Lemmy and Ronnie James Dio chat about the new Metal Xmas song and album they've made. These two metal legends are on form, and Lemmy's santa hat looks particularly fetching.
The metal xmas album is out now: It’s the ultimate antidote to too much turkey, unwrapping another pair of socks and the X-Factor winner being the Christmas No.1 again. With a cast of rock and metal’s finest giving their own unique twist to Christmas classics old and new this is definitely not an album for the faint hearted. Featuring all brand new studio recordings, this is Christmas as you’ve never heard it before! Those invited to join the party include Alice Cooper, Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Lemmy, Steve Lukather, George Lynch, Steve Morse, Tommy Shaw, Geoff Tate, Chuck Billy, Vinnie Appice and Simon Phillips with special guest appearances by Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters.

Manitoba musicians celebrate the life of Ronnie James Dio by recreating the Hear 'n' Aid Video
We have had some negative comments for some strange reason so I would like to let everyone know that I think we did a great job on this tribute. We made this video just after Dio's passing. We are all Dio fans and this is our way of saying thanks and good bye to a great man. We did this video in 4 days including organizing the artists, recording audio and video, and all the editing. During the same 4 days we set up and promoted a show at the Osborne Village Zoo for true Dio fans to celebrate the life of Dio. We were able to have the video ready and premier at the Celebration of Dio show. Nobody made any money on the video or the show. Everyone involved donated there time for this. The brainchild for the project was Heather Greentree, a true Metal Maiden.
Ronnie James Dio will live on forever in his music and our memories.
Ronnie James Dio - Holy Diver lyrics
You've been down too long in the midnight sea
Oh what's becoming of me?
Ride the tiger
You can see his stripes but you know he's clean
Oh don't you see what I mean
Gotta get away
Like the eyes of a cat in the black and blue
Something is coming for you
Race for the morning
You can hide in the sun 'till you see the light
Oh we will pray it's all right
Gotta get away-get away
Between the velvet lies
There's a truth that's hard as steel
The vision never dies
Life's a never ending wheel
You're the star of the masquerade
No need to look so afraid
Jump on the tiger
You can feel his heart but you know he's mean
Some light can never be seen

For Dio, the show always had to go on. He ignored the warning signs for years, and all along the cancer was growing and mutating from something that was probably easily defeatable into a monster which even Dio couldn't slay.
