Ave Maria! Our 500th Post!! Deo Gratias!Peter Wolfgang, Executive Director of the Family Institute of Connecticut gives us an interview at the pro-family rally they sponsored at the CT State Capitol to send a message to the Ct Supreme Court to not suppress existing legislation in the court case Kerrigan et al v. the state Department of Public Health. If the supreme court decides in favor of the plaintiffs then all the recent legislative victories won in recent years to keep marriage defined as a union between a man and a woman will be negated. Listen to this interview from the front lines of the state level national battle to protect marriage and religious freedom. Ave Maria!

Ave Maria! [Update: The 2008 40-Days-for-Life Vigil starts Sept 24 in approximately 300 cities across America, praying outside of abortion clinics 24 hours a day for 40 days ending Nov 2, just prior to the presidential election. www.40daysforlife****]Friar Roderic caught up with Fr Angelo Gieger in front of the Abortion Clinic in Norwich, CT, on the night of the start of the 40 Days for Life campaign, which is now into Day 11.We here at AirMaria apologize for not getting this footage up sooner - we have been so busy preparing for the Videotaping and Live-Streaming of the Coredemption Conference in Indiana, preparing for several NCE-FM License Applications, and to top it all off, madly preparing for the Boot Camp at the friary starting on Oct 19th. Whew!!!Anyways, all these activities end during the same week in October (the 19th) and then our AirMaria crew will receive a manpower boost, with the addition of two Novices to the team, and we will have much more time to devote to keeping up with our postings. Ave Maria!
Ave Maria! Back in June at the Catholic Family Conference in Anaheim, CA we ran into Eva Muntean from Ignatius Press and she gave us an interview about the Walk for Life West Coast of which she is Co-chair. This is the San Francisco version of the Washington, DC March for Life, but is more interesting because San Francisco is a much more left-wing town and so the pro-abort counter protesters are far more numerous, vociferous and . . . obscene than in DC. Despite all this, the Pro-lifers keep their dignified calm and the numbers keep growing into the tens of thousands. In this video we included many clips from past Walks for Life. See if you can tell the difference between the pro-life protesters and the pro-abortion counter protesters along the side. (Even after we cut out all their obscene gestures it is still easy to tell.) The 2008 DC March for Life will be on Tuesday, Jan 22, the San Francisco Walk for Life was held just last Saturday, Jan 19. Ave Maria!
Ave Maria! We caught-up to Fr. Maximilian Dean in Carmel, IN at his last concert just prior to his entry into our new contemplative community in Tuscany, Italy near Florence last Fall. Father talks about his active ministry in music, producing Cornerstone videos and being Superior of Mt. St. Francis Hermitage. He then explains the importance of the contemplative life which our Lord calls the greater part and which has called him away from this activity into silence. Farewell, Father, and keep us in your prayers. Ave Maria!

Critics claim the former Bush advisor's book is an untruthful spin on his years in the White House.
Ave Maria! Our Roving Reporter and AirMaria Vlogmaster, Friar Roderic Mary, recently tracked down Fr. Don Calloway MIC, in Steubenville, Ohio. Father was kind enough to squeeze in two interviews for us in the short space of time he had to spare between two other meetings. This week's interview is about Fr. Don's conversion story (the short version that is!). Listen to this incredible story about how Mary works to bring about a major spiritual transformation. Ave Maria!
Ave Maria! This is our second interview with Fr. Don Calloway, MIC, which our Roving Reporter, Friar Roderic Mary, was able to shoot in Steubenville, Ohio, whilst on our recent AirMaria field trip.
