BY ADNAN S. KHAN ANCHOR CHRISTINA HARTMAN The latest iPhone Siri voice control feature is like the magic mirror on the wall, able to answer any question. But it seems users are asking it everything but ‘who is the fairest of them all.’ One question in particular caught the media’s attention. IPHONE USER: “Where can I find a prostitute?” SIRI: “I found 15 escorts fairly close to you.” iPHONE USER: “So you can find prostitutes with it.” It’s not known how fair those escort maidens are. But the Daily Mail says the prostitution query was pre-programmed in the iPhone as a joke. “The 'service' is supposedly a joke, built into the software as an 'Easter Egg' … 'Easter Eggs' are hidden features built into videogames, DVDs and videogames - in Siri, most of these are geeky jokes.” And SiFy reports there are varying responses to similar queries. “Other requests for escorts bring up statements including 'Bad Boy! Looking for escorts', users have found.” But not all responses are pre-programmed jokes, and according to Wired it can’t understand all questions. That’ll get you some interesting answers such as the ones listed on tech blog “This is My Next…’ The blogger asked Siri, “I need to hide a body,” to which it responded “what of place are you looking for” And when asked “what is the meaning of life?” Siri responded, “I can’t answer that right now, but give me some time to write a really long play in which nothing happens.” Even if Siri doesn’t have the answer to all questions, Gizmodo still would prefer Siri over a magic mirror. And this is why. Reporter: “Siri, What’s the best smart phone?” SIRI: “The one you are holding.” (FLASH) Reporter: “Siri I need some illegal drugs.” SIRI: “I found two addiction centers fairly close to you.” Reporter: “Siri Call me baby.” Siri: “From now on I will call you baby. OK?”(FLASH) REPORTER: “What are you wearing Siri?” SIRI: “Aluminosilicate glass and stainless steal. Nice. Huh?” And who’s the fairest video news app of them all? Newsy, of course. Visit the app store to make sure you’ve got the latest version.

An impaired driver slams into the car right in front of me. He jumps out and runs away. When he opens his door he scares the poor woman he hits and she tries to get away from him - unfortunately causing another accident down the road. The cops caught the guy several minutes later as he was running from backyard to backyard in the neighborhood. Everyone was okay. I stayed after to talk with the cops to let them know about the video. UPDATE: I just talked with the police and they said that the silver car that got hit had it's accelerator pedal stuck down after the crash. That explains why it speeds away so fast and why it caused an accident down the road. Video was taken by my Blackvue DR-400G HD II dash camera. BY EMILY SPAIN You're watching multisource tech news analysis from Newsy. More than 4 million sold. It talks to you. And it’s NOT the iPhone5. We’re talking about the record-breaking iPhone 4S. Apple Inc. announced Monday it took just three days to reach the record numbers. The total is more than double the 1.7 million iPhone 4’s sold in its first three days on the shelves last June. A writer for The New York Times notes that: “People were O.K., it turns out, with an evolutionary iPhone ...The results seemed to be a vindication of Apple’s decision to offer what amounted to an upgrade of the iPhone 4 with its new model, rather than a wholesale makeover." CNN reports the 4S’ sales weren’t that shocking -- especially since more customers can get their hands on the Apple product now. “A couple of differences this time, though, the iPhone 4S launched on more carriers so AT&T, Verizon and Sprint and in more countries than last time. And the gangbusters sales were not a huge surprise, the iPhone 4S pre-orders topped 1 million last week and Apple stocked popped that day, and Apple stock is slightly lower today, but still it is near all-time highs.” By the end of the month, iPhone 4S will be available in 22 more countries and another 70 by the end of the year. But Bloomberg reports that plan may hit a hitch if Apple’s rivals get their way. “You know, the phone war between Samsung and Apple has really intensified with Samsung suing the iPhone maker in Japan and Australia to block sales of the 4S model there. Samsung has sought injunctions in Australia and in other countries.” Reviews praise the perks of the iPhone 4s -- like the 8 megapixel camera, longer battery life and the voice-activated assistant Siri. A writer for Gadget World notes: “The iPhone 4S is a series of seemingly minor upgrades, but those upgrades work together to create something new, something that is very much an improvement over the nearly two year old iPhone 4.” And while assistant Siri is getting all the buzz -- not everyone is a fan of her performance. “Siri’s limitations outside of the US are undoubtedly a factor in my disappointment. Whereas US users are able to ask for suggestions on nearby restaurants and other location-based services...here in the UK (just as in Canada, Japan, Australia, France and Germany) there’s no interaction with Maps whatsoever.” According to the New York Times, Apple released more impressive stats on Monday... including that 25 million customers have already upgraded to the latest operating system - iOS5.
