SUNEETA RAO’s LATEST ALBUM “WAQT” Is dedicated to girl child Suneeta Rao, the “Pari of Pop”, is back with her latest album, “WAQT” released by Crescendo. The singer is the official spokesperson of the Laadli campaign of UNFPA that focuses on the pleasure and pride of having a daughter and motivates people to fight injustice against the girl child. 'The video of the first song in my album 'Sun Zara' is a dedication to all girls, Suneeta said, UNFPA has greatly supported in making the video of this album. According to United Nations Population Fund, “This video has been made for the Girl Child, to address the issue of Sex Selection and to help stop female feticide”. This is Suneeta’s fifth solo album, consisting of 8 tunes, which she describes as raga – based contemporary songs. All of them are written by Suneeta, with arrangements by NEXUS, consisting of Gino Banks, Sangeet Haldipur and Sheldon D’Silva, plus three tracks arranged by DJ Gaurav Issar. “Sun Zara”, a song for the Girl Child is the first video track in the album. This up tempo and racy song is an appeal to women, to stop the practice of sex selection. It has been supported by UNFPA, and the video has been shot by Jason West and directed by Rachel Reuben. It stars Suneeta along with the actress Suchitra Pillai and will be seen on air this month. The title song, “Waqt”, features the legendary drummer Lenny White and has Carnatic music influences. There is also a Punjabi dance tune with a bump and grind groove that will appeal to all ages. The breezy “Ye Dooriyan” has a hypnotic, lounge feel, while “Lage More Nain” is a soaring ballad inspired by a “Thumri”, about love and longing. The groovy “Aaj Mohe” and peppy “Ye Zameen” are sure to bring the club going crowd to the dance floor. The lyrics can be seen on Suneeta’s official website – www.suneetarao**** Website of UNFPA is www.unfpa**** H.S.COMMUNICATION

Pehli Mulaqat’ by Esbee Meet the real Mr.’Rock On’ Pehli Mulaqat is Saregama India Ltd.’s one of the most ambitious project ever, launching Esbee as the Real Mr.’Rock On’ Star!!Sital Banerjee aka Esbee is today one of those few fortunate artist who actually see their passion taking shape and their dreams coming true…. Eventually similar to the character of Farhan Akhtar in Rock On. Currently, a global media director working with Phillips, in recent years felt the constant urage from within to return to his first love, his passion…..Music. because true passion never dies. Pehli Mulaqat , his debut albumis a compilation of his ‘guru’ the legendary singer Kishor Kumar’s song presented with a completely modern arrangement and style while keeping the soul of the songs, intact. This music has been recreated by Dhiren Raichura. A ‘must Listen’ compilation for lover of music across all ages, which is a conscious effort. The global-trotter that he is ,esbee has picked up musical up musical influences from worldover and woven them together in this album. So if the classic EK Ladki Bheegi si has been redone in contemporary rock style,, the romantic Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai has blissfully lazy Cuban/Bossanova music influences while thetitle song Aaj unse Pehli Mulaqat Hogi has been dressed in truly Arabic music with the use of use of live Arabic instrument and Arabic musician. The album is great and will really be liked by the listerner. H.S.COMMUNICATION

Shrradha Pandit singer, lyricist and composer releases her debut album Teri Heer October 7, 2008: Whilst there have been a plethora of singers who release their solo albums, here is one who is refreshingly and daringly different. All of 24, Shrradha Pandit, a hugely talented singer, has now released her debut album Teri Heer for which she has not just sung but also written the lyrics and composed each song! This is quite a rarity. Teri Heer is a brilliant and interesting album that combines Sufi and Indian Fusion genres. The album has been released on SONY BMG. Teri Heer is a blend of Indian melody and contemporary orchestration with all the eight tracks enhanced by the emotions of a young heart. It showcases a young womans feelings towards love, which she is eager to express without any hesitation akin to the epic love story of Heer and Ranjha. Musical influences in the album include folk music especially from the north of India as well as the essence of Sufism and some Hindustani classical (especially in vocals). Hitherto only having excelled as a singer, Shrradha tries her hand for the first time at composing for this album and comes away with stupendous results. She has attempted to cover all styles such as folk, classical, Bollywood with a tinge of western music. This sound is uniquely her own rich and soulful with a variety of textures. The album is supported by a great music video for the lead track Teri Heer. It has been directed by Samir Hafiz and features Shrradha in the video. Shrradha Pandit hails from a prestigious household of classical music powerhouses, also known as Indias Mewati Gharana of music. Shes learnt Hindustani Classical Music from her late grandfather and guru, the renowned Sangeet Acharya Pandit Pratap Narayanji. She now trains under the guidance of her father Shri Vishwaraj Pandit who is a renowned tabla player himself. Armed with a Philosophy (B.A. honours) in first class, this talented singer is a professional playback singer and live performer who has also been singing in films, and featuring in private pop albums, devotional albums, concerts and shows. Her film playback experience spans such hits as Khamoshi-The Musical, Sangharsh, Khoobsurat, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai, Soch and Raju Chacha, among many others. She has had the privilege of working with such commercially successful and talented greats like A.R. Rehman, Sonu Nigam, Shaan and Sukhwinder across the globe. Now on the brink of launching her debut album called Teri Heer from SONY BMG, this dynamite package of brains, talent and looks is posed on the verge of super stardom. H.S.Communication.

Acoustic Compilation CD available to buy from Website. *******www.TheZodiacSessions**** *******www.myspace****/thezodiacsessions *******www.youtube****/thezodiacsessions *******www.bebo****/thezodiacsessions Moebius playing "Blacksheep Of The Family" at The Zodiac Sessions singer / songwriter night held in Bruxelles bar of Dublin, every Wednesday night. MOEBIUS Beginning life as a three piece outfit in 2006, Irish Indie/Rock band, Moebius, have evolved into a quintet and have just finished recording their debut album, IF IT AIN’T HARD IT AIN’T WORTH DOIN To date the band have built their own recording studio, independently released 3 EP’s, 2 IRMA charted singles and have had two music videos produced. The band consist of the enigmatic lead singer and front man Michael Joyce, guitarist Paul Farrell, bassist Dave Connelly, drummer Pawel Bebenca and keys/programmer Keith Gamble. Like most bands today, the boys have wide and varied musical influences, ranging from The Who and The Stone Roses, to DJ Shadow and The Specials. Each band member has tried to contribute from their own personal influences to mould the Moebius sound, which we believe has International appeal. Displaying that old punk ethos of D.I.Y., the band relocated to Poland this year and self financed the production of the album and have worked with Marcin Limek and Piotr Matysiak, two established and respected Polish music producers. Recorded in the Nintysixproject Studios, the band have crafted an album that has intensity, aggressiveness and attitude, while in equal measure lilts into more melodic, melancholic and upbeat moments. Since returning from recording the album in Poland, Moebius have been rehearsing the new material from the album and have played some notable gigs, including the very first PKO BP Festival held at Wembley Arena in September 2008. Other notable highlights for the band were appearances at both Castlepalooza and Cork Fringe Festivals in Ireland '08 as well as all the top venues in Dublin City to their ever increasing loyal fan base. *******www.myspace****/moebius3
