Classic Game Room HD reviews THE KING OF FIGHTERS XII for Playstation 3, also on Xbox 360 as well as PS3. The King of Fighters series celebrates its 15th anniversary this year with the release of The King of Fighters 12 on PS3 and Xbox 360. 22 playable characters, about a half dozen environments and completely redrawn hand drawn 2D animation. The visuals are incredible, the fighting is fast and easy to get into, the online is choppy and sluggish. As long as you enjoy the single player mode or playing with a friend in the same room you'll dig this game (if you dig good fighting games). This CGRHD review of The King of Fighters XII has gameplay from The King of Fighters 12 on PS3 showing game play in action on this fighting video game from SNK / Playmore. Fans of 2D side scrolling / fighting video game should enjoy the reworked old school arcade style of KOF 12 and the breathtaking HD visual presentation. Controls are excellent and loading times are quick, aside from a laggy online experience this is a cool game to check out.

Classic Game Room reviews THE KING OF FIGHTERS '98 ULTIMATE MATCH for the Playstation 2 PS2 video game console. From SNK/Playmore and published by Ignition, this 2009release is the first time that KOF '98 is seen on the PS2. This KOF 98 review has gameplay footage from King of Fighters 98. Watch CGR kick ass (actually, it's the other way around) with dozens of fighters from SNK fighting games. KOF '98 is an awesome 2D fighting game and this 2-disc set has 2 versions of the game, the arcade version and the NEO-GEO ROM version. The 2nd disc has trailers and wallpapers. If you enjoy 2D games like Street Fighter 2 from Capcom, you'll live this massive King of Fighters game. Multiple gameplay modes and difficulty settings, as well as 1 player and 2 player combat, give King of Fighters '98 on the PS2 unlimited replay value. CGRHD thinks that this game is an excellent value for the price and enjoys seeing new releases on the PS2!

The King of Fighters XIII review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of The King of Fighters XIII for XBox Live Arcade (indie channel). It's, like, one louder than XII. Which is good, because XII soured lots of people on the whole King of Fighters concept. But it's back, baby, with the same bajillion years of backstory, the same awesome franchise characters, the same ridiculously overpowered bosses. It's SNK, what do you want? Featuring a new micro-achievement system and the triumphant return of Story Mode (even if you need a Neverending-Story-esque binge just to get caught up anymore), KOF the XIIIth rights itself on the path of JUSTICE and BUTTKICKING. This video review features video gameplay footage of The King of Fighters XIII for XBox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

The King of Fighters XII Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of The King of Fighters XII, a 2D fighting game developed and published in 2009 by SNK Playmore for the XBox 360 and PS3. You'd think after the establishment of a series in 11 (plus) prior installments, they'd have their core gameplay down pat. But along comes a rogue, who does away with the standard Arcade mode (as well as any other significant extras the game could've offered) and instead installs a time-trial competition completely devoid of story or motivation. Sure, you don't really need much for most Fighting games, but c'mon. At least make a token effort. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of The King of Fighters XII for the XBox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

The King of Fighters XI Review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of The King of Fighters XI, a 2D Fighter developed and published in 2007 by SNK Playmore for the PlayStation 2. Not many series get all the way up to an 11th installment. Never mind all of the Arts of Fightings, Fatal Furies, and other side-series that get wrapped up in this King of Fighters tournament. With a roster of 33 (plus seven unlockables) and the kind of inscrutable battle mechanics that result from over a decade of improvements, tweaks, additions, and refinements, it's one of the better PS2 fighters... despite the graphics. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of The King of Fighters XI for the PS2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of KING OF FIGHTERS: SKY STAGE, published by SNK for Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA). When they're not beating each other up in the King of Fighters tournament, a half-dozen of the series' heroes take time off to foil a nefarious plot with...bullet-hell shooting? It's not my place to ask, but it is my place to have fun. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of KOF: Sky Stage for the Xbox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of The King of Fighters 2006, a 3D fighting game developed and published in 2006 by SNK Playmore for the Playstation 2. The famous fighting series takes its second step into 3D with a massive roster, even more massive wardrobe, and a one-on-one bout with a Metal Slug. That's right, a Metal Slug. Drawing characters from several SNK franchises, KoF '06 pits your combatants against a friend or the CPU in story, versus, team versus, and mission modes This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of The King of Fighters 2006 for the Playstation 2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

The King of Fighters '94 review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The King of Fighters '94 for Neo-Geo developed and published by The King of Fighters '94. One of the first "crossover" fighting games, The King of Fighters '94 combined combatants from SNK's established Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting series, as well as some outlying titles like Ikari Warriors and Psycho Soldier. They all come together at the behest of Rugal Bernstein, a shady character with hands in weapon and drug trafficking. He's spoiling for a fight, and if you're gonna fight, you'd better fight the best. This video review features video gameplay footage of The King of Fighters '94 for Neo-Geo and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Shop CGR shirts & mugs! http://www.CGRstore.com Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood for Game Boy Advance developed by Marvelous and published by Atlus. The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood marks the second King of Fighters attempt on the GBA, and a strange candidate for porting to the ill-fated Nokia N-Gage but the less said about that, the better. As is typical for KoF titles of this particular era, there's something something Orochi Blood and Iori's acting a fool and then some strange kid comes out of nowhere to pummel everyone, because SNK Boss. Meanwhile, Baron von Munchausen tries to revive Leopold Goenitz, and only your punching and kicking and various huge-iron-ball techniques can stop him. This video review features video gameplay footage of The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood for Game Boy Advance, and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
