Balanced Health Today Call Now 1(888)277-4980 Heavy metal toxicity is an excessive build-up of metals in the body. Oftentimes, the vague symptoms produced by heavy metal toxicity are mistakenly misdiagnosed as incurable chronic conditions. The most common heavy metals that humans are exposed to are aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. Heavy metals are found in everyday existence and are frequently hard to avoid entirely. Most people can excrete toxic heavy metals from the body successfully. However, some peopleespecially those who suffer from chronic conditionscannot excrete them efficiently enough and a build-up occurs. Recent research also reveals that those who cannot excrete heavy metals efficiently appear to be genetically predisposed to this condition. Research has shown that the APO-E 4/3 and 4/4 genotypes are the worst excretors of heavy metals. Those with this version of APO-E proteinabundant in the cerebral spinal fluid surrounding the brainwill have the highest affinity for becoming ill from exposure to neuro-toxic heavy metals, especially mercury when it is present in combination with others. When numerous metals are present in the body, they have a synergistic toxicity. Dr. Boyd Haley, professor and chair of the chemistry department at the University of Kentucky, performed a study on rats and found that the mortality rate of rats exposed to a small dose of mercury or aluminum killed only 1 rat in 100. However, when the rats were exposed to both mercury and aluminum at the same time, all 100 rats died a 100% mortality rate.

Balanced Health Today Call Now 1(888)277-4980 Our standard under bench filter provides great protection from the contaminants found in public water supply systems with the combination of KDF and Carbon treatments. Unlike carbon filters, the KDF technology increases the range and effectiveness of treatment, while creating an environment which will not support bacterial growth. KDF® the name for high purity copper and zinc granules. In solution, these two metals interact to create a slight electrical charge. The resulting ionization and oxidation/reduction processes modify the structure of heavy metals and other contaminants. This media is a major advancement in water treatment technology that works on the electro-chemical and spontaneous-oxidation-reduction (redox) principles. Chlorine is instantaneously and almost inexhaustibly oxidized. Iron and hydrogen sulfide are oxidized into insoluble matter and attach to the surface of the media. Heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and aluminum are removed from the water by the electrochemical process. Arsenic and radon are reduced. Metals are attracted to the surface of the media, much like a magnet. The media also inhibits bacteria growth throughout the entire unit and in fact, has been shown to reduce it up to 90%!

Balanced Health Today Call Now 1(888)277-4980 Today, probably more than any time in the history of man we are exposed to an incredible plethora of toxic elements. Heavy metals such as mercury, lead, cadmium, and aluminum, are in our food, water, atmosphere, vaccines, and especially our dental fillings. Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, antibiotics, and hormones are in most of the food we eat, unless you eat organic. Processed foods are full of preservatives and other chemicals which if consumed non-diluted would most certainly be fatal. Finally, many of the containers we routinely use are full of chemicals that can leach into the foodstuffs they are designed to hold. All in all, regardless of how things appear, we live in a toxic soup. Below I have outlined a 5 step detox process. Each step will be explained in detail: Remove external and internal sources amalgam fillings of toxic exposure. Mobilize sequestered toxic metal out of the cells and into your blood. Chelate (bind up) these mobilized toxic metals in your bloodstream. Re-mineralize the blood. Support the effected detoxifying organs-Thyroid, Liver, and Kidneys

Balanced Health Today Call Now 1(888)277-4980 Heavy metals include metals such as lead, mercury, boron, aluminum, cadmium, arsenic, antimony, cobalt, and lithium. Only a few such heavy metals have been researched in connection to reproductive function. People are continually exposed to metals in the environment. Medical tests can detect metals often, but this is to be expected and alone is not evidence that a person is poisoned. Metal screening tests should not be used unless there is reason to believe that a person has had excessive exposure to metals. People should seek medical testing for poisoning only if they are concerned for a particular reason, and physicians should consider a patient's history and physical examination before conducting tests to detect metals. An option for treatment of metal poisoning may be chelation therapy, which is a technique which involves the administration of chelation agents to remove metals from the body. Chelating agents are molecules that have multiple electron-donating groups, which can form stable coordination complexes with metal ions. Complexation prevents the metal ions from reacting with molecules in the body, and enable them to be dissolved in blood and eliminated in urine. It should only be used in people who have a diagnosis of metal intoxication. Chelation therapy is administered under very careful medical supervision due to various inherent risks. When the therapy is administered properly, the chelation drugs have significant side effects. Chelation administered inappropriately can cause neurodevelopmental toxicity, increase risk of developing cancer, and cause death; chelation also removes essential metal elements and requires measures to prevent their loss. * Symptoms * dark circles under the eyes * depression * digestive problems * extreme fatigue * alcohol intolerance * anxious and irritable * insomnia * loss of memory and forgetfulness * low body temperature * chronic unexplained pain * coated tongue

Balanced Health Today Call Now 1(888)277-4980 There are two types of heavy metal toxicity: acute and chronic. Symptoms of acute toxicity are easy to recognize because they are usually quick and severe in onset. The symptoms include: Cramping, nausea, and vomiting Pain Sweating Headaches Difficulty breathing Impaired cognitive, motor, and language skills Mania Convulsions Chronic exposure, on the other hand, produces different symptoms, which can be easily confused with symptoms of different illnesses. Some of the symptoms are impaired cognitive, motor, and language skills, learning difficulties, nervousness and emotional instability, insomnia and nausea. In fact, because toxic metals block the absorption and utilization of essential minerals, this in itself can set up a whole cascade of symptoms that gradually get worse over time. Below is a more specific checklist of symptoms of metal toxicity poisoning: Chronic pain throughout the muscles and tendons or any soft tissues of the body Chronic malaise - general feeling of discomfort, fatigue, and illness Brain fog - state of forgetfulness and confusion Chronic infections such as Candida Gastrointestinal complaints, such as diarrhea, constipation, bloating, gas, heartburn, and indigestion Food allergies Dizziness Migraines and or headaches Visual disturbances Mood swings, depression, and or anxiety Nervous system malfunctions - burning extremities, numbness, tingling, paralysis, and/or an electrifying feeling throughout the body

Balanced Health Today Call Now 1(888)277-4980 Do you suffer from chronic health problems and have yet to find the answers you seek? If you feel that you have been searching for answers for far too long, you are not alone. You may already be doing everything you can think of to keep yourself healthy. You stick to your organic diet. You get as much exercise as you can tolerate. You meditate. You take your daily supplements. You take time for yourself. As far as you can tell, you’re doing everything right, and yet, your symptoms persist. Fatigue. Migraine headaches. Joint pain. Brain fog. Sluggishness. Inflammation. Constipation and other digestive disturbances. Susceptibility to infections. Nervousness and anxiety. Insomnia. Poor memory. Yeast and bacterial overgrowth. Skin eruptions. Attentional deficits. Mood dysregulation. Sadly, these types of symptoms are becoming more and more commonplace. If you suffer from any one of these on a regular basis, odds are you have been to countless health professionals, scoured the internet, and read everything you can get your hands on, awaiting relief that never comes, or lasts only a short while. You may even have been told that it’s “all in your head,” that it’s “hormonal,” or “it’s just stress.” Yet as your symptoms continue, you keep asking yourself “What have I missed? Why does my body still feel this way?” In this modern era, we are bombarded by toxins of every kind imaginable. Our bodies are subjected to an onslaught of dangerous chemicals on a daily basis from things like air pollution, plastics, and industrial cleaning agents, not to mention the thousands of new chemicals introduced into our environment every year. Toxins also saturate our water reservoirs, fall down from the sky, and hide out in our homes and workplaces. This has become an unfortunate reality of modern life. However, if you are experiencing any of the above symptoms, there’s a good chance that a particular class of toxins are to blame.
