Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Link's Crossbow Training from Nintendo for the Nintendo Wii from November 2007. Set in the world of Twilight Princess, Link's Crossbow Training was a short title packaged with the Wii Zapper accessory in order to help promote the product and also gave fans of Nintendo the opportunity, although briefly, to return to Twilight Princess's Hyrule. This video game review features Link's Crossbow Training gameplay footage and commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Ray.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time from Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube. This version of Ocarina of Time was released in 2003 as a free pre-order gift with the new Zelda game The Wind Waker. What makes this a nice port is the GameCube. Nintendo's purple cube cleans up the muddiness that was characteristic of even the best-looking Nintendo 64 games. The resolution was upped, which gives everything a clearer and sharper look, and the game even supports 480p for those with HD TVs and component cables. Hyrule was a gorgeous place in 1998, and although the textures and models do look dated, the art and presentation look better than ever. This video review features video gameplay footage of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D from Grezzo and Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. The first major release for Nintendo's budding handheld, Ocarina of Time 3D is a 3D port of the classic 1998 original, widely considered one of the greatest games of all-time. This is more a refinement than a remake, as Ocarina of Time 3D preserves the core Ocarina experience and makes only the most necessary of adjustments. Hyrule hasn't changed at all in the last 13 years, but it does look an awful lot different...and that's what Ocarina of Time 3D is all about. This video review features video gameplay footage of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game collectible review of the The Legend of Zelda: Overworld Map that was included with the original game for the NES. Before games had convenient auto-mapping features, gamers had to use real maps, or even draw them by hand! Not only does this handy map help you navigate Hyrule, it also includes some handy tips and tricks for conquering this classic adventure game. This review showcases the Legend of Zelda: Overworld Map and includes commentary from CGRundertow reviewer Kevin.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for the Nintendo Wii U developed and published by Nintendo. Arguably the most beautiful game Nintendo has ever done, the colorful Wind Waker returns a decade after its controversial GameCube debut. This time, it’s in stunning HD on Nintendo’s Wii U, where the benefits of the GamePad makes playing Zelda a much more immersive experience. Wind Waker took the Zelda series into the future in terms of its storyline, as well. The land of Hyrule is now only a legend, carried on through oral tales and the whispers of the wind. Now, the world is covered by a vast ocean, where people survive on tiny islands separated by miles and miles of water. This is the world where Link lives, a young boy who’s finally of age to start wearing green like the fabled Hero of Time. Little does Link know he shares the same fate as the hero of legend. Wind Waker’s colorful graphics haven’t aged a day, and the game looks and plays better than ever on the Wii U. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS developed by Nintendo EAD 3 and Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo. The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds takes up the herculean task of continuing the story set forth in the beloved 1992 classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. It takes the same world, same locations, and many of the same characters (or their descendants) on a new quest, bouncing between the realms of Hyrule and Lorule (and yes, that pun is as bad as you think it is). This Link ditches his mundane job as the blacksmith's apprentice to fulfill his destiny of collecting (or simply renting) various tools and magical implements, trekking through dungeons, and being really, really thin when it suits him. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
The Legend Of Zelda review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com The Legend Of Zelda review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The Legend Of Zelda on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U developed and published by Nintendo. All legends start somewhere. Originally released to the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1987, this was the starting point for the most beloved legend in gaming—Nintendo’s masterful Legend of Zelda. The original game, though dated in many ways, has aged incredibly well. And most incredible of all is how much it truly has in common with later Zelda classics, like Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword. Playing as the boy hero Link, players are sent off on their own in Hyrule, a massive open world that was truly unprecedented in video games 1987. There’s no direction or guidance given, and to conquer the evil plaguing this land, players must apply real-world logic and problem-solving skills. They must talk to the right people, find the right items and go to the right places. Either that or get a map. The Legend of Zelda is a single-player gaming masterpiece, and is now available on the Wii U’s eShop. This video review features video gameplay footage of The Legend Of Zelda on the eShop for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
