Hey everyone. So a few years ago I was doing some quick animation tests with a 3D model of a wii remote I made, and I thought that it looked pretty cool. Eventually I made a little animation with Mario holding the remote and...well...I just kept going from there. Eventually I put this whole commercial together. I wanted to send it to Nintendo to see what they thought of it, but never really got to doing it. The commercial basically shows some of my ideas for Wii games, such as a Kirby game for Wii, a Starfox game for Wii, and a Wii game where you play as Metal Mario. I really wanted some people to see all of my hard work, so I decided to post it on YouTube. Hope you guys enjoy!

Ant Raid review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Ant Raid from Prank Ltd. for the iPad. Ant Raid is somewhat similar to Nintendo's Pikmin. They're both real time strategy games in which you control an army of small lifeforms in a world that has fun with size and perspective. But otherwise, Ant Raid is a unique game all its own. Instead of focusing on management, the name of game here is action. You're given a number of enemies, and it's your job to outlast the other insects by squashing them. As you might expect, you do that by tapping. The game is played by tapping the screen to select some of your ants and touching an enemy to send them to attack. This video review features video gameplay footage of Ant Raid for the iPad and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Pikmin 3 review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Pikmin 3 for the Nintendo Wii U developed and published by Nintendo. After nearly a decade of inactivity, the Pikmin have returned to the surface. Released in 2013, Pikmin 3 takes one of the best reasons to own a GameCube and makes it one of the best reasons to own a Wii U. Players control three brave space explorers who have left their home planet in search of food. They happen upon—or crash upon—the strange world of PNF-404, a place where tiny little creatures pop up from the ground like multicolored popcorn. Those are the Pikmin, and it turns out they're a big help when you're lost in space. Pikmin 3 is a real-time strategy game in which you control up to a hundred Pikmin between split into three groups, multitasking and switching between them on the fly. Each type of Pikmin has a different attribute or ability, which forces players to think about which Pikmin they send to do which jobs. Captain Charlie, Alph and Brittany may have the help of the Pikmin, but they still need to find their ship's key to get home, as well as fruit to save their starving people. Will they make it? It's up to you and your GamePad in Pikmin 3. This video review features video gameplay footage of Pikmin 3 for the Nintendo Wii U and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
New Play Control! Pikmin 2 review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of New Play Control! Pikmin 2 from Nintendo for the Nintendo Wii. Like other New Play titles, Pikmin 2 is a faithful remake of the GameCube original. A wider camera and widescreen support aside, this is the same game GameCube owners fell in love with back in 2004...along with one other difference. The game now controls with a pointer and a nunchuck. And freaking magic. Pikmin 2 is a real time strategy game with an undeniably Nintendo feel. Space freight pilot Captain Olimar returns to the Pikmin planet in hopes of finding valuable alien treasures. Like soda cans. The Wii Remote is perfectly suited for this series. Pointing at the screen to command and mobilize your Pikmin is an incredible improvement over the original controls. Pikmin 2 is so intuitive on Wii, it's an absolute joy to play. This video review features video gameplay footage of New Play Control! Pikmin 2 for the Nintendo Wii and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Pikmin 3 is the brand new strategy sequel that's coming to Wii U this year. Here's all the gameplay footage from the game that opened up Nintendo's conference at E3 2012, Pikmin 3.

Pikmin 3 proves that nearly a decade after the release of Pikmin 2, the series' unique gameplay is still fun, fresh, and inventive.
When Vikings Attack! review. *******www.ClassicGameRoom**** Shop CGR shirts & mugs! *******www.CGRstore**** Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of When Vikings Attack! as included in Best of PlayStation Network Vol. 1 for the PlayStation 3 developed by Clever Beans and XDev Studios and published by Sony. When Vikings Attack! is kind of a weird idea. If you turned Pikmin into a multiplayer-focused game that takes place in the 9th century, the result would be pretty close to this game. Vikings are attacking—an unexpected turn of events given the title—and it's your job to help the people fight back. Controlling a group of survivors similar to a Pikmin horde, you pick up any objects you can find and throw them with fatal intent at your invaders from the north. Benches, crates, bombs, even cars—if it's not nailed down, you can throw it at the vikings. The game is very simple to play, which is both good and bad. It's accessible, but also a bit repetitive. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a great PSN game, When Vikings Attack! is a fine choice. This video review features video gameplay footage of When Vikings Attack! as included in Best of PlayStation Network Vol. 1 for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
Put those little pikmin to work.
