Like a lot of big event books it’s hard to really make any judgments after the first issue. One thing that did surprise me though, was that a lot of people died. Nightcrawler, beast, Wasp, maybe Johnny, Sue and Doctor Storm, and a lot of people all around the world. That is a big chance to take in a universe. I mean they killed off almost half of their characters. If the storms are really dead how can the fantastic four title really go on? It’s not the fantastic duo or “Stretcho and Thing” save the world. There will always be new X-Men to fill out the roster but those were a couple of very significant characters to kill off so non chelauntly. This is looking to be a big deal and the question of will how they are going to move forward with the ultimate universe is reason enough alone to stick with it. The art is great in this book and the image of Magneto witting on his thrown in genohsa that we’ve seen plastered all over the books the last few weeks is incredibly powerful and gallery worthy. I’m curious though why he has a big old school thor hammer next to him. The tag line at the end of this issue is “Next: It gets worse. That I’m interested to see because things are pretty bad as it is. Distributed by Tubemogul.

In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-MEN.
Classic Game Room reviews MARVEL SUPER HEROES for Sega Saturn by Capcom from 1997. Based on the 1995 arcade machine, Marvel Super Heroes is a one or two player 2D style fighting game with Marvel characters such as Wolverine, Captain America, Psylocke, The Hulk and Magneto. Each character has a storyline and fights through the videogame to the end boss. The plots are loosely based on Infinity Gauntlet as characters fight for Infinity Gems which can be used as short term power ups to give you an edge in battle.
X-Men HyperScan review! *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Classic Game Room reviews X-MEN for the Mattel HyperScan from 2006, one of the worst fighting games ever created! Grab your HyperScan cards, scan them until they work, wait five hours for loading and fight!!!! Collect cards for the HyperScan in booster packs and play as X-Men and super villains like Wolverine, Jean Grey, Magneto and more! This one and two player 2D fighting game has awful controls and feels like it was made for 2-year olds. Hammer one of the four buttons on the HyperScan controller over and over again to win matches and laugh at the hilarious dialog. X-Men is the game that was packed in with the HyperScan game console and demonstrates the power (or lack thereof) contained with the mighty HyperScan. Collect cards, scan and save your stats on the cards (like Sylanders), the HyperScan may have been a neat idea but suffers from terrible execution, horrendous loading times and lousy games like X-Men.

This is a good story and a positive turn for the Nightwing title. It gets him back on the streets where he belongs, dealing with criminals and not mad scientists. So, in this one Two Face has contacted Nightwing and asked him to watch over a DA that was a friend of his back in the Harvey Dent days. There are a couple of attempts on the woman’s life and some daring rescues that all make for great action and some sweet panels. She is testifying, Harvey tells us, against a quote un quote powerful individual and could destabilize some people who would rather remain stable, but we don’t know who. What I’m waiting for, is this guy to be Two Face. It plays perfectly into his duality and the stories we usually witness. It is a great twist, even if it is an obvious one, and would really add some meat to Two Face’s psychosis. Even though this bears the RIP logo the only relevance it has is Nightwing mentioning that Batman was busy with Black Glove. The best thing about this book is that it gives hope to the title and finally brings a good story back to Nightwing.
