Here Vic Edelbrock speaks with Matt Sweeting from Power Brake TV about his E-STREET Fuel Injection. It is meant for older or formally carbureted applications, and is a cheaper alternative to the Manifold and Fuel Rail Assembly that will also give your classic, EFI. It is closer to bolt on than the manifold EFI that injects the fuel at the port. It gives you performance and mileage. The ECU is made by EFI Technology. The system has a wireless touchscreen that allows you to final tune your power curve. Edelbrock also allows you to choose your own fuel line kit, but of course he has one available for it. Vic says that they are not making the unit in larger sizes, because they have much better options for that. Here Vic Edelbrock speaks with Matt Sweeting from Power Brake TV about his E-Force Superchargers. It was originally for the corvettes, but demand from enthusiasts has encouraged him to make the kits for the Camaro SS, Chrysler Hemi, Z06, Ford F150, Navigator, the 5.0 Mustang, and Mustang GT. During 2012 they will be developing it for the GM truck engines. The low position of the blower takes the sharp bends out of the manifold, which helps with flow into the head, lowers the sound/ whine and the intake runner length is optimal for low end torque. The integrated bypass valve that it has allows for unchanged gas mileage under normal conditions, and the unit can improve mileage overall, depending on how you drive it. Vic said that he observed 26 mpg in his Z06 on the Power Tour, which is great for a 150 horse power increase. Vic suggest that it be installed by a professional, it is bolt in (as in it doesn't require changes to the compression ratio, or any other major changes to the engine), but there is a download to your computer system, and it is an advanced install. All that is fine when you consider that the unit does not alter your cars warranty, and is further warrantied by Edelbrock. Edelbrock superchargers are engineered for performance with little drawback, you get huge gains, and mileage is barely affected if you keep a light foot. The unit is street-legal and fits under the factory hood. Mark Stielow has been building some of the baddest first-generation Camaros for years, and the latest (called "Mayhem") is another excellent example. This time, he used a 1967 Camaro, and added a wide assortment of cutting-edge tech to make it perform. Goodies include a Brian Thompson built LS7 V8 topped with an LS9 supercharger, Detroit Speed suspension, and more tricks than a stage full of magicians. The result is an 850+ HP street / track car that was built to win.
