Our eighteen-year-old Quarter Horse had been locked in her stall all day while the storm was happening. So when we went to feed her, I opened the stall door to see if she wanted to go outside. She immediately ran out and began rolling in the snow like a child making snow angel

The “Out of Sundaland” migration model argues that the origin of the Austronesian speakers is in the islands of Southeast Asia. Ideal climatic conditions and natural resources for development were found in Sundaland. After migrating from the semi-deserted savannas of Africa, man first found a place where food was abundant and it was there that they invented farming, agriculture, trading and civilization, which made humanity first flourished. A striking thing that can be observed in this model is the dispersal of population to the other part of the world about 11,000 years ago. An unusual event was happened here. The event is detected from the observation data. The change of the world temperature made the ice on the north pole to melt and the sea level continued to rise. Cracks in the earth’s crust as the weight of the ice shifted to the seas could set off catastrophic events. The most significant one is at the end of the Younger Dryas period. Earthquakes, volcano eruptions, super waves and floods engulfed the coastal cultures and all the flat continental shelves of Sundaland, and wiped out many populations. As the sea rolled in, there was a mass migration of the survivors from the sinking continent. From the legends, myths and tales, Sundaland has many names, among others are Garden of Eden, Paradise, Dilmun, Nippur, Nisir, Neserser, Ta Netjer, Land of Punt, Land of Ophir, Atlantis, Kumari Kandam, Pandya, Kangdez, Tollan and Siwan, Taprobana, and Golden Khersonese. Plato mentioned that the island of Atlantis was beset, in a night and a day, by an earthquake and a flood in a night and a day, 9,000 years before Solon, or about 11,600 years ago. This accurately coincided with the cataclysm at the end of the Younger Dryas period. In some other his explanations, it is implied that the flood was coming from the sea, so the possibility is a tsunami. Plato did not recognize “tsunami” so he equated it to “flood”. Earthquakes and tsunamis are very often correlated.

That's not to say he sounds dated or his musical style is from another time, it's just that these days, straight ahead rockers aren't getting signed, and no one buys records. Rock Music is this, and I haven't listened to such a awesome commercial voice in a very long time. Though rather retro sounding, it fits the definition of "good". From Pittsburgh, PA, his influences include Queen, Muse, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, and The Beatles. This is my kind of sound. I highly recommend his new album Shake The Cage. It is top quality throughout. FOR MORE INFO, VISIT rocknrollrehab DOT com

A song about capitalism, greed and ethics. Written and performed by John Ludi. Production and engineering by John Ludi. Lurid photo by John Ludi. Here's the words: You tried to find your way in this sad and wicked place but all your good intentions got thrown back in your face. Everyone eventually gets pulled into the race, gets swallowed and digested if they don't keep up the pace. Climbing up the ladder in this sad and wicked time, how to get ahead is all that's on your mind. Honesty and ethics abandoned on the way... the payout makes it worth it: you're a richer man today. Take the money and run, you whore. Grab what you can, find the back door. Presidents do it, so it's ok. Deal with your conscience some other day. [C] And go along to get along, it's what's done...right or wrong. Don't rock the boat and don't make waves, while you're digging your own graves. Now you are a leader in this sad and wicked land raking in the rewards of all your greedy plans. Rolling in the spoils of all that you could steal, and no one dares to ask you, how do you really feel? There is no center, nothing can hold and all your futures are bought and sold. It doesn't matter what the rich folks do 'cause just admit it, you'd do it too. Do it for the money all that awesome money tasty yummy money happy happy money you're worthless without money bad people don't like money what's wrong with them anyway? They should get with the program.

Orem Chiropractor How Good Posture Goes Bad 8012251311 Orem Chiropractor - R. Ned McArthur, D.C.
Hi this is Dr Ned McArthur Today I'm going to answer the question:

How did my posture go bad in the first place? Posture is an unconscious function like breathing or digestion. We never think, "its time to breathe."
Our brain stem has control over it and does it without us having to think about it. The same is true for our posture. Our brain stem has control over it and keeps it aligned without us having to think about it.
When it comes to our posture there are two systems in our brain stem that have the job to keep our keep our head up, level and over our shoulder without us having to think about it. These are the ponto medullary reticular formation and the vestibular system.

When we stare at our computer screen like this guy or when we're head down looking at our phone screen we're over riding these unconscious systems that work to keep our posture correct. So when we practice poor posture often enough and long enough we dampen these systems so much that they lose the ability to return our posture to where it should be. Before you know it you're always slouched, head forward and shoulders rolled in.
Thanks for watching. Utah Orem Provo Lindon Pleasant Grove Spanish Fork Springville

Department of Water Resources Late in the afternoon of Feb. 12, Sheriff Kory Honea was at the emergency operations center for the tallest dam in America when he overheard someone say something that stopped him in his tracks: "This is not good." Over six straight days, the operators of the Oroville Dam had said there was no immediate danger after water surging down the main spillway gouged a hole the size of a football field in the concrete chute.

Ingredients 1 cup (250 mL) all-purpose flour ⅓ cup (75 mL) unsweetened cocoa powder ½ tsp (2 mL) baking soda Pinch of course salt ½ cup (125 mL) unsalted butter, at room temperature ¾ cup (175 ml) peanut butter, at room temperature ¾ cup (175 mL) sugar, plus ¼ cup (50 mL) for coating ½ cup (125 mL) packed brown sugar 1 egg, at room temperature 1 tsp (5 mL) pure vanilla extract ¼ cup (50 mL) of your favourite jam Method: Preheat oven to 375ºF (190ºC) Line baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. In a stand mixer, fitted with the paddle, beat the butter, peanut butter, ¾ cup of sugar, and brown sugar together, until smooth. (scraping down the sides of the bowl if needed) Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until fully blended. With the mixer running on low speed, gradually add the flour & cocoa mixture until fully blended. Form the dough into ¼ cup-size balls and roll in the remaining sugar. Arrange 5 balls of dough, evenly apart, on each baking sheet. Using the handle end of a wooden spoon, make a hole in the centre of each ball, about ½" to ¾" deep. Fill each hole with jam. Bake for 11 to 14 minutes until the dough has spread and the surface of the cookies are crackled. Cool slightly and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Makes 6-8 depending on scoop size.
