This tutorial is continued with full written instructions at *******WordpressVideos.TV In this video, Im going to show you a very cool WordPress plugin that you can use to create membership sites. And that plugin is called WishList Member. To find this plugin, you can just go to Google, and type in wishlist member and do a search for that. And the actual URL is at member.wishlistproducts****. On the main sales page for WishList Member, you can watch the YouTube video over here to see how it works, and then you can also have a brief overview of all the features. Now, WishList Member is one of the more advanced membership site plugins that are specifically designed to be used with WordPress. So needless to say, youll find a lot of features like unlimited membership level, simple installation and integration with WordPress blogs, flexible membership options, sequential content delivery, which is a very popular system among a lot of membership site owners, and a lot of other things as well that you can read on the main page itself. Now, lets look at the pricing for WishList Member. So if you wanna run WishList Member on a single WordPress blog on a single domain then you can just get the Single Site License, which is, at the moment of this video, USD97. Or if you have multiple sites, then you can get the Multi-site License for USD297. So Im just gonna click on Single Site License. And on the second Order Page, or Step 2 of the Order Page, youll probably see an additional promotion where you can get three licenses for the price of two, or thisthe actual promotion may be different while you are viewing the actual website at the moment. So Im going to scroll down, and Im gonna pass on this offer and click on No, Thanksfor just a Single Site License. Next comes the actual final order page, so once you have filled up your personal information over here, and also selected the payment method credit card or PayPal and then you have made a payment; then what you should receive in your email so its very important that you check your email what you should receive in your email is your login details to the WishList Customer Area, and also your license key for your WishList Member installation.

This tutorial is continued with full written instructions at *******WordpressVideos.TV Its always a great idea to make it as easy as possible for your subscribers and for your blog visitors to contact you directly. Now, instead of just displaying your email address, which may be picked up by spam bots, and as a result you may end up in a lot of spam, you can also just install a simple contact form to your WordPress blog. In your WordPress dashboard, you can just search for the search term Contact Form, and you will find a lot of suitable WordPress plugins that you can use and install. Now, the first plugin that you see here, WP Contact Form by Ryan Duff, used to be one of the more popular plugins; however, this plugin seems to be rather inactive lately, so another good alternative is Contact Form 7. Now, the names here may all seem very much alike to the new user, so I want you to look for the name of the creator of this plugin, which is Takayuki Miyoshi, alright? So, what you can do is install this Contact Form 7 to your WordPress blog either automatically or manually. Once you have uploaded the plugin you can just activate it, and you will see on your left-hand column a new section here for the contact form. So Im just gonna click on Edit. And theres some basic setup that is required for your contact form. The first, of course, you need to put in your actual email address where you want to receive inquiries and where you want people to send their inquiries to, and then the rest of the fields, basically, you can just leave it as it is if you just want to create a very simple contact form, alright? And once youve updated the contact form settings, you can just copy this code and then go to a page or a, or also on a blog post, and right in the content area here, Im just going to paste that code that we got earlier, cause Im going to save this page and lets take a look at that page to see how a contact form looks like.

This tutorial is continued with full written instructions at *******WordpressVideos.TV So let's take a look at how to upgrade your WordPress plugins automatically in your WordPress blog. The first thing you need to do is click on the plugins tab here, and just check all the currently installed WordPress plugins and see which ones need to be updated. In the list of your currently active plugins, and even for your inactive plugins, you'll be able to see if there's a new version of a particular plugin available, and it says here that A new version is available, and to upgrade automatically, all I need to do is click on this link here. Now, WordPress is gonna ask me for some information on my web server namely the hostname, username, and password. So your hostname is usually ftp. your domain name, and your username is your cPanel log-in username, and your password is your cPanel password as well. Now, make sure you have chosen Connection Type as FTP and unless you have a secure FTP connection, then you can choose FTPS for SSL, which means it's secure socket layer. But for now, just choose FTP and click on Proceed. And you can see that my plugin has been updated automatically. What happens is that WordPress first downloads the update from the WordPress plugin repository, and then it unpacks the update, it deactivates the older version of the plugin, it removes the older version of the plugin, and then it installs the latest version of the plugin. And finally, it reactivates your plugin if it's currently activated, and if it's not currently activated, then you'll be prompted for activation of the plugin, and that's how you automatically upgrade any existing plugins in your WordPress blog.
