CD, due out this Fall '06. Pop / Rock / Rock
