Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy for the Game Boy Advance developed by Altron and published by THQ. Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy is a side-scrolling action game based on the Nickelodeon animated series Danny Phantom. Players play as Danny himself! The game begins with a dark, evil Danny tearing through things like he's dark and evil. Which he is. Turns out some dastardly villains are trying to get Danny to turn to the dark side. Sounds familiar. Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy is a beat 'em up similar to the NES classics you know and love. Danny can punch and kick ghosts into oblivion, but he also has some special attacks that require energy. To gain that energy, Danny must switch from superhero Danny to regular Danny. Essentially a combination of the classic TMNT games and a Ghostbusters-like concept, Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy is a single-player action game for young players and fans of the show. This video review features video gameplay footage of Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

CGR scheduled the first Classic Game Room Home Invasion and invited friends to the virtual Wind Squid Pub for a few rounds of virtual ale. Does PS3 Home work as a social gathering tool for like minded individuals? Can it really work as a place to bring friends together and hange out? Classic Game Room tries bowling and shooting some pool in Playstation Home as well. This CGR review of Playstation PS3 Home has gameplay and video footage from Playstation Home showing PS3 Home in action. You can also buy new items like a Star Wars Stormtrooper outfit and light saber at the Lucasarts store. CGR has arcade machines from the Namco Museum for PS3 and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters.

Ghosthunter review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Ghosthunter for the PlayStation 2 developed by SCE Cambridge and published by Namco. Ghosthunter is a third-person shooter and black comedy, similar in tone to movies like Ghostbusters and Gremlins. Players assume the role of Lazarus Jones, a rookie cop who finds himself in a sticky situation on his first day at work. He's investigating a strange building when he finds a strange room with strange things. And because all games need a plot device, he turns those things on. Unfortunately, this releases a whole army of ghosts, and that leaves Lazarus to track them down and catch them Peter Venkman style. Ghosthunter arms players with unique weapons like a ray gun and a boomerang trap, but it plays like a typical third-person shooter. Only you're shooting ghosts. Ghosthunter has been praised for its style and graphics, which are very impressive for the PlayStation 2 hardware, and blends humor and horror. Lazarus, for example, is voiced by the great Rob Paulsen. This video review features video gameplay footage of Ghosthunter for the PlayStation 2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime from Behaviour Interactive and Atari for Playstation 3. Have you always wanted to join the Ghostbusters? Well, now is your chance! You and the other new recruits have been given your training and are now ready to be a part of the Ghostbusters. The story has the villain trying to revive an ancient evil god and the Ghostbusters must stop him. You will travel all around New York City fighting ghosts. The game controls like other twin stick shooters, and falls in line with other games in the genre. You enter into a room and eliminate all the enemies and then move on to the next. The ghosts come in different colors and you must adjust your proton pack accordingly. The game is rather basic but fun enough, especially when played with friends. This video review features video gameplay footage of Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime for Playstation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Ultraman, a giant monster fighting game developed and published in 1991 by Bandai for the SNES. When the world is threatened by a series of monsters, each tens of stories tall, you don't call the army, you don't call the Ghostbusters, you don't call the Men in Black. You call... THIS GUY IN SPANDEX. You punch, kick, and Specium Beam your way through nine kaiju... and unfortunately, that's about it. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Ultraman for the SNES and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Ghost in the Shell review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Ghost in the Shell, a tank-combat action game developed by Exact and published in 1997 by THQ for the PlayStation. Ghostbusters was a great game, but a good chunk of what made it awesome - vis a vis, getting to "ride along" with the franchise characters - shows up in this shockingly well-executed adaptation of the futuristic police drama Ghost in the Shell. Any tank can engage in gunfire, and launch homing missiles and grenades... but can they climb walls? And ride along ceilings? Didn't think so. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Ghost in the Shell for the PlayStation and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Ghostbusters II Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Ghostbusters II, a ghost busting slash car driving game developed by Kemco and published in 1990 by Activision for the NES. I guess we're gonna have to take control. This, the non-HAL non-PAL non-Japan version, bears a striking resemblance to Pitfall, just with more slime and driving. Lots of driving. Over huge chasms in Central Park. And enough ghosts to make the Runaway Five turn around and high-tail it back to Twoson. Unfortunately, all the Earthbound references I can make won't make this game much better. Get ready to spend plenty of time staring at Vigo's chaotic brow. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Ghostbusters II for the NES and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Ghostbusters: The Video Game from Red Fly Studio and Atari for the Nintendo Wii. As with the HD versions, which have also been reviewed here on CGRundertow, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is like the third Ghostbusters movie we were never given. The HD versions certainly have an incredible look, but they don't control like this. Using the Wii Remote to point, you can aim your proton stream a lot easier. And in addition to the pointer, the game also uses motion in really simple and satisfying ways that actually add to the experience. Just throwing the trap feels awesome on Wii. This video review features video gameplay footage of Ghostbusters: The Video Game for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

The Hidden review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The Hidden from 1st Playable Productions and Majesco for the Nintendo 3DS. The Hidden takes the concept used in the 3DS's AR Card Games and expands it into a full game...or at least, it tries to. This is a Ghostbusters-like game that turns your 3DS into proton pack, essentially. Ghosts pop out of the walls in your surroundings, and you use your 3DS to bust 'em. The problem is that The Hidden doesn't quite come together as a full and enjoyable video game. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Hidden for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
