With their greatest hits from 1993 & 1994: Slave to the music - Is it love - Take me away - Leave them alone
Twenty 4 Seven is a Eurodance and Hip House act, created by Dutch producer Ruud Van Rijen in 1989. Other members of the group were rapper Stacey Paton (Stay-C), and female vocalist Nance Coolen. The combination of male rap and female choruses was the main recipe for their success. The project remained dormant until 1993, when Stay-C (born Stacey Paton) joined the group. He played the role of the rapper as well as an additional role of the co-producer. In the late summer of 1993, Slave to the Music, was launched. It charted well in most European countries, being the first dance record to go platinum in the newly independent Czech Republic. The following singles, Is It Love and Take Me Away, peaked at #5 in Israel. By now, the group were famous worldwide, with the exception of America and the UK. They even played live in South Africa. The single Leave Me Alone included a Greatest Hits Megamix. "Slave To The Music" and "Is It Love" were their only hits in Australia, where both songs reached the Top 5 on the Australian music charts.
Although they were contracted until 1996, the group remained largely silent throughout the next two years. Nance then declared that the group had practically split due to personal issues. In 2000, plans to release a new album in the classical formula, with Stay-C and Nance, were rumoured in the press, but never eventuated.
George Harvey Strait (born May 18, 1952) is a Grammy Award-winning American country music singer. Strait is referred to as the "King of Country," and critics call Strait a living legend. He is known for his unique style of western swing music, bar-room ballads, honky-tonk style, and fresh yet traditional country western music. Strait rocketed to success after his debut single "Unwound" in 1981. While contributing to the neo-traditional movement of the 1980s, he amassed 18 number one singles and seven number one albums in the decade with hits such as "Fool Hearted Memory" and "Ocean Front Property." By the 1990s, Strait had influenced a new breed of performers while continuing his own successes with 17 number one hits including "Heartland" and "Blue Clear Sky." The next decade for which he was named Artist Of The Decade by the ACM, he was elected into the Country Music Hall of Fame and won his first Grammy award for his hit album Troubadour. Strait continued his previous successes during this time, producing a more contemporary sound with moderate cross-over hits including "She'll Leave You with a Smile" and "You'll Be There." Strait won CMA Entertainer of the year in 1989 and 1990 and ACM Entertainer of the year in 1990. He has been nominated for more CMA and ACM awards and has more wins in both categories than any other artist. As of 2009, he holds the record for the most Number One hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts with 44 number one singles on that chart. Counting all other music charts, Strait has amassed a total of 57 number one hits overall, breaking a record previously set by Conway Twitty. Strait's 38 hit albums multi platinum, 22 platinum and four gold) rank him behind only Elvis Presley and The Beatles. The RIAA has certified his albums at 68× platinum, denoting shipments of 58.5 million in the United States. His best-selling album is Pure Country (1992), which sold 6 million (6× Multi-platinum). His highest certified album is Strait Out of the Box (1995), which sold 2 million copies (8× Multi-Platinum due to being a box set with four CDs). According to the RIAA, Strait is the tenth best-selling recording artist in the United States overall.
Original 1976 full lenght version
D.C. LaRue (born David Charles L'Heureux on April 26, 1948 in Meriden, Connecticut, U.S.A.) was a Disco artist His music was successful in dance/disco clubs and on dance music charts worldwide during the late 70s and early 80s.
His first big hit happened in 1976 and was titled "Cathedrals". With its release on Pyramid Records D.C. proved he could write, sing, produce and perform like a true veteran. LaRue's 1976 "Cathedrals" 12" 45 RPM caused an immediate sensation in the disco/dance clubs through out the world. D.C. was the first white male to ever hold the #1 R&B/Soul chart position in England. "Cathedrals" was the first commercially available 12" disco single in the USA and the only 12" single to be charted on Billboard Magazine's Top 100 Singles chart before or since.
In less than a year he began work on his second album "The Tea Dance." The 1976 recording featured such notable background singers as Lani Groves and Sharon Redd. It also included a duet with legendary 1960's rock/pop icon Lou Christie. The stand out cuts included the 12" of "Face Of Love," "Overture" and "Don't Keep It In The Shadows." The album presented itself was a concept capturing the essence and feel of a Broadway show. LaRue's "Cathedrals" album sold over 100,000 copies in its first three weeks of release but "The Tea Dance" more than doubled that sales figure and over the course of its life and became a bigger hit.
About the extended break on the 12" re-mix of "Indiscreet" from "The Tea Dance" rapper Grandmaster Flash is quoted as saying "It was first Hip Hop break I heard...the start of all the Hip Hop and Rap to come!"
1977 brought limited personal appearances, signing a deal for a cameo movie role and putting the finishing touches on several tracks for his third album "Confessions." He changed labels because of a new distribution agreement between Pyramid Productions and Casablanca Records. As part of the deal he was asked to provide two tracks for the Casablanca Filmworks movie "Thank God It's Friday."
1978 began with the release of the soundtrack album for Thank God It's Friday which included D.C.'s track "Do You Want The Real Thing?" That year also saw the spectacular success of his third album "Confessions." The release of the 12" remix of its "Let Them Dance" track propelled the album to gold status over night and garnered him numerous disco/dance awards through out the world.
LaRue's movie debut was a cameo in the Bee Gee's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. D.C. also appeared in the Village People film "Can't Stop The Music." (1980)
In 1979 he released "Forces Of the Night." It featured the 12" single "Hot Jungle Drums And Voodoo Rhythm" as well as duets with Rita Moreno (Hollywood actress/Broadway hoofer) on "Have A Good Time" and Michelle Aller (the beautiful voice on Cerrone's "Call Me Tonight") on "On With The Dance."
As the decade ended D.C. released his final vinyl output. 1981's "Star Baby" retained the spark and ingenuity that had been prevailent in his earlier releases but with the disco area coming to an end it was sadly overlooked. It did however feature yet another exciting duet with Lou Christie ("Into The Ozone") and the 12" release of "So Much For L.A." garnered quite a bit of positive club reaction. It was the first ever double sided Casablanca Records 12" single with the flipside being the track "Boys Can't Fake It."
As the disco-era ended D.C. turned to other interests; most notably his love of photography and graphic designing.
Recently (2006) his classic recording of "Cathedrals" was sampled in England (3AM/Bobby Blaco & Miki Moto)and it turned into an internationally successful dance hit all over again. His music continues to live on. Not only are his recordings the perfect reflection of a Disco era gone by but an example of an art that is just as relevant today.
The editors of GQ Magazine voted LaRue one of the 6 creative artist who would epitimize "success in the decades ahead."

Cleopatra Stratan - 3 Year Old Romanian Child Star.Cleopatra Stratan, the 3 year old who has hit the Romanian music charts big, seems to have become famous because her childlike singing and childlike charms are something different . . . she has not been made into a miniature adult or been thrust into the latest gore-ridden horror flick. In Eastern Europe, children are still children and generally must be protected as such; Cleopatra's father has refused monetary offers to market her. With her oversized suitcase, pink plastic sunglasses, and disheveled pigtails, Cleopatra is singing an innocuous song about a missing person named Ghita, who could be her big brother, uncle, or friend - no innuendos here. Even though it's obvious her voice has been engineered to a certain extent, she's still adorable.

Martin David Robinson (September 26, 1925 December 8, 1982) was an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. One of the most popular and successful American country and western singers of his era, Robbins' songs were often eclectic, touching notably on an array of world music. For most of his nearly four decade career, Robbins was rarely far from the country music charts, and several of his songs also became pop hits.
Robbins was born in Glendale, Arizona. He left home at the age of seventeen to serve in the United States Navy during World War II. He was stationed in the Solomon Islands in the Pacific. To pass the time during the war, he learned to play the guitar, started writing songs, and came to love Hawaiian music.
After his discharge from the military in 1945, he began to play at local venues in Phoenix, then moved on to host his own radio station show on KTYL. He thereafter had his own television (TV) show on KPHO in Phoenix. After Little Jimmy Dickens made a guest appearance on Robbins' TV show, Dickens got Robbins a record deal with Columbia Records. Robbins became an immensely popular singing star at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. He was especially known for his kindness toward his many fans.
In 1948, Robbins married the former Marizona Baldwin (September 11, 1930 - July 10, 2001) to whom he dedicated his song "My Woman, My Woman, My Wife'". They had two children, a son Ronny (born 1949) and daughter Janet (born 1959), who also followed a singing career in Los Angeles.
His musical accomplishments include the first Grammy Award ever awarded for a country song, for his 1959 hit and signature song "El Paso", taken from his album Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs. "El Paso" was the first song to hit #1 on the pop chart in the 1960s. It was followed up, successfully, by "Don't Worry", which reached #3 on the pop chart in 1961, becoming his third, and last, Top 10 hit. "El Paso" was followed by two sequels: "Faleena" and "El Paso City", both of which continued the story featured in the original song.
He won the Grammy Award for the Best Country & Western Recording 1961, for his follow-up album More Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs, and was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Country Song in 1970, for "My Woman, My Woman, My Wife." Robbins was named "Artist of the Decade" (1960-69) by the Academy of Country Music, was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1982, and was given a Grammy Hall of Fame Award in 1998 for his song "El Paso".
Robbins was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1975. For his contribution to the recording industry, Robbins has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6666 Hollywood Blvd.
Robbins performed and recorded several songs written by longtime songwriter Coleman Harwell, most notably "Thanks but No Thanks" in 1964; Robbins and his producers employed the top sessions musicians and singers including the Jordanaires to record Harwell's songs. Harwell is the nephew of former Tennessean newspaper Editor Coleman Harwell.
When Marty Robbins was recording his 1961 hit "Don't Worry", session guitarist Grady Martin accidentally created a fuzz effect during the session. This came about because of a faulty channel in the console where Martin's guitar was plugged in. The effect was left in the recording and this is rumored to be the birth of the fuzz guitar. The song made position 1 one on the country charts and position 3 on the pop charts.
