A worker steps onto the track of a wacky worm roller coaster as it is coming by and is ran over!. It takes the other workers a second to realize and the then push the car back. The worker did not die. He is currently okay. Unfortunately, he suffered serious injuries and his leg was severed off. It happened on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2010 at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California. It actually happened just 90 minutes after the fair opened. The man apparently was drinking a soda and was distracted. The ride was reported safe and it was an error of the worker. Supposedly he wasn't even working on the ride. Just make sure you follow all rules on roller coasters and amusement parks and this shouldn't happen to you. Enjoy!

A woman died after falling out of the Texas Giant roller coaster at the Six Flags Over Texas amusement park in Arlington, Texas. The accident happened Friday evening about 20 miles west of Texas.
Sharon Parker, a spokesperson for the park, confirmed the death, but did not specify what went wrong. According to witnesses the unidentified woman asked for the ride attendants to double check her seat after she only heard one click, as opposed to three, when she was being secured into her seat. The attendant told her that only one click was needed to be heard for securing purposes.
"She goes up like this. Then when it drops to come down, that's when it (the safety bar) released and she just tumbled," Carmen Brown told The Dallas Morning News. Witnesses told media local media outlets that the woman was on the ride with her son and fell to hear death.
The Texas Giant first opened in 1990 as a an all-wooden coaster. The ride can carry up to 24 riders, has a drop of 79 degrees and a bank if 95 degrees. In 2010 the Texas Giant went through a renovation to install steel-hybrid rails before reopening in 2011. The Texas Giant reaches 14 stories high and is billed as the tallest steel-hybrid coaster in the world.
Six Flags has temporarily closed the section of the park where the accident occurred and has not yet released when they will reopen. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident and whether or not staff could have prevented it.
Investigations are underway after a roller coaster broke down in China, trapping eleven tourists 30m in the air. The incident occurred after the ride, called Skyloop, suddenly stopped, with authorities at World Joyland Theme Park immediately calling firefighters for assistance.
"The park dispatched one engineer, and we opened the safety bars on the seats manually with his help before bringing the tourists to safety one by one," said Tang Xiaorong from Changzhou Wujin Fire Brigade.
Local security authorities have cordoned off the area for further investigations. Report by Sophie Foster.

Six Flags roller coaster accident: Dallas woman Rosy Esparza, who fell to her death on Friday from the Texas Giant, the ride dubbed the world's highest steel-hybrid roller coaster, didn't feel safe, witnesses say.
Riders said three clicks could be heard when the roller coaster's restraints locked in place. Esparza told a ride attendant she was concerned when hers clicked just once, but the attendant told her as long as the she heard a click, she was okay.
The formal investigation is underway, but an unsecured restraint could be what allowed Esparza to fall from the car moments later. Witnesses said the deceased was thrown from her seat as it made a banking turn after the first steep drop.
The ride's German designers will travel to Texas to investigate the cause of the tragedy. Spokesman Tobias Lindnar told The Dallas Morning News: "I'm sure there's no safety bar that is broken," adding "we will be on site and we will see what has happened."
