Enviado por " CONSULTORIO MÉDICO JAVIER FLORES BUISSON " MÁNCORA- PERÚ... URL: ******* ... How your baby's growing: Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a fig, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden. She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two — nor will you notice the hiccupping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming. How your life's changing: If you're like most women, you're feeling a bit more energetic now and your nausea may be starting to wane. Unfortunately, you may also be suffering from constipation (caused by hormonal changes, which can slow digestion) and heartburn (hormones again, relaxing the valve between your stomach and esophagus). Just remember, all this discomfort is for a good cause. Don't worry if nausea has made it impossible for you to eat a wide variety of healthy foods or if you haven't put on much weight yet (most women gain just 2 to 5 pounds during the first trimester). Your appetite will likely return soon, and you'll start to gain about a pound a week. Learn which of your symptoms are normal and which are a sign that something might be wrong. You're probably also wondering things like, Can I keep going to dance class? Could the air bags in my car hurt my baby? Which cold medications are safe to take now? Find out what's safe and what's not during pregnancy.

Enviado por " CONSULTORIO MÉDICO JAVIER FLORES BUISSON " MÁNCORA- PERÚ... URL: ******* ... Umbilical cord around the neck. Parents often worry that the umbilical cord will end up wrapped around their baby's neck (also known as a nuchal cord), choking the infant. This is, in fact, a very common place for the cord to be found, because the cramped quarters of the uterus allow for only so many places where the cord can go. It's often helpful to remember that the baby does not get its oxygen through the mouth and nose, as we do, but that the mother does the breathing for the two of them. Furthermore, umbilical cords have mechanisms in place to help them keep functioning even when stretched. The truth is, most babies who are born with the cord around their neck require only an extra moment at birth for the practitioner to unwind it, and then go on to be perfectly healthy

Enviado por " CONSULTORIO MÉDICO JAVIER FLORES BUISSON " MÁNCORA- PERÚ... URL: ******* ... See the big pictureHow your baby's growing: The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry. If you could see inside your womb, you'd spot eyelid folds partially covering her peepers, which already have some color, as well as the tip of her nose and tiny veins beneath parchment-thin skin. Both hemispheres of your baby's brain are growing, and her liver is churning out red blood cells until her bone marrow forms and takes over this role. She also has an appendix and a pancreas, which will eventually produce the hormone insulin to aid in digestion. A loop in your baby's growing intestines is bulging into her umbilical cord, which now has distinct blood vessels to carry oxygen and nutrients to and from her tiny body.

The original name of this stallion is "Swiss Pride of Highland". In autumn of the year 1999 Mr. Peter Rellstab imported 3 gestating mares into Switzerland among them "Highland Champagne", the mother of "Swiss Pride of Highland". In the spring of the year 2000 Swissy (as he was called) was born and registered into the breed register of the TWHBEA under the name "Swiss Pride of Highland". He grew up on the equestrian farm of Peter Rellstab in the company of a lot of horses. Beside Swissy's mother and four further TWH, there were the horses of the riding stable, as well. From the very beginning the little stallion was very outgoing and interested in everything, very accessible and friendly. And thus, it was a delight for Peter Rellstab, the "old cowboy", as he called himself, to teach the first lessons to the young horse. Swissy was always on the cowboy's side and learned quite fast. Even when Peter Rellstab had to move from Switzerland to Germany, due to an occupational change Swissy took part in moving with his friend, the cowboy. Here in Germany, for the now 4-year old stallion the time had come to get accustomed to the saddle and the rider. With much empathy and horse sense of the cowboy, he and his horse became a unit, fast. The stallion learned so fast and showed himself so gentle and cooperative that some people were under the impression Swissy was a gelding. Even a thirteen-year old girl could groom, lunge and ride him. But then fate took its course: In 2005, the old cowboy suddenly, could not ride anymore, since both of his knees were destroyed and so, most of the time Swissy would have had to remain in his stall. With a heavy heart Peter Rellstab decided to give his best friend to another good place. Soon afterwards, he thought that he has found the latter and sold. Before this, Swissy was bred to a mare which did not conceive. However, the name "Swiss Pride OF Highland" the cowboy's horse grew up with, right after sale and on the spot was changed by the buyer into "Pleasure's Pot of gold" and somehow the buyer mangaged to have this name registered into new papers although the stallion was sold with valid and complete papers.Additonally, the wrong statement was given, that the stallion had been "green" at the time of the sale. As the pictures show, that does not correspond to the facts. At the time of sale, "Swiss Pride OF Highland" had completed a solid basic training, also under the rider. Unfortunately there are always people, who avail one selves of the misfortune of others and adorn themselves with borrowed plumes.....

******* This is a video about our son Nathan who has Autism.(Please don't forget to rate this video). Nathan was a premature baby, he was born 3 months early (27 weeks gestation), weighing in at only 910 grams. Nathan spent the first 3 months of his little life in hospital. Nathan had to fight for his life when he was only 5 days old as he was very sick. Thank God he made it and is still with us today. He had heaps of test and probes within that three months and prior to leaving the hospital had to have a double hernia operation. Nathan was a regular visitor at the Royal Womens and Royal Childrens hospital in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia for the first two years of his life. As Nathan grew we started to notice abnormalities with his behaviour. By the time he was 2 years old we knew had severe Autism and as a result was very low functioning. We wanted to be pro-active about this and so we wanted to find out about anything we could that would help our son. As a result my wife came across a number of therapies that have helped our son out a lot, some more successful than others. The bio-medical side of treatment can be very stressful but is very rewarding. Nathan has come along way as a result of the treatment plan that he has been on. The ten minute video can't show you everything but enough to see how a child with Autism can improve dramatically with the right care. Nathan is still on the road to recoverying from autism but we need your help. You can help us help Nathan and other children like Nathan who have Autism receive testing or therapy by making a donation through our Web site: ******* or *******www.autismrecovery****.au

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia -------------------------- The Moro reflex, also known as the startle reflex, is one of the infantile reflexes. It may be observed in incomplete form in premature birth after the 28th week of gestation, and is usually present in complete form by week 34 (third trimester). It is normally lost by the 6th month of life postpartum. It was discovered and first described by Austrian pediatrician Ernst Moro (1874-1951). This reflex is a response to unexpected loud noise or when the infant feels like it is falling. It is believed to be the only unlearned fear in human newborns. The little Albert study used the startle reflex in the famous classical conditioning experiment to make him fear white fuzzy things. The primary significance of this reflex is in evaluating integration of the central nervous system (CNS), since the reflex involves 4 distinct components: Startle spreading out the arms (abduction) unspreading the arms (adduction) Crying (usually) Absence of any component (except crying) or any asymmetry in the movements is abnormal, as is persistence of the reflex in older infants, children and adults. However, in individuals with cerebral palsy, persistence and exacerbation of this reflex is common. The origin of this reflex can be found in that fact that primate infants of our ancestors clung to their mother's fur soon after birth, giving their mother the advantage of having her hands free to forage for food and such. If human babies are falling backward with their head their innate reflex will be to stretch out the arms to grab and cling to their mother.

*******www.cafepress****/liagen/4208132 In domestic dogs, sexual maturity (puberty) begins to happen around age 6 to 12 months for both males and females, although this can be delayed until up to two years old for some large breeds. Adolescence for most domestic dogs is around 12 to 15 months, beyond which they are for the most part more adult than puppy. As with other domesticated species, domestication has selectively bred for higher libido and earlier and more frequent breeding cycles in dogs, than in their wild ancestors. Dogs remain reproductively active until old age. An Australian Shepherd Puppy Red MerleMost female dogs have their first estrous cycle between 6 and 12 months, although some larger breeds delay until as late as 2 years. Females experience estrous cycles biannually, during which her body prepares for pregnancy, and at the peak she will come into estrus, during which time she will be mentally and physically receptive to copulation. Dogs bear their litters roughly 56 to 72 days after fertilization, although the length of gestation can vary. An average litter consists of about six puppies, though this number may vary widely based on the breed of dog. Toy dogs generally produce from one to four puppies in each litter, while much larger breeds may average as many as 12 pups in each litter.

Album: The Awakening +-+ Biography: All art has a goal, understood by some and misunderstood by others, but always present in our every day lives, even at the simplest things like fondling someones hair or a trading eyes. A romantic vision? Perhaps. But nourished with this love and romance for the music, in 2003 two accomplices in the artistic crime, Sérgio and Chikko, Got together to execute it. An odyssey had begun with rocking riffs, little orphans and stripped of guidance, but treated like the purest gold. Post Germination and gestation, to paint the screen came along new brushes. Quim at the drums and Gnomo at the bass. The first month gone by and the first songs were made and solidified and the band made magic out of their musical moments. GENRE: Hard Rock
