A higher resolution version of this video can be found at: a 30 second commercial featuring Binghamton University student-athlete and All American Pole Vaulter Rory Quiller, will debut nationally, January 15. The spot, which was produced and directed by BAZAAR Films Inc., will premier during the men's basketball game against Stony Brook to be aired at 7 p.m. on the FOX Sports New York. The Bazaar Films production team, comprised of director Jarett Bellucci, producer Chris Penney, cinematographer Christopher Walters along with staff from the University, combined to develop a compelling spot by showcasing the campus and talents of Quiller. "I didn't want to create a typical college commercial," Bellucci said. "Instead, I chose to focus on the determination, passion and ability required to overcome life's obstacles outside the classroom walls." All three members of the BAZAAR team have worked in film, television and music video production in New York City and Los Angeles for the past 10 years. From music videos and commercials to documentaries and television production, their collective creative efforts have been featured on MTV, VH1, BET, E!, Comedy Central, CNN, Spike and FOX. The commercial will air both locally and nationally during televised America East NCAA basketball games. For more information about BAZAAR Films Inc., contact Jarett Bellucci at (917) 543-4881.

VCW brings you all the latest video contests from www.VidOpp****, the Video Contest Clearinghouse. We have over $28,000 in new contests this week, and over $1,048,000 in contests expiring this week (Gotta love that $1 million Doritos contest!). Our guest host this week is David Rorie. David graduated from Columbia College in Chicago in 1992 with a BA in film production. After free-lancing as a cinematographer for a year, and editing corporate video for Arthur Andersen, he landed a job in the telecine department of The Filmworkers Club (a high-end commercial post house and transfer facility). While there he opened Backlight Productions and concentrated on producing and directing several documentary films. After 10 years of cold Chicago winters, and working as a full-time editor, he decided to seek out the sun. David moved to Phoenix in 2004 and opened Pugi Films. You can see more of his work at *******www.pugifilms****/ and *******www.youtube****/user/directedbydavid. Distributed by Tubemogul.
