If you would like to save money and still vacation in Deer Valley luxury, there's nothing quite like this boutique lodge by the DV lifts. Because of the times--and because I'd love for you to be able to experience my Red Stag #20--I'll happily try to work within your budget so you can have a wonderful winter. You can reserve my #20 as either a 1 bedroom/1 bath...a 1 bedroom/2 baths...or a 2 bedroom/3 baths. However small or large your party--however small or large your budget--I can accommodate you. If your party grows, I can also get you additional residences. How about the whole 2nd floor? "Warm, Friendly Bed & Breakfast Meets Rich, European Lodge." That's the unique feel of this Red Stag Lodge #20. The boutique chalet is a welcome haven -- a breath of fresh air-- amidst all the huge, cold ski complexes. The gentleman who built this lodge has developed several large resorts in DV, but this was his pet project, designed with comfortable, inviting common areas--sitting rooms & fireplaces--for his family & friends. The "anti-hotel." Several of us bought it last fall...few people know about it and it's still available because we're just starting to market it and actually sell fully-deeded residences as fractionals (ask if you're interested). In the meantime, it's up and running and wonderful in every way. RS #20 is bright, spacious & airy...a 1,400 square foot residence with 2 bedrooms (kings) & 3 full bathrooms. With its new pull-out sofa in the den, #20 can sleep 6 comfortably. Or if you're just a couple or a small family you can book it in luxurious portions as a 1 bedroom/2 baths or 1 bedroom/1 bath (this is a rare opportunity since there are very few 1 bedroom residences in Deer Valley). * Wonderful, modern gourmet kitchen opens to Great Room * 2 balconies with full views of Deer Valley * 2 warm fireplaces * Romantic private Jacuzzi on bedroom balcony with view of the mountains & stars * 3 flat screen TVs with DVDs * Bose surround sound * iMac computer * European antiques & luxurious linens And then there's the rest of your lodge. An exciting new game room with pool table, X-Box, Wii and all the hottest games is just down the hall. An Infinity swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna are just steps away. A fitness room is on the 3rd floor. Wireless internet is everywhere. And warm, wonderful sitting rooms welcome you throughout. BEST OF ALL...Just a 10-minute stroll down the street (flat, no hills, I've timed it wearing full ski gear) is Deer Valley's premiere Snow Park Lodge, with its lifts, ski-school, ski-rentals, restaurant and gift & ski shops. If you prefer, you can just hop on the very-convenient Deer Valley parking lot tram outside your door. A short 10 minute drive takes you to Park City's famed Main Street with all of its restaurants, galleries and shops. * Write or call 310-567-6195. I'll respond quickly. Last minute bookings are welcome. Christmas holidays & New Years are still available * *As Seen On www.ParkCityWeek.com* ************************************** **Music by www.ShirleyCason.com**

Today is a big product refresh from Apple. They've updated iMacs, the Mac Mini and the Mac Pro. Very little has changed on the outside of any of the machines. It's all about faster, better more effecient performance. The Mac Pro internal system architecture has been re-designed to make upgrades even easier. Out of everything that's changed, I'm most excited about the new Airport Extreme. It now simultaneously and separately supports 2.4GHz data Wi-Fi AND 5GHz Wi-Fi. That means your need for speed on your computer isn't throttled by all the 2.4GHz wireless devices you have in your house. The new Extreme also supports up to 50 users and guests can be on a different network to keep data on your network secure. On today's Brief, I talked about being short-listed for the Best Job in the World contest. Winning would mean Neal and I would move to an Island in the Great Barrier Reef from July to December 2009. The whole thing is a marketing campaign by Tourism Queensland so my duty would be to share my experience on the island through video, blog posts and tweets. I would, of course, continue to do Geek Brief from the Island. The way it would work is pretty simple. Neal would be with me and he would work full time on the show. I already spend 80 percent of my time interacting with you guys through Twitter, blog posts and email. That's what Tourism Queensland is looking for in this promotion, so my life wouldn't be that much different for those six months than it is now. The difference would be a change of scenery, and I would be producing a ton of travel and nature content in addition to releasing 4 episodes of Geek Brief a week with the beauty of the Islands of the Great Barrier Reef in the background. Tourism Queensland will pick 10 people. There is an online vote to pick an 11th. All 11 will travel to Australia for an interview. They'll pick from the 11. I appreciate your votes for me at IslandReefJob.com/cali. You can vote once a day for the next 30 days. If you have any questions about it, I'll answer in the comments on this post. Click here to Vote! (you can vote once a day!) You can see who's in the lead on The Wildcard Leaderboard

It's Tuesday and Apple announced several new refreshed models to their beautiful line of computers. Starting first is their iMac which now sports an NVIDIA GeoForce chip, double the RAM, 320GB hard drive and comes in a 20" screen or a 24" screen. The 20" screen is much more affordable and starts out at $1,299. The Mac Pro got updated as well for the professional graphics moxies and you guys will love this power house: Quad-Core Intel Xeon 3500 processor, 3GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 120, 640GB hard drive. The lower end Mac Pro will cost $2,500. The Mac Mini, which is my favorite Apple announcement, has completely been refreshed with moxieness. It starts out at $599 for the base model: 2 ghz, 1 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT, 120gb hard drive and a Mini-Display and DVI port. There are 5 USB outlets as well as FireWire 800 to make this a very strong machine. If you already own a monitor, this is the perfect Mac to purchase. Apple also announced their updates to Airport Extreme Base Station and Time Capsule. They both allow you to access your files on your TC anywhere on the internet AND the AEBS allows for dual band networking so you can attach 802.11g and 802.11n gadgets for dual networking. Last, more and more reports are buzzing about that Google is feeling threatened by Twitter. As you know, Twitter is becoming more and more popular and is the talk of the country these past three weeks. Google's CEO made a snide remark about Twitter which has some of us thinking there may be a war brewing!
