The Phantom Menace isn't nearly as bad as you think it is.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective from Capcom for the Nintendo DS. Ghost Trick is a terrific—albeit wordy—game with an interesting gameplay hook. The idea is...well, you're dead, to begin with. And in death, you have the ability to possess inanimate objects, making them move and shift in a variety of ways. You can also pass through time, and those two abilities make up the core of Ghost Trick's intriguing gameplay. You're basically playing the role of a posthumous detective who's trying to figure out what the hell is going on in this dreary, rainy city on this dreary, rainy night. You find yourself in a series of situations, and you have to work your way through them like a puzzle, changing the outcomes and most importantly, discovering why you were killed. This video review features video gameplay footage of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective for the Nintendo DS and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace for Playstation 1. Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace follows the events of the prequel movie, from the Trade Federation ship all the way to the climatic final battle on Naboo. You play as a variety of different characters, each with their own play style. The best is playing as a Jedi, where you can use your lightsaber and force powers to feel super powerful. This game actually makes being a Jedi cool and not a chore. If you want to feel like you are a part of Episode I, this will provide that, just with a wonky camera and some really dated graphics. This video review features video gameplay footage of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace for Playstation 1 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Ryan.
Classic Game Room presents a review of The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for the Nintendo DS. Prepare to join Link in this continuation of Windwaker as you once again have to save princess Zelda but this time from the evil Ghost Ship. Link meets many new companions on the way in this adventure that incorporates the use of your own boat in it. This CGRundertow review features The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass gameplay and is by CGRundertow's Amanda.
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow video game review of Phantom Brave, a tactical RPG developed and published in 2004 by Nippon-Ichi for the Playstation 2. Though the plot details the emotional destruction of a emonically gifted little girl, there's a lot to celebrate in this, the first gridless tactical RPG from the makers of Disgaea. Combine characters, plants, fish, and whatever else you have on hand to defeat the evil trying to enter this world, and clear Marona's name once and for all. This CGRundertow video game review features video gameplay footage of Phantom Brave for the Playstation 2 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds for XBox Live Arcade developed by Release Universal Network and published by Mages. The spinoff of a fighting game that was supposed to be released in North America (but kinda fell off the face of the earth), Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds is very not a fighting game. It's a side-scrolling brawler more akin to Guardian Heroes, but with a retro aesthetic like Scott Pilgrim. And, well, a combat system that puts the complexity and timing of a fighting game into an even more frantic environment. This video review features video gameplay footage of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds for XBox 360 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's TJ.
