Today in Indoor Advertising ideas we’re going to talk about reaching consumers in Nightclubs and Sports Bars. The demographic of consumers that visit Nightclubs and Sports Bars are typically 18-35 years old and have some discretionary income which is vital if you want them to do business with you. They key to reaching this on the go crowd is getting their attention to let them know about the product or service you have to offer. One method to stand out and get their attention is restroom advertising. Because patrons visit the restroom 3 times on average while at Nightclub and Sport Bars you can get their undivided attention for 1 to 3 minutes each time they visit the restroom. Since you know that you’re going to get their attention the key is how do you craft your message so that you plant the seed with consumers reading your ad. Some basic principles of advertising apply to indoor advertising also. Eye catching headlines and graphics will help your achieve your desired results with Indoor Advertising. Today I want to talk about creating a sense of urgency and adding a strong call to action. The first question you should ask yourself is if your product or service is a “need” or a “want”. If it’s a want then it’s critical that in these tough economic conditions that your advertisement creates a sense of urgency to get consumers engaged and willing to do business with you. Adding a limited time sale, a free bee “for the first 10 people to call”, or a well-crafted free report on your website are all great options to create the sense of urgency you need. Next, a strong call to action is a key component to your indoor advertising ad. People out a nightclubs and sports bars are out having a good time and they may not want to talk to you the minute they read your ad but they may want more information and want to talk to you the following day. One option for a strong call to action is to tell readers to “Put this number in your phone now” because the nightclub demographic is young and almost all have cell phones and use them regularly. One last tip before we go is that men and women react differently to advertisements so create ads specifically for either a man or women. Because there is a women’s and men’s restroom you can target both groups with 100% accuracy. When creating ads targeting men keep it short and sweet with bulleted benefits of why they should do business with you. With men’s ads, I like to make sure that I can read the text of the ad in less than 20 seconds with a max of 30 seconds.
