Pester review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Pester for the Xbox 360 developed and published by Flump Studios. Combining the traditional gameplay of top-down arcade shooters with a touch of bullet hell brutality, Pester is an inspired combination of classic gaming concepts. In fact, it wears that inspiration on its sleeve—the entire game is done with slick pixelated graphics! And with 96 different ways to play, Pester is as robust as indie games come. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pester for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Starbound’s gameplay appears similar to that of Terraria, the game’s spiritual predecessor, in which the player can explore a randomly generated world to obtain new weapons, armor, and various miscellaneous items. Starbound differs in that there are multiple races and npcs, and that the player character is able to travel through space. Kentucky Route Zero: Episode One review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Kentucky Route Zero for PC developed and published by Cardboard Computer. Kentucky Route Zero is an indie game that was Kickstarted long before gaming and Kickstarter became affiliated with one another after the success of Double Fine's fundraiser. And Kentucky Route Zero is an episodic point-n-click game that promises to bring five episodes to the interstate of Kentucky. Just like any good point-n-click journey, Kentucky Route Zero banks on curiosity through an intriguing narrative and a great atmosphere with matching visuals. For the most part, it is a point-n-click game, but not so much in the way of a traditional adventure as the genre is accustomed. In the end, it's more of an interactive novel than anything else. This video review features video gameplay footage of Kentucky Route Zero for PC and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Steve.
