Young musician with many wishes to express themselves and be heard someday....
One of the breakout stars of last year's The Avengers was Mark Ruffalo's portrayal of Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk and fans are eager to see more of our favorite angry green giant, right? But when and how that will happen remains a mystery...until now...well maybe. The folks over at Latino Review recently teased exclusive news on an upcoming Marvel property and that news is all about Hulk. Keep in mind, none of this news is confirmed and should be taken with a grain of salt at this point, but possible spoilers do lie've had enough time to prepare. Ok, So what exactly is this super secret Hulk news? Well, according to the site, inside sources at Marvel have revealed not only Phase 2, but also Phase 3 plans for the character. The next time we will see Hulk is May 2015 with the release of The Avengers 2 and at the end of that film we'll see Hulk banished from Earth by the Illumanati, a secret organization consisting of superheroes like Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Mister Fantastic and Charles Xavier. The Illumanti feel that the Hulk's rage and knack for destruction makes him too, too dangerous to remain on Earth. This banishment will lead to a Hulk solo film based on the 2006 storyline "Planet Hulk". In that comic, Hulk lands on a planet where he is turned into a slave and forced to fight in gladiator style battles. He eventually escapes, of course, and takes on the planet's king, who he defeats and becomes king himself. He eventually marries and becomes a father on his new world. So Hulk ends up living happily ever after with Mrs. Hulk right? Not so fast. The Planet Hulk storyline ends with the ship that the Illumanti sends Hulk away in blowing up, killing his pregnant wife. Hulk returns to Earth with some of his followers to exact revenge on the Illumanti. The storyline plays out in the World War Hulk comic and, according to Latino Review, this will also be the storyline of The Avengers 3, with The Avengers having to take on Hulk. "Planet Hulk" and "World War Hulk" are some of the most popular Hulk comic storylines ever, but do you think they could translate well to the big screen or would you like to see a Hulk solo film and The Avengers 3 focus on more original plots? Give us your thoughts below or you can catch us up on Twitter ClevverMovies. Until next time, I'm Erin White, thanks for watching!
