Nintendo World Store’s Super Mario figurine set review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the Nintendo World Store’s Super Mario figurine set. Check out this beautiful set of Super Mario figurines exclusively from the Nintendo World Store! Featuring the Mushroom Kingdom’s fabulous five-some of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi and Toad, this set of Nintendo collectibles is one of the finest on the market. Classic Game Room’s Derek bought them during a visit to the Nintendo World Store in New York City, which is centrally located in Rockefeller Center. Each toy is beautifully designed and manufactured, with excellent paint jobs and plastic quality. Even the tiniest details are accounted for, from Peach’s eyelashes to the textures of Toad’s tiny mushroom hands! We think this set of five figurines is available exclusively at the Nintendo World Store, but with the Internet and all, who can really be sure? One thing is certain, though. If you’re a Nintendo fan or collector, this set is certainly worth seeking out. This video review features video footage of the Nintendo World Store’s Super Mario figurine set and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Mario Pinball Land review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Mario Pinball Land for the Game Boy Advance developed by Fuse Games and published by Nintendo. Think flying turtles are strange? Well, apparently, the Mushroom Kingdom also has a machine that can turn people into pinballs. That's strange, and that's Mario Pinball Land. Released in 2004, the game comes from the developer of Metroid Prime Pinball. Peach has been kidnapped, per usual, and it's up to Mario to save her. Only this time, he's a pinball. Mario Pinball Land is heavily inspired by Super Mario 64, featuring enemies and game elements pulled directly from the Nintendo 64 classic. Mario must clear pinball tables to collect stars, which unlocks doors to new pinball tables. Each world is filled with several connected tables, which players must navigate one by one. The tables are filled with enemies, and unlock most pinball games, are contained entirely on a single screen without scrolling. These small play windows ensure the ricocheting Mario rolls fast, so players must be careful not to drop him to a prior table. Play pinball with Petey Piranha, Monty Mole and all your favorite Koopa villains in Mario Pinball Land. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mario Pinball Land for the Game Boy Advance and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Paper Mario, published by Nintendo for the N64. Back when Square and Nintendo weren't getting along, there were few RPGs for the Nintendo 64... until the House of Mario flattened their heroic plumber. With his jumping prowess, a big ol' mallet, and some friends picked up along the way, the Man in Red (and blue overalls) searches the Mushroom Kingdom to find the Seven Stars key to defeating Bowser and saving the Princess for the umpteenth time. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Paper Mario for the N64 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Robo Rush review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Robo Rush from Triniti Interactive for the iPhone. Robo Rush is a traditional 2D platformer with very obvious influences. If you put the characters and locales of WALL*E into the levels of Super Mario Bros. with the silhouette graphics of Donkey Kong Country Returns, you'd get Robo Rush. It sounds awesome, and that's because it is. Robo Rush often uses exact level layouts from Nintendo's groundbreaking NES classic, not to mention a few familiar items and foes. As pretty as the style is, its real brilliance is in the contrast to the source material. The dark, industrial worlds of Robo Rush are something you'd never see within the borders of the Mushroom Kingdom, and that makes the game even more interesting. This video review features video gameplay footage of Robo Rush for the iPhone and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, an RPG developed by Alphadream and published in 2003 by Sega for the GBA. Leaving the comfort of the Mushroom Kingdom Kingdom behind, the intrepid brother venture into the Beanbean Kingdom, which is exactly what it sounds like. And, of course, they can't just have a peaceful time; no, Peach's voice gets stolen and they have to track it down. But this isn't just any adventure, oh no: It's a whole new sort of RPG adventure with a bifurcated control scheme! One button for Mario, one for Luigi. Simple, right? This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for the GBA and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Mega Man 3 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mega Man 3 from Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Released to the NES in 1990, Mega Man 3 showed a developer at the top of their game. Mega Man 3 is an action platformer with the same foundation as its two predecessors. Dr. Wily has eight new bosses for you to defeat, and the order in which you do so is entirely up to you. Add some reflex testing action sequences and the best platforming this side of the Mushroom Kingdom, and you have the basic Mega Man template. But there are a few things that make Mega Man 3 so special. One, all the gameplay tweaks, and two, the clear inspiration that went into its design. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mega Man 3 for the Nintendo Entertainment System and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.

Mario Party-e review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mario Party-e from Nintendo for the e-Reader attachment for the Game Boy Advance. Mario Party-e was sent to Classic Game Room by a kind viewer from Canada. Unfortunately, we don't have an e-Reader because no one has a freaking e-Reader. But thankfully, Mario Party-e can be played without one. Kind of. Watch Derek and TJ from Classic Game Room try to figure out this surprisingly complex card game and fail miserably at doing so. Mario, Luigi, Peach and the whole Mushroom Kingdom gang are here! But they're a lot more fun with controllers. This video review features video footage of Mario Party-e for the e-Reader and commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek and TJ.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mario Kart: Double Dash!! from Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube. If you've raced through the Mushroom Kingdom before, the core principles of Double Dash!! should be familiar. Playing as some of the most beloved characters in video games, you race on a series of outrageously designed tracks in go-karts, using items like Koopa shells and banana peels to gain the advantage on your opponents. There are three speeds to choose from, four Cups to win — it's a blueprint that has inspired both sequels and imitators, and that's because it works. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mario Kart: Double Dash!! for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
