Balanced Health Today Call Now 1(888)277-4980 Exposure to heavy metals is on the rise. We are all repeatedly exposed to toxins on a daily basis, whether it is through the food we eat, the air we breathe or the products we use. Modern living and convenience carries a steep price. Toxicity is such a problem that babies are now BORN with toxins, due to the toxic load of their mothers. A 2004 study by the Environmental Working Group EWG found that blood samples from newborns contained an average of 287 toxins, including mercury, fire retardants, pesticides and chemicals in non-stick cookware. Causes of Chronic Heavy Metal Exposures Heavy metal toxicity can result from either acute or chronic exposure to heavy metals. Chronic exposure commonly comes from mercury-based amalgam fillings, chemical residues in foods, mercury in vaccines and flu shots, toxins in personal care products, household products, industrial exposures, air and water pollution to name a few. Some professions carry a higher risk for heavy metal exposure such as anyone in the dental profession including dental office staff, hairdressers, artists, and lab workers. Individuals who have chronic conditions or weakened immune systems can be more susceptible in developing heavy metal toxicity, as they are not able to excrete these toxins as efficiently as someone with a stronger disposition. Many times, symptoms of metal toxicity are misdiagnosed as chronic illnesses such as multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, autism or depression. Causes of Acute Heavy Metal Exposures Mishandled metals at a job site Chemical and heavy metal spills even from a broken mercury thermometer Chronic exposure happens over a period of time, and includes: Having mercury amalgams silver fillings in teeth Living in a home built prior to 1978 that has lead-based paint Smoking and/or inhaling second-hand smoke Eating foods such as contaminated fish that contain high levels of heavy metals Living near a landfill

10: Scorpion Venom The notorious scorpion roams the desert sands and is well known for its dangerous bite. Though There are close to 2,000 scorpion species each species has specialized venom to suit its environment. Not many people though know how lucrative the venom can be. At close to $10,000 per litre it is one of the most expensive liquids on the planet. This is due to the obvious dangers of acquiring the venom, the rarity of the specimens and the medical uses of parts of the venom. In fact, Some of the toxins are immunosuppressants which are chemicals that suppress the immune system. These can help in diseases where the immune system is not functioning as it should and in the right doses, Scorpion venom toxins can help treat diseases such as multiple sclerosis. Interestingly scorpions are not prone to using their venom and would much rather catch prey with their claws due to the difficulty in creating it. However They will use the venom to escape larger predators and various situations they cannot flee from. Though often painful, scorpion bites are rarely fatal and many antivenoms have been made for the various types of scorpions in the United States alone. 9: GHB Known scientifically as Gamma Hydroxybutyric Acid, and non-scientifically as the ´Date Rape drug, GHB is a very interesting drug. As a drug it is a depressant, and therefore dampens the central nervous system. At $660 per litre, legitimate uses for GHB include treatment for narcolepsy, alcoholism and cataplexy. It is used illegitimately and most famously as a drug that especially when mixed with alcohol can cause rapid intoxication and sedation. Side-effects can even include memory loss after use. The rapid intoxication effects are sometimes used by teenagers for a powerful high, and users describe it having a salty or soapy taste. 8: Mercury This amazing liquid metal is also known as quicksilver and before its toxicity became widely feared, it was used in many device

1. Steel gratings differ in their specifications to achieve certain results like to bear higher weights, provide better grip and last longer in extreme conditions. 2. The many possibilities of choices to achieve such results include variations in several features, such as a. Material, b. Bearing bar type, c. Bearing bar height & thickness, d. Bearing bar pitch, e. Cross bar pitch, and f. Type of finish. 3. Material: Though gratings can be made using metals, alloys, concrete, wood and other materials, the most common types are Mild steel gratings, and Stainless steel gratings. Choosing the right material for the right application is essential. For ex. Stainless steel gratings are ideal for use in exteriors or highly corrosive settings. 4. Bearing Bar Type: The bearing bar is the part of a grating that bears the main load of any object on its surface. These bars can be either Plain bearing bars, or Serrated bearing bars. Serrated bearing bars provide better grip than the plain types and help prevent many accidents at the workplace. 5. Bearing bar height and thickness: The amount of weight a grating can bear depends a great deal on the height and thickness of the bearing bars. 6. Bearing bar pitch: The pitch is the distance between two parallel bearing bars. Setting the bearing bars too far apart could make the grates weak and lowers its load bearing capacity. 7. Cross bar pitch and diameter: The thickness and distance between the cross bars also affect the strength of a grating. The thicker and closely placed the cross bars are, the better the strength of the grate. A tire (American English) or tyre (British English; see spelling differences) is a ring-shaped vehicle component that covers the wheel's rim to protect it and enable better vehicle performance. Most tires, such as those for automobiles and bicycles, provide traction between the vehicle and the road while providing a flexible cushion that absorbs shock. The materials of modern pneumatic tires are synthetic rubber, natural rubber, fabric and wire, along with carbon black and other chemical compounds. They consist of a tread and a body. The tread provides traction while the body provides containment for a quantity of compressed air. Before rubber was developed, the first versions of tires were simply bands of metal fitted around wooden wheels to prevent wear and tear. Early rubber tires were solid (not pneumatic). Today, the majority of tires are pneumatic inflatable structures, comprising a doughnut-shaped body of cords and wires encased in rubber and generally filled with compressed air to form an inflatable cushion. Pneumatic tires are used on many types of vehicles, including cars, bicycles, motorcycles, buses, trucks, heavy equipment, and aircraft. Metal tires are still used on locomotives and railcars, and solid rubber (or other polymer) tires are still used in various non-automotive applications, such as some casters, carts, lawnmowers, and wheelbarrows.

Never stops to amaze me how one or two people get a band together and deliver an amazing work of pure metal art. Echoes of Battle is one of those albums that you just can’t chose one special track, all is fused together into a gigantic far away travel of musical melodies and sounds of faraway battles in distant lands. Extremely melodic with plenty of keyboards guiding the background guitars across the classical epic metal songs, Caladan Brood are not afraid to deviate into unknown places to black metal bands, not only with moments scattered across the long tunes, but also on songs like “Book Of The Fallen”, where you can get the depth that the song writing for this masterpiece has gotten into. Grab your headphones, sit down and close your eyes. Hit the play button and enjoy. Wallpaper by Adam T. Original Art by Albert Bierstadt
