Filmed April 10th 2007, at a Buddhist shrine in Chichester, this video tells the story of a sand painting born only the day before. In Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the Mandala is brought to an end, honouring the Buddhas teaching of 'impermanence' : that all things arise and fade away - that all things are temporary in nature. In the video you will see many members of the local and visiting Tibetan Buddhist commuity contributing to the growth of the mandala, including the special guest Dr Akong Tulku Rinpoche. Many thanks to David Mackenzie-Dewhirst for his kind help and guidance in making the mandala, and should anyone like to enquire further about sand mandalas or other therapeutic artforms he practices, he can be contacted at: www.artmatters.nhs*** The word Mandala is sanskrit and litterally means 'Circle' & 'Center', it suggests the notion that any centre is tied to it's circumferance, and that any circumferance is always determined by it's center, together they represent a wholeness. The Making Of The Mandala: Traditionally, the sand for madalas is made by crushing precious and semi-precious stones such as coral and turquoise amber etc, but this is no longer done. The sand is dyed using vegetable dyes or opaque tempera or acrylics, it is applied to the mandala disc (base) with a narrow metal funnel called a 'chakpu', which is tapped against to cause sufficient vibration for grains of sand to trickle out of its end. Stray grains of sand are moved back into place with small brushes, no adhesives are used to maintain the position of the sand. Mandala's to Promote Health & Healing: There has been medical research to show that the bodies immune system and innate healing ability are enhanced when we are relaxed, creativity appears to trigger the bodies relaxation response, promoting one's own health and healing and increasing stress reduction. Finally: In the dismantling of the mandala one should remain in the same relaxed and meditative state of mind, as in its creation. Mandala's can help us to understand that all things are impermanent and exist only in relation to, and in independence on other things. The Kagyu tradition is one of the four main schools of Tibetan Buddhism. It is reknowned for its emphasis on meditation as embodied by such great masters as Marpa, Milarepa and Gampopa, whose example inspired people throughout Tibet. The supreme head of the Kagyu lineage is the Karmapa. Kagyu Samye Dzong London is a branch of Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery in Scotland, a Buddhist Centre which was established in 1967 and now has branches worldwide. Kagyu Samye Dzong London is under the direct guidance of Dr. Akong Tulku Rinpoche and Ven.Lama Yeshe Losal, whose lives and activity are an endless source of inspiration for the thousands of people who come into contact with them every year. They are known for their tireless efforts in preserving the purity of the Buddha's teachings, and the Kagyu lineage in particular and they visit Kagyu Samye Dzong London regularly giving teachings, guidance and empowerments. The day to day guidance of the centre is by Lama Zangmo. More information here:

How to Choose the Best Type of Flowers for Your Relationship on Valentine's Day More than one-third (35.9 percent) of Americans will be celebrating Valentine's Day with flowers for their loved ones, according to the National Retail Federation. While a dozen red roses may seem like the obvious choice, the type and length of the relationship may deem otherwise. Specific varieties, colors or even how they are presented can communicate different messages. Red roses represent the most romantic love, and should be given to those in a serious relationship. Are you a secret admirer? Pink roses are a tasteful way to say "I am interested." Colorful daises are the perfect flower for the family matriarch. Lilies in shades of white, cream, yellow, red and pink symbolize sweetness and purity, and are the ideal flower to give to a daughter. Carnations symbolize a love that has not yet blossomed. Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat Soaring in glittering splendour, the Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat rise to a hundred feet on either side of the Narmada. The serene loveliness of the scene is one of cool quiet, the sunlight sparkling on the marble-white pinnacles and casting dappled shadows on the pellucid waters. These white rocks with views of black and dark green volcanic seams are truly majestic, and produce a magical effect on moonlit nights The holy river flows by tranquilly flanked by the towering cliffs which reflect in it like a mirror the changing moods of nature. A little distance away, it becomes turbulent as it plunges in a mighty water fall known as Dhuandhar. In his Highlands of Central India Captain J. Forsyth speaks eloquently about the infinitely varied beauty of the rocks : "the eye never wearies of the . . . effect produced by the broken and reflected sunlight, now glancing from a pinnacle of snow-white marble reared against the deep blue of the sky as from a point of silver, touching here and there with bright lights the prominence of the middle heights and again losing itself in the soft bluish grays of their recesses. . . Here and there the white saccharine limestone is seamed by veins of dark green or black volcanic rock; a contrast which only enhances like a setting of jet, the purity of the surrounding marble." Places to visit Marble Rocks The perpendicular magnesium limestone rocks fringe the crystal clear placid waters of the Narmada providing a fascinating site. Boating facilities are available between November-May. Boating on a moonlit night, when the whole stretch of water is transformed into a sheet of liquid silver is absolutely magical. In the narrow channel of the mighty river, there is a place approached so closely from the opposite banks that the local people have aptly named it the "Monkey's Leap" . Dhuandhar Falls The Narmada, making its way through the Marble Rock,s narrows down and then plunges in a waterfall known as Dhuandhar or the smoke casade. So powerful is the plunge that its roar is heard from a far distance. The falls and the breaking of the volume of water at the crest present an awesome spectacle of Nature's power unleashed. Chausat Yogini Temple Situated atop a hillock and approached by a long flight of steps, the Chusat Yogini Temple commands a singularly beautiful view of the Narmada flowing through the jagged Marble Rocks. Dedicated to goddess Durga, this 10th century temple has exquisitely carved stone figures of deities belonging to the kalchuri period. According to a local legend, this ancient temple is connected to the Gond Queen Durgavati's palace through an underground passage. Soapstone Artefacts The soapstone revealed by the Narmada provides occupation to families of carvers of gods and goddesses, lingas, crosses, madonnas, ashtrays and trinket boxes.

A fitting subject, we think, for our annual April 1st edition of Aero-News is the feature we present today. It's a story about a guy who REALLY loves his Mooney... enough to have its logo tattooed on him for life. On the opening day of AOPA Expo 2007, Mooney Aircraft Company reasserted its claim for the world's fastest piston single. "We can at last, completely and finally, put to rest any debate about what piston single-engine airplane is the fastest: It's the Mooney Acclaim, or to be more specific and precise, the new Mooney Acclaim Type S," the company said... "We've added more than a new designation to the Acclaim; we've dramatically increased its top speed. The Type S truly stands for speed: 242 knots of speed, and increased range, all with the legendary aerodynamic purity that Mooney pilots appreciate." Powered by a 280 hp Teledyne Continental Motors IO 550-G engine equipped with dual Kelly Aerospace turbochargers, the Acclaim will maintain sea level manifold pressure all the way to its service ceiling of 25,000 feet. The new Acclaim Type S will also feature a custom Hartzell propeller and design enhancements that improve airflow and minimize drag, providing an additional 10 knots over the top speed of 232 knots originally published in the aircraft's POH. But... most impressed was Acclaim owner and "Mooniac" Arthur "Arty" Dowd... who demonstrated his loyalty by getting a tattoo of the Mooney logo over his heart -- right at the Mooney exhibit on day two of AOPA Expo. So... in honor of our annual April 1st Edition and the fact that wee couldn't quite find anything stranger to make up, we decided to stick with reality and the tale of the Mooney Tattoo. VARIED PROPHET HADITHS --PART 2: once a funeral passed so prophet friends spoke ill of it ,then another passed but they spoke well of it, then the prophet said the first will be in hell while the second will be in paradise as u r Allah witnesses on earth. Let what make u doubt as truth s reassurance but lies r doubt. No one will be in paradise thanks 2 his own deeds. If u read surat el ekhlas 10 times or pray 12 bows(rakaas)voluntarily or leave lies even joking will have a palace in the paradise. purity s half of belief ,subhanallah fills the scale, subhanallah and thanks2allah fills in between the sky and earth, prayer s light(nour),charity s proof, patience s light(diaa).the throne of alrahman (merciful allah)shakes if man has sex with man. those who walk 2 mosques with no aim other than praying will have the same agr(reward) as the pilgrim . The most liked deeds by Allah r praying on time then parents obedience then jihad 4 Allah sake. Every care and tiredness a man feels even the thorn that pricks him s expitation2his sins so if Allah likes a person ,he puts him into a misfortune. Those who wanna be happy with their papers on judgment day should ask Allah 2 cover their sins from 70-100 times or more daily. Never flatter me like what happened with Jesus but say Allah slave and messenger. nothing s better on al adha feast than sacrificing as Allah covers your sins with the first drop of the slaughtered animal, feast days r days of eating, drinking and mentioning Allah. Toothbrush leads2 mouth purity, Allah satisfaction and devil anger.Dont ask by Allah face except paradise. Allah accepts your repentance as long as u r not dying and the sun did not rise from the west. praying al fagr (first prayer) in mosque then waiting till sunrise mentioning Allah then praying 2 bows(rakaas) of sunrise(doha)make u have the same agr(reward) as the pilgrimage. .Saying thanks 2 Allah who fed me this food without any power from me cover all your sins. Envy eats away sins the same as the fire when it eats fire wood ,charity puts out sin like the water when it puts out fire. What bring curses r changing earth borders, bribe taking and giving, wig hair wearing, putting tattoos, changing body shapes by changing your eyebrows or teeth shape and imitating the other sex and excreting in shade ,roads and resources. Ablution then sleeping makes angels ask Allah 2 cover your sins till u walk up, the honest merchant will be with prophets and martyrs. those who believe in Allah and judgment day should honor their guests ,treat their neighbors well and say good words or shut up. The most tortured people on judgment day r the creatures' drawers. All the muslin nation s forgiven except the declarers of their sins. What delete sins s ablution, walking alot 2 mosques and waiting 4 prayers . Deeds by intentions and fins. Man may utter the good word without caring but it provides him with Allah satisfaction till meeting him and he may talk with the word that angers Allah without caring but it makes him fall deep in hell. in hadith kodsi (by Allah)take out of hell those who mentioned me one day or feared me in a position. Days will come when other nations will continue harming Muslims as Muslims large number will be as weak as mud. Those who guide people2 good will have the same reward as their followers but those who tell others2do sins will have the same torture as their followers. Allah raises the modest. Exploit health, youth, life and spare time before they r over. No pessimism in Islam. begging without need means collecting hellish stones and removing your face skin.never seek rule .hoarders r cursed.

introduction 2 islam 2 by prophet Mohamed: Muslim should obey except when ordered to do sin , then he should disobey. Cursing the believer s like killing him. We r ordered to kneel down on seven bones in prayers. Allah doesnot accept a prayer without purity . Purity s the prayer key. One will be on judgement day with whom he likes. This who imitates some people s one of them. The immigrant leaves what allah orders to avoid. Those who cheat us r not from us. Marriage s from me and those who don't like my sunna(way of life) r not from me. You youth, those who could marry should marry as marriage lowers gaze and keeps genitals but those who cannot marry should fast. The first people in hell r martye, scholar and charity man as their good deeds were for hypocrisy and reputation. Put in dust: those who don't give salutaions to me when mentioning me, those whose sins werenot covered in ramadan and those whose old parents did not enter him paradise. Allah says in hadith kodsi:spend, u adam son, and u will be spent on. And he says also ; I like my slave when doing what I imposed on him and he s approaching me with sunnas till I like him and when I like him , I will be his eyes by which he looks, his legs by which he walks, his hands and his ears and if he sought anything from me or sought refugee from me, I will give him. And allah says also : those who offend anybody I like, I will fight them. If u knew what s in the first row of group prayer, u will use lot to have place in it. Exchange presents and like each other. Avoid cleaning yourself -after excreting -with bones as this s the food of ginn brothers. The prophet ordered not to urinate while standing. Pray the five prayers, fast your month(ramadan) and obey your rulers and u will enter paradise. Obey your ruler even if he was a black slave. Best rulers r those whom u hate and curse and those who hate and curse u.

55 sayings of Prophet Mohamed • The believer has in paradise 2 virgins but the martyr has over 70 ones. • If two people shake hands, their sins will fall like tree papers. • 2 sorts of people I haven't seen: women with descriptive clothes who will not go 2 heaven or smell it and people hitting others with whips like cows tail. • You will not believe till you like each other , don't u want me to tell you about something if you did, love would prevail among you ? Spread salutations among you. • Allah doesn't put blessing in a work that diverts your attention from praying This religion is strong so deepen in it gently. • Those who don't pour mercy on our young people and don't respect our old people are not from us. • You will not believe till you pour mercy on each other, not only private mercy but also public mercy. • If Allah guided by u one person, it is better 4 u than red camels and guiding 2 good is like doing it. • Well doing is worshipping Allah as if u were seeing him, but as long as you don't see him, he sees you. • Salutations before speaking • Believers in their mercy among each other are like the one body , if an organ of it complained, all other organs would suffer. • Believers with each other are like the strong building. • Those who boast about their power are working for the devil but those using it in work or 4 Islam are working 4 Allah. Allah likes the rough hands of working. • There will be dark infatuations as night making one change his religion 4 the sake of life pleasures. • But 4 the fact that u bury each other, I would have asked Allah 2 make u hear grave torment. • This fabricating something that is not from Islam, it will be returned 2 him. • Allah doesn't accept prayer without purity. • Ablution then sleeping makes angels ask Allah to cover your sins till you wake up. • Best people are those who are most beneficial to other people or those learnt and educated Quran. • If u have hair, honour it • Belief increases and decreases • This who honors a man 4 his age, Allah will make others honor him in his old age • The devils tie u with 3 knots when you sleep, if u woke then mentioned Allah, one knot would be removed then if u abluded ,another would be removed then if u prayed, the third would be removed or u woke up lazy. This who shuts up about right is a dumb devil. • When you get up, say thanks to Allah who resurrected us after he put us to death . • A believer isn't stung from a hole twice • Bashfulness lies in heart • Religion is easiness • Religion is treatment • Don't be alone with a woman • Allah helps this who helps his brother and covers this who covers a Muslim • This who defends his brother against those mentioning him badly, Allah will defend him against hell on judgment day. • We were ordered 2 put our right hand on the left one in prayer. • There is a garden from paradise between my grave and my mosque. • This who takes something from his brother without right will not enter paradise. • Give more salutations 2 me on Friday as these salutations r shown 2 me. • If you kill or sacrifice , kill or sacrifice well-that means without torturing quickly. • People are equal like comb teeth but they differ in Allah fear. • Live as you like , you are dead • Do whatever you wish but you will be asked about it Love whoever you wish , you will leave him • Belief is what is in heart appearing in action. • To satisfy a brother need is better than secluding in my mosque a month. • *U should repeat what the prayer caller says 2 get the same reward as his as in hadith • supplication 4 the dead: allah ,wash him from his sins with water and ice and give him better house, people and wife than his. But when visiting a tomb say: salam alikom, believers ,u r the preceders and we are the followers god willing. • Allah forgives forgetting and mistakes in this nation. • When the man is in grave he is asked about his god, his religion and the prophet he believes in and he hears the shoes sound of those who shared in their funeral • It is a right on Allah 2 lower what he raised • Allah says in hadith : oh adam son if u came 2 me with earh full sins then you asked and begged me for forgiveness and u werenot polytheist of me , I will cover your sins and provide u with earth-full sin cover. • The repentent of a sin is like this who didn't commit a sin. • Allah continues to look at you in prayer as long as your attention wasnot diverted. • If night fell, put out your lanterns, cover your dishes and keep your children as Allah sends what creatures he wants. • All the muslin is forbidden on the muslim, his money, his blood and his honour.

The strong believer is better than weak one . If man wears gold or silver in paradise,he willnot wear them in paradise. Leaving lies even joking or arguments even if u r right or praying 12 bows voluntarily daily or reading surat el-ekhlas 10 times or surat al-doghan (smoke) on friday night or being patient if u lost your son.ALL PROVIDE U WITH PALACES IN PARADISE. Before sleeping move the bed cover an when washing begin withthe right and upper parts of your body. Allah forgives forgetting and mistakes in this nation. Pray the 5 prayers, fast ramadan, join relatives, pray while people r asleep and obey your rulers so that u enter paradise. All my nation is exempted except the declarers openly. the greatest sin after polytheism is illegal sperm in female womb. from curse reasons ; bribes, wig hair, hoarding, changing eyebrows or teeth or creation, changing land borders, imitating other sex ,sex with mothers or animals and masturbating. The most hell accesses r genitals and tongues but the most heaven accesses r allah fear and good morals. Best Earth places are mosques and worst places r markets and allah laughs at those mentioning him in markets ( saying this in market provides u with million hasannat :No god but allah without any polytheism ,he has the all possessions and thanks and can do anything) days will come when other nations will continue 2 harm this nation as its large number will be as weak as mud. U will not believe till u like me more than yourselves, relatives, your money and all people. Those who cheat us arenot from us. those believing fortune-tellers are out of islam. If 2 persons fought ,both the murderer and the murdered r in hell as the murdered was keen on killing the murderer also. those who raise weapons against us are not from us and those who raise iron bar against his brother, angels will curse him till leaving it . Keep away from polytheism and harming people. the bankrupt r those who come on judgment day with great accepted deeds but they call others bad names, hit others, robbed others, ill spoke about others so all those will take from his good deeds till he has zero good deeds deeds and be thrown in hell. those who help in killing( even with half word ki-instead of kill-) without right will be desperate of Allah mercy on judgment day . Pour mercy on those on earth so that this in the sky pours mercy on u . if u know what s in the darkness and morning prayers(final and first prayers),u will go 2 pray them in the mosque even by crawling and they r the heaviest prayers on the hypocrite.Allah will harbor and respond 2 those who harbor and satisfy the needs of others. those who feed humans or animals will be in heaven. prophet says also that what overtakes your heels from your clothes s in hell and Allah will not look at u while praying if your do this. purity s half of belief ,subhanallah fills the scale, subhanallah and thanks2allah fills in between the sky and earth, prayer s light(nour),charity s proof, patience s light(diaa).the throne of alrahman (merciful allah)shakes if man has sex with man. those who walk 2 mosques with no aim other than praying will have the same agr(reward) as the pilgrim . The most tortured persons on judgement day r creatures drawers and they will be asked 2 create what they drew. your supplication s trapped off sky till giving salutations 2 the prophet and your supplication 2 your brother s responded and u will have the same and Allah gets angry with those not asking him. Best times Allah responds :between call 2 prayer and prayer, night,at rainfall, armies meeting and before finishing imposed prayers. Night praying s the believer honour . the 2 bows of sunrise s charity 4 your muscles. saying subhan Allah and thanx 2 allah 100 times covers all your sins . when seeing a person in misfortune say :thanx 2 allah who exempted me from what he put u in and preferred me 2 lots of his creatures. This prevents having the same misfortune. Mashallah and no power except by allah prevents harming your possessions. No god but allah s the best mentioning of allah .No power except by allah is a heaven treasure. Sahih hadiths say that the believer has 2 virgins in heaven but the martyr has over 70 virgins, those who die defending their homeland, money, women, religion and souls r martyrs and so r those who seek martyrdom truly from allah even if dying on bed. supplication 4 the dead: allah ,wash him from his sins with water and ice and give him better house, people and wife than his. But when visiting a tomb say: salam alikom, believers ,u r the preceders and we are the followers. AS PROPHET SAID(PBUH)

*******www.edmunds****/insideline/do/Features/articleId=126092 --- "Our sole Challenger has just broken the ring of evil the deep blue meanies have so righteously wrought — get through 'em baby, get through 'em." — Super Soul, Vanishing Point 1971 It happens deep in the Nevada desert, just past Austin. On a long, straight section of road with nothing to lose, our friends in the white 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T finally put the hammer down. At once, the rawness and purity of Kowalski's ride pulverizes the well-insulated interior of our 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8, shredding the peace inside the modern car's cockpit with the same brute force Kowalski used to pierce a hole in the cool desert air 38 years ago. Even with my right foot buried, I see nothing but taillights until they disappear into the desert. In these few brief seconds, the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is clearly defined by its soft edges and quiet exhaust. Manufacturers don't let us feel cars raw and unfiltered anymore. Hammering down a desert road with a thin-rimmed steering wheel and pistol-grip shifter — that's raw. Four hundred and forty cubic inches and a four-speed — that's raw. Powerslides unhampered by electronic intervention — that's raw. In 1970, when Kowalski drove this very road — U.S. Highway 50 through Nevada — he felt it. And it was raw.

nuptialstv**** Tradition states that if a bride has been living with her fiancée before her wedding day, she's not supposed to wear a white gown. Does this tradition hold true? Oh come on, we're living in a modern world, of course it doesn't. Most brides choose a white gown, even though most brides don't wait til marriage to move in with their future husbands. If you have family who disapproves of you wearing white because they believe it symbolizes purity, first of all, who cares what they think? And secondly, tell them that your white gown symbolizes a fresh beginning with your marriage. And then drink some champagne and laugh at their silly old fashioned ways as you enjoy your thoroughly modern wedding day!
