VAULT is a documentary filmmaking project, giving young people from across the 5 Olympic boroughs the opportunity to produce a series of short films that explore the Olympics and what it takes to be an Olympic athlete.
If you are selected to take part in the project, you will be given professional film training ranging from narrative development, filming, to sound recording and editing - enabling you to be involved in the entire film-making process.
In 2009, the VAULT films explored life surrounding the Olympic Games past and present, with participation from 1948 Olympic veterans and hopeful British athletes currently training to compete at the London Olympics in 2012.
Many Of the VAULT filmmakers from 2009 have gone on to other projects including three who went on to win a Creativity, Culture and Education (CCE) media bursary; offered to just 18 young people throughout England. This Could Be You!
