A tribute to the death of Hometown America. This is now our own personal battle ground. Here the bad guy comes and jacks you up with a .45, or turns your water off. Or the retard down the street gets loose and runs down the street naked flinging burning gasoline on everything. The 5 year old next door gets 3rd degree burns. Or, some pedophile does something horrible to one or all of the neighborhood children. Drive-by, hell. Some crazy assholes just walk around with machette's and stuff. Yeah this is our war all right. A war, not to keep things the way they were. But just to stay safe. Where is our personal protection. Hopefully its not as screwed up as everything else.

In a few short months, we'll have all the information we could possibly want about the 2008 Honda Accord coupe and sedan. It's set to go on sale this fall, so even though we managed to catch a few prototypes conducting hot-weather testing in the California desert, most of the major details are already set in stone. We know for sure that the hybrid model is gone. Slow sales of the performance-oriented hybrid made it a one-generation wonder, so the top-of-the-line Accord for 2008 will carry a conventional gasoline-fueled V6. We're expecting power levels somewhere north of 260 horses, so this Accord will be one of the faster family sedans in the segment.

As a replacement for gasoline in automobiles, ethanol is touted by the President and Congress as a solution to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. But as ethanol production has risen this year, so has the price of corn, the primary grain used today to produce ethanol. That has many people blaming ethanol for the rise in food prices. A box of corn flakes only has a nickel’s worth of corn. What impacts consumer food prices far more than the price of corn is the energy, the marketing, the packaging, everything else that goes into bringing a box of corn flakes into grocery stores. In fact, studies show that the price of gasoline has more than twice the impact on consumer food prices than does the price of grain. All automobiles are capable of running on fuel that is 10% ethanol and 90% gasoline. Flex Fuel vehicles can run on up to 85% ethanol. Produced for General Motors

A filling station, fueling station, gas station or petrol station is a facility which sells fuel and lubricants for motor vehicles. The most common fuels sold are gasoline (petrol) or diesel fuel. Some stations carry specialty fuels such as liquified petroleum gas (LPG), compressed natural gas (CNG), hydrogen, biodiesel, ethanol, or kerosene. In recent times filling stations have also begun to sell butane and added shops to their primary business, and convenience stores are now a familiar sight alongside pumps. The term "gas station" is mostly used in the United States and Canada, where petrol is known as "gas" or "gasoline." In some regions of Canada the term "gas bar" is also frequently used. Elsewhere in the English-speaking world the form "petrol station" or "petrol pump" are used. In the United Kingdom the single noun garage is still commonly used, even though the petrol station may have no service/maintenance facilities which would justify this description. Similarly, in Australia, the term service station ("servo") describes any petrol station. In Japanese English, it is called a "gasoline stand". In Indian English, it's called a Petrol Pump. In some regions of America, filling stations usually have a mechanic on duty, but this is uncommon in other parts of the world.

This is a 2003 Triumph Speed Four that has been converted to FlexFuel. It can run standard gasoline or E85 Ethanol. Ethanol has 105 octane which makes this thing scream! Orange County Choppers OCC is building a bike than can run on E85. That's great if you have 0,000 bucks. But what happens if there is no E85 where you want to go? Our Triumph is FlexFuel capable. We just fill up with super unleaded if there is no E85. http://www.change2e85.com has Flex Fuel conversion kits for almost any fuel injected motorcycle, car, truck, RV, boat, etc. The converter kit is easy to install. Lead Paint and dust have contaminated our homes. Lead is a toxin that will lower your IQ by ten percent. This is why we have full jails, stupid children and poor decision making politicians. Lead dust is generated simply by opening old windows or walking on old painted floors. The soil around your home is contaminated from the last 80 years of painting and scraping. Your front lawn is contaminated from 40 years of leaded gasoline fallout. For more good information on this topic go to wwwhouseinvstigationscom. Marko Vovk

The engine that runs today's cars and trucks, an internal combustion engine, has more or less stayed the same since it was first invented over a hundred years ago. For decades, engineers have tried to improve the engine, without significantly increasing costs. The homogeneous charge compression ignition, or HCCI engine does just this. It runs more efficiently and also creates less toxic emissions. It does so by burning the fuel with a flameless combustion, and it's not triggered by a spark plug like the internal combustion engines are. This is even important for hybrid vehicles, as most of them have an internal combustion engine and many of them are gasoline powered. By swapping out the existing engine with an HCCI one, it can improve fuel efficiency by more than fifteen percent. It will also help reduce dependence on foreign sources of oil. Auto manufactures say they hope to have a production model ready in the near future. Produced for General Motors

Sharp lines coupled with taut surfaces give the new Opel GT a crisp, dynamic look. Its longitudinally front-installed 264 hp engine with turbocharging and gasoline direct injection accelerates the roadster to 100 km/h from a standing start in just 5.7 seconds, and up to a top speed of around 230 km/h.
