Me doing some pistols (one leg squat) on a bosu ball (half stability ball). It may look hard, but I think it's easier on the bosu than on the ground.

I wasn't sure if I could do this when I tried, and my form is not perfect, but good enough for my first attempt.
This was the same day that I tried doing a pistol with a kettlebell racked for the first time. This was also the very end of a long kettlebell workout, about one hour and fifteen minutes.
After which I shot about 5 videos and finally this. A pistol aka one leg squat with 2 16 kg kettlebells. My goal is to be able to do one with 2 32 kg kettlebells like Steve Cotter.
Considering I have only been doing kettlebells for about 3 months, I would say this is a good start.

Dynamic Effort Squat Workout. This is a video clip of a workout I did on January 2, 2009. It’s a West Side Barbell powerlifting style workout that consists of box squats done with approx. 50% of 1 rep max for 10 sets of 2 reps. Pull throughs with low pulley cable 3 sets of 10 reps. 1 leg squats or bench lunges for 4 sets of 10 reps. 1 arm dumbbell row for 4 sets of 6 reps. And barbell shrugs for 3 sets of 15 reps. Afterwards I finished up with some stretching for the muscles I just worked.
