A gallbladder attack happens because of inflammation and irritation of the gallbladder. Called cholecystitis, gallbladder attacks occur because of the presence of an infection or gallstones in the gallbladder or from damage to the bile ducts that drain the gallbladdder. Cholecystitis may become an acute condition with a sudden onset or it can become a chronic health problem. Remedies for gallbladder attacks involve diet and lifestyle modifications, medications and surgery. Low Fat Diet According to the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, NIDDK, an important remedy for gallbladder attacks is a low fat diet. The consumption of fat causes an increase in the production of bile which, in a diseased gallbladder, increases biliary spasm and pain symptoms. Donna D. Ignatavicius, MS RN, and M. Linda Workman, PhD, authors of “Medical-Surgical Nursing: Critical Thinking for Collaborative Care”, emphasize the importance of sufficient protein intake along with adherence to a low fat diet. Adequate protein prevents the formation of certain gallstones. Gallstones are a frequent cause of gallbladder attacks. People with gallbladder disease should confer with a physician or nutritionist to establish an appropriate diet that meets individual needs. Weight Control The NIDDK report that a direct link exists between obesity and cholecystitis. One possible reason for this connection purports that in overweight people the amount of bile salts in bile is reduced, leading to elevated cholesterol levels. High cholesterol slows gallbladder emptying and increases gallstone formation. A low fat diet and regular exercise help control weight and cholesterol levels.

white spots on skin, small white spots on face, what causes white spots on skin, vitiligo. The Link Between Vitiligo and Auto Immune Disorders. If you suffer with Vitiligo, a condition that strips your skin of its natural pigment or coloring, the odds are good that you are also battling some sort of autoimmune disorder. It took years for doctors to connect the two disorders, but recent research shows that at least 20 percent of Vitiligo suffers also get autoimmune thyroid disease, and that's juts the beginning. Many more suffer a multitude of other disorders. Until recently, the link between the Vitiligo and autoimmune problems were not clear. Doctors seemed to see a link, but nothing substantial could be proven. Until now. In march 2013, The National Institute's of Health's National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) announced an amazing discovery: a connection between a specific gene named NALP1, Vitiligo and a host of autoimmune diseases including thyroid disease, pernicious anemia, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and Addison's Disease. According to lead researcher, Richard Spritz M.D., the discovery of this gene may make newer, more effective Vitiligo treatments possible within the next few years. But that's not all. It will also be able to help treat certain auto immune disorders. By finding ways to block the inflammatory response of the NALP1 gene, doctors may some day be able to cure certain autoimmune disorders. Affecting nearly 25 million Americans, autoimmune disease can be life threatening, says NIAMS Director Stephen I. Kratz, M.D., PhD. "The more we can understand these diseases, including the genes that predispose us to them, the closer we come to better treatments and preventative measures."

Lyme disease is notoriously difficult to cure. In fact, only 2 people have beat the intermediate to chronic stages of Lyme disease, and I’m Rob Matthies, and I’m one of them. Lyme disease progresses quickly, around 20 days after the initial infection. My story starts out like most others that become infected. I was hiking in Vancouver and contracted Lyme disease and so did my hiking companion. Soon after the hike, I began to feel unwell as the typical symptoms of Lyme disease began sprouting up including the telltale rash, severe joint pain, and brain fog. I cured myself in less than 60 days while my friend is still being treated for it as well as Bartonella and Babiosis, co-infections that come about from Lyme disease. Traditionally, those with Lyme disease would go on a regimen of Doxycycline. However, in December of 2017, the Lyme Disease Organization featured a study about a 28-day regimen of Doxycycline and how it does not kill Borrelia bacteria. In fact, Lyme disease is not easy to cure with Western medicines. A look at Will Wiegman, PhD, as well as other internet resources including Johns Hopkins, ILADS, and even read up on what Real Housewives’ star and famous model Yolanda Hadid had done in order to beat Lyme disease. I thought I was going to die. And then, I fought back using a non-standard regimen that cured my severe Lyme disease. I want to share my cure for Lyme disease with the world through my documentary that needs donations in order to complete. Lyme disease is a horrible way for one to exist in this world and the thing is, we can eliminate it effectively and give people their lives back. Help me make this a reality, for it could be you that’s enjoying a gorgeous day outdoors one day only to be diagnosed with Lyme disease the next.

Often, people with high cholesterol take cholesterol lowering medications.
