Classic Game Room season 1. June 22, 2000. The boys at CGR review FROGGER for the Atari 2600 VCS Video Game System. This is an old school classic retro arcade hit from the 80's where you pilot a frog through several lanes of traffic and over obstacles in a rushing river. Frogger came out in the arcades and was quite a huge success, now it's a classic and on many game consoles like the Atari 2600, 5200 and Xbox Live Arcade XBLA for the Xbox 360. We're not sure if it'll be out on Playstation 3 PS3 or Wii, but Frogger was a huge pop icon back in the 1980's and is still famous today. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show and started in 1999 online by reviewing games like Frogger, Dig Dug and Ms Pac Man..

Frogger Returns review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Frogger Returns for Playstation 3. By lowering the camera angle to behind Frogger instead of top-down. This makes the game complicated because of the inability to tell where you are, and cause cheap deaths. Also the graphics leave much to be desired. This game is only recommend for hardcore Frogger fans. This video review features video gameplay footage of Frogger Returns for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Frogger is a top down arcade game originally unveiled in 1981. In Frogger, you move frogs across a dangerous highway and then navigate over a river to safely rest on the banks. Avoid cars, dangerous animals, and the water to stay alive. Once you put a frog into every space on the bank, you will move onto the next level. This video game review is brought to you by Classic Game Room's Jen and features gameplay footage from the Xbox Live Arcade version of Frogger, this version was published by Konami and developed by Digital Eclipse. Available on the Xbox Live Arcade.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Frogger 3D from Konami for the Nintendo 3DS. Playing Frogger 3D is like listening to a bad cover band. It plays the right notes, but those notes sound so bad, you wonder if they ever sounded good in the first place. You play Frogger 3D by jumping and dodging, which is at least the right place to start. You're charged with reaching three goals in each level, navigating all kinds of typical Frogger craziness in the process. Frogger 3D also throws in collectible coins, which are scattered across the level and give you bonus points if you can collect them en route to the goals. It has the right ideas, but the game around them is just awful. Level design is the worst culprit here. Frogger 3D has decent mechanics, but the levels are never fun or interesting to play. They're sort of arbitrary, and the layouts are often more frustrating than entertaining. This video review features video gameplay footage of Frogger 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Frogger's Adventures 2: The Lost Wand review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Frogger's Adventures 2: The Lost Wand for the Game Boy Advance developed and published by Konami. Frogger's Adventures 2: The Lost Wand is a kind of action/puzzle game. Frogger is tired of sitting around and longs for a new adventure. It's fortunate, then, that the Eternity Wand has been broken into pieces and needs repairing. Sure, the premise and story are slightly misguided, but the resulting gameplay is at times fantastic. Frogger moves with the same one-at-a-time jumps he had in the arcade original, only this time, it's placed in bigger worlds. Frogger's Adventures 2 is at its best during its maze-like levels, which force players into some seriously tough puzzle-solving. Frogger's Adventures 2: The Lost Wand is a mixed bag, but when it works, it works great. This video review features video gameplay footage of Frogger's Adventures 2: The Lost Wand for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Konami Classics Vol.1 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Konami Classics Vol.1 for XBox Live Arcade. I know! Let's throw three XBLA games on a disc so they can take up physical space instead of just floating about on the XBLA ether. How about Frogger? It's Konami Classics, so there's gotta be Frogger. (Even though the XBLA version is kinda laughable.) Super Contra? Sure, why not, even if it'll just increase the number of profanities shouted at televisions around the country. C'mon, one more to round out the... what's that? Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? Oh, BY ALL MEANS. I think we've sold it here. (Now we just need a remake of Legend of the Mystical Ninja, and we'll be set.) This video review features video gameplay footage of Konami Classics V.1 for XBox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Konami Collector’s Series: Arcade Advanced review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Konami Collector’s Series: Arcade Advanced for the Game Boy Advance developed and published by Konami. Konami Collector’s Series: Arcade Advanced is a collection of six classic Konami arcade games. The collection includes Frogger, Rush’n Attack, Gyruss, Time Pilot, Scramble and Yie Ar Kung-Fu. The games are faithful recreations of the arcade originals, and they also include special multiplayer modes. Use of the legendary Konami Code also enhances the games’ graphics. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t feature battery saves for high scores, but Konami Collector’s Series: Arcade Advanced is still a fun collection of arcade classics. This video review features video gameplay footage of Konami Collector’s Series: Arcade Advanced for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

ColecoVision Super Action Controller review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Buy CGR shirts & hats! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room reviews the ColecoVision Super Action Controller for the Coleco COLECOVISION!!!!! This super controller is less than super in some respects but stands as one of the coolest controllers ever created. It features a red joystick, keypad, trigger buttons and a hand guard for punching people!! Play ColecoVision games and then hit something without damaging your hand or the controller. Super Action Controller works well for some games like Q bert and Frogger but is a bit touchy and requires super wrist strength to hold. CGR Colecovision Super Action Controller video review features the super controller with red joystick being used for Choplifter, Lady Bug, Gorf, Q*bert and Frogger!!!
