AYIM can be easily downloaded for your Nintendo Wii and packs 2D side scroller puzzle videogame challenge for fans of the genre. And Yet It Moves for Nintendo Wii from Wiiware channel is a cool, eerie game that defies ordinary and may appear to indie platformer fans looking for something cool and new. Classic Game Room reviews TANGLED the video game from Disney based on Tangled the animated 3D movie based on Rapunzel the fairy tale. Tangled the videogame for Nintendo Wii is a standard E for everyone rated kids game aimed at fans of Tangled the film. This CGR review of Tangled from Planet Moon Studios has gameplay from Disney Tangled the videogame on Nintendo Wii showing Tangled gameplay using standard Nintendo Wii controls with Wiimote and Nunchuk controllers. If you get stuck at a level where you can't get Flynn back to Rapunzel make sure to look around the let down Rapunzel's hair near the tree stump! It got me every time... I tried to use a flamethrower but it isn't in the game...
Classic Game Room reviews MY AQUARIUM 2 for Nintendo Wii from Hudson. This aqauarium simulator is downloadable WiiWare from the Nintendo Wii Shop Channel and can be had for 500 points (at the time of this review). A wide variety of exotic fish can be dropped into fish tanks that you design with improved fishtank design tools. Aside from some new fish and a few new items little has changed from the first My Aquarium, but fans will find new challenges in trying to breed fish and unlock a variety of new species. This CGR review of My Aqauarium 2 for Nintendo Wii shows gameplay from WiiWare My Aquarium 2 featuring fishtank sim game play in action.
Classic Game Room's Derek reviews BLOCK PARTY for Nintendo Wii. Move over, Chicken Shoot, and make way, Ninjabread Man. Theres a new contender for the title of worst Wii game of all time, and as the Highlander once said, there can be only one.
Classic Game Room reviews RACQUET SPORTS for Nintendo Wii from Ubisoft. Play a variety of racquet related sports on your Wii using the Wii Motion Plus accessory like tennis, ping pong, badminton, beach tennis and squash. This game also works with the usb Eye control for Nintendo Wii. A direct competitor to Nintendo's own Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, you may find the controls more responsive than most tennis style games on the Wii. This CGR review of Racquet Sports on Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Racquet Sports showing sporting game play in Racket Sports on Wii *spelled wrong. What a racket!! Ubisoft's Racquet Sports is a well made collection of five games all based on the one simple concept of having smooth motion controls on Nintendo Wii without many additional frills.
Classic Game Room reviews MONSTER HUNTER TRI for Nintendo Wii from Capcom. Monster Hunter 3 Tri gameplay is solid and reminiscent of many PS2 adventure games. Played with the Nintendo Wii Classic Controller Pro you'll get solid game play and controls when crushing monsters in Monster Hunter Tri, a massive RPG adventure style game with multiplayer. This gigantic hunter / gatherer adventure won't be found on Playstation 3 PS3 or Xbox 360, Monster Hunter Tri is a Nintendo Wii exclusive title that will keep gamers occupied for days and weeks on end. This CGR review of Monster Hunter 3 Tri on Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Monster Hunter Tri showing Monster Hunter game play on Wii upconverted to HD.
Classic Game Room reviews RED STEEL 2 for Nintendo Wii published by Ubisoft. This first person shooter / sword fighting video game has players mauling waves of future bad-guys with a variety of tactics. Shoot them in the head or cut them into chunks with your katana, the choices are endless! Red Steel 2 for Wii works with the WiiMotion Plus Wii Motion Plus accessory for the Nintendo Wiimote. The swordplay responses are excellent as is the seamless transition into a shooter. Hack away with precision and pull off special moves and comboes. Red Steel 2 is the best sword fighting samurai ninja style game that I've seen on the Wii with a cool visual style and excellent action and weapon modifications. This CGR review of Red Steel 2 for Nintendo Wii has Red Steel 2 gameplay showing Red Steel 2 Wii game play in HD action.
Classic Game Room reviews BITTOS for Nintendo Wii, a downloadable game from WiiWare (technically called Bittos+ ). This is a catchy puzzle game which requires some getting used to but packs some unique challenge that separates it from other puzzle games like Tetris and Columns. Make bittos (or bits) blocks of more than 4 square things to score points and keep a multiplier going full speed ahead. This CGR review of Bittos for Nintendo Wii has gameplay from Bittos+ showing Bittos + puzzle gameplay game play in action from Nintendo Wii.
Classic Game Room reviews MY AQUARIUM for the Nintendo Wii video game console. This review of WiiWare has gameplay and footage of My Aquarium, called Blue Ocean in Japan. See the fish list and learn about unlockable fish and items. How do you unlock fish in My Aquarium, what are the conditions to be met to unlock fish in My Aquarium? These are questions you'll have to learn by playing this game. My Aquarium from Hudson was released in 2008 and is a virtual aquarium fish tank. Released on the Nintendo VC Virtual Console this game is more of a background kind of game that you check up on every day and feed the fish, see how they're doing and so on. You can't slaughter the fish like you can in Seaman on the Sega Dreamcast (now that was a good game!) This is a cool game for kids and CGRHD gives My Aquarium a good review in that context; it isn't reviewed as highly for those of you who want to slaughter hordes of enemies with laser guns. We direct you to Gears or Resistance for that. If you like fish but don't want to clean up their mess try My Aquarium from Nintendo Wii Virtual Console Wiiware. CGRHD reviews Nintendo Wii games and is a WiiWare reviewer.
Classic Game Room reviews the NINTENDO Wii video game console! The Wii could be Nintendo's best console since the original NES Nintendo Entertainment System. The Wii is a revolutionary gaming system and this Wii review shows what makes the Wii special vs. the PS3 and the Xbox 360. Is the Wii for you, would you rather play Wii fit or shoot things with massive laser cannons in HDTV graphics? The Wii may not be hi-def but it is hi-tech (owwww, that sucked!) and has a really unique controller that uses motion sensing technology and a nunchuk to make actions happen on the screen. The Wii is marketed as a unique social gaming console with a more family appropriate array of games. It gets you up off the couch (if you want that... boo standing!) and can have you dacing around the room playing games like Wii Sports Bowling, Golf and Far Cry Vengeance. This is a unique CGR review of the Wii not seen anywhere else, where Classic Game Room pours 30+ years of gaming experience over the Wii. Does the system have what it takes to be successful (it already is), will the Wii sell out in stores (yes), will the Wii dominate the universe in a way not seen since the Atari 2600??? With the unique controller, Nintendo proprietary games like Mario Cart, Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Metroid Prime 3 Corruption one could say the Wii has a chance... Wii vs. PS3 vs. Xbox 360. Bring it on into Classic Game Room stadium!
