When John McCain appeared in the opening segment of Saturday Night Live last night with Tina Fey reprising her SNL role as Sarah Palin, I thought McCain ended up looking weak, ridiculous, and worst of all, like a loser as I show with the clips in this video. You can see the entire November 1, 2008, Saturday Night Live skit from which I took a few short clips for my video on the NBC website at *******www.nbc****/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/mccain-qvc-open/805381/

TrailerHits**** is the first and only show to review movie trailers. Is Frost/Nixon a Trailer Hit? or a Trailer Miss. Find out here. Think we missed the trailer leave your comments below. Synopsis: Oscar-winning director Ron Howard brings to the screen writer Peter Morgan’s (The Queen, The Last King of Scotland) electrifying battle between Richard Nixon, the disgraced president with a legacy to save, and David Frost, a jet-setting television personality with a name to make, in the untold story of the historic encounter that changed both: Frost/Nixon. Reprising their roles from Morgan’s stageplay are Frank Langella, who won a Tony for his portrayal of Nixon, and Michael Sheen, who fully inhabited the part of Frost onstage in London and New York. For three years after being forced from office, Nixon remained silent. But in summer 1977, the steely, cunning former commander-in-chief agreed to sit for one all-inclusive interview to confront the questions of his time in office and the Watergate scandal that ended his presidency. Nixon surprised everyone in selecting Frost as his televised confessor, intending to easily outfox the breezy British showman and secure a place in the hearts and minds of Americans. Likewise, Frost’s team harbored doubts about their boss’ ability to hold his own. But as cameras rolled, a charged battle of wits resulted. Would Nixon evade questions of his role in one of the nation’s greatest disgraces? Or would Frost confound critics and bravely demand accountability from the man who’d built a career out of stonewalling? Distributed by Tubemogul.

The bullet riddled campaign bus of senator Katherine LaForge is found on a lonely snow swept road near Charlestown New Hampshire. Who are the assassins behind this deadly attack of a presidential candidate? Who wants her dead? Has her unorthodox quest for peace between Iraq and the USA incensed her foreign policy adversaries to the point of killing her? Could the perpetrators of this attack be any of the thousands of accountants, Lawyers or IRS agents who fear and loathe Katherine's campaign pledge to replace Income tax with a simple national sales tax? Is her support and policies for the United States to end its reliance on foreign oil, incendiary enough for the billionaire oil cartel to silence her? Is she a victim of an Islamic militant's reprisal for her outspoken view on their Jihad? Or is this attack simply because Senator Katherine Laforge is now a clear and present danger to the age-old bastion of men at the helm of the United States? We invite you to help unravel this story of political intrigue. Eleanor Roosevelt once said: "It is certain that women do not want a woman for President. Nor would they have the slightest confidence in her ability to fulfill the functions of that office." Read Katherine LaForge’s pursuit of the presidency and decide for yourself if this woman has the experience, common sense and fortitude too serve as your next president of the United States.

Billu Barber (Hindi: बिल्लू बार्बर, Urdu: بِلّو باربر) is an upcoming Bollywood film starring Irrfan Khan and Lara Dutta in the lead roles, and Shahrukh Khan for the first time in a supporting role. the film also features Om Puri, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani in supporting roles with guest appearances by actresses Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone[1], Priyanka Chopra[2]. The film, which is a remake of the hugely successful Malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol, has already been remade in Tamil as Kuselan starring Pasupathy and Rajinikanth but met a poor box office reception. The film is scheduled to release on The story is set in today's day and age. Billu (Irrfan Khan) plays a village barber. His business is running low because he has not been able to upgrade himself according to the changing trends. One fine day, a film unit visits his village to shoot a movie. It stars a superstar (Shahrukh Khan), who Billu claims to have been friends with. All at once, Billu's status in the village changes, and he becomes highly respected. Everyone wants him to meet the superstar through Billu. But Billu is unsure, as he feels he cannot compare to the superstar's status. Besides, he fears that the star may not recognize him. He makes many attempts to meet the star but fails. After all these hardships, he gives up. The villages believe he lied about the relationship with the star and insult him. His family and children also gets upset and badmouth him. In a twist towards the end, the true extent of the friendship Billu and the superstar is revealed. [edit] Production Director Priyadarshan signed on actors Shahrukh Khan and Lara Dutta to essay pivotal roles in the film. Initially, these roles were offered to Akshay Kumar and Tabu. However, Kumar didn't find the film interesting and opted out of the project[4] whilst Tabu refused the film as she didn't want to work with Irrfan Khan.[5] The director then offered Kumar's and Tabu's role to Shahrukh Khan and Amisha Patel respectively, and both of them agreed to do the film.[6] Patel later opted out of the film as she felt her character's role was not substantial enough[7] and sources had indicated that Juhi Chawla was signed on for the role.[8] In April 2008, the director announced that he had signed on Lara Dutta to essay the role of the barber's wife.[9] The cast began filming for the project on April 8, 2008[10] and according to Shahrukh Khan, "the film is a sweet story of friendship...quite similar to the bond shared between Krishna and Sudama."[1] The film also features Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone & Priyanka Chopra, who are reportedly doing item numbers in the film. * Irrfan Khan as Billu * Shahrukh Khan as Sahir Khan * Lara Dutta as Billu's Wife * Om Puri * Rajpal Yadav * Manoj Joshi * Govardhan Asrani Special appearances * Kareena Kapoor in Marjaani * Deepika Padukone in Love Mera Hit Hit * Priyanka Chopra in You Get Me Rockin Reeling [edit] Crew * Production House: Red Chillies Entertainment * Director: Priyadarshan * Producer: Shahrukh Khan * Distributor: Eros Entertainment * Executive/Associate/Co-Producer: Elahe Hiptoola * Music: Pritam * Written: Sreenivasan * Lyrics: Gulzar [edit] Music The film has music by Pritam with lyrics from Gulzar and is slated to release on January 5, 2009. The year was 2000. By popular demand, I was returning to host Ottawa's Ad Award Show. To entertain the crowd, I made a spoof of "Real Dealers Can't Jump," which was that year's hit commercial for the Ontario Toyota Dealers. In the video, I made several reference to people who worked in the Ottawa ad business. These names may be meaningless to you. But trust me, the references were hilarious to people who worked in the Ottawa ad business. (Note: The actual commercial starred fellow Ottawa and Greenbank Public School alumnus Adam Reid, who was generous enough to reprise his role as the pompous director for me, giving me enough footage to cut together a second short that I also screened at the award show. I'll post that film one day too, when Mr. Reid is rich and famous enough for me to blackmail.)
