Boyfriend surprised his sobbing girlfriend with a puppy for her birthday. Tamara pooch passed away three years ago aged 14 and she struggled to come to terms with the loss. But recently the sociology student decided she was ready to have another dog and mentioned it to her boyfriend of two years. He told her it would be too expensive to get a blue-heeler cross border collie pup which was Tamara’s dream pet. However, behind the scenes, the kindhearted sales manager was scheming with Tamara’s mum. The thoughtful duo picked out a female puppy called Macky after seeing an ad online and planned to surprise Tamara with it on her 23rd birthday. The boyfriend collected Macky in the morning, telling Tamara he had to do some last-minute shopping to get her a present, and hid in the yard with it as he waited to pounce. Tamara's mother managed to get her outside by asking her to help bring some laundry in, and just as Tamara came to the door, the boyfriend sprung out with the surprise. She burst into tears and squealed, 'No, oh my God, are you real?' before taking the female pup in her arms, while her triumphant boyfriend muttered, 'Success!' The gift was a 100% success.

Occurred on September 27, 2017 / Berkeley, California, USA Actions Starts at 5:09 Info from Licensor: "I was driving Eastbound on the interstate when traffic came to a stop abruptly shortly after 9 AM. I waited several minutes, but then noticed other drivers exiting their vehicles. I got out of my car and walked ahead to see what was happening. Directly across from me I discovered a police standoff in progress where a disabled black SUV was being tailed by dozens of police vehicles. I saw snipers and other officers with rifles in camouflage and decided to start recording. A sudden barrage of bullets was surprised me and caused me to look away, so missed a lot of the action. However, I caught most of the events as the police unloaded roughly thirty rounds in response to what we all had thought was an unarmed suspect exiting the vehicle. I later saw other angles showing him exit the car and fire a shot from a small handgun, but we had no idea he was armed at the time. After they had clearly shot him to death and sent the dog out after him, they still yelled commands at his lifeless body. It was another ninety minutes or more before they let us drive past the scene and go home."

‘How Do You Know’ begs the question of knowing when to stop, give up and walk away. The track sets the scene of a heartbreak, but the sentiment behind the words apply to any area of our lives. From the outset, troubled, tumbling drum beats catapult the listener into an unsettled juxtaposition of torment; powerful and potent, yet somehow mapping out a confused inner struggle. ‘How Do You Know’ sets the tone and delivers the feeling before the crystalline vocals of Laura Bradley unfold expertly crafted lyrics which add the colour to the canvass of trouble sketched out boldly by the beat. Every now and again we have the unsettling experience that a question we’ve been asking has already been answered.  The decision looming on the horizon is already made; the fork in the road is illuminated with a bright red “go here” arrow.  And yet it feels like the tether to our mooring has come inexplicably undone.  We check our heart.... and what we find is that the drama is over, the extremes are missing, the pain has softened and we are beginning to breathe again.  The fallout might be emptiness, but in that emptiness we are left with the feeling that nothing is wrong.  And we know.  It is over.  It is time to pack up the emotional baggage and be done.  Move on.  In the absence of suffering comes the quiet answer to our question…

Purple Haze Vampire Video Song - Hexabaloo Productions story behind the scenes of the video and song: I went to a gig at the Boondocks Tavern in Seven Valleys, Hex County, Pennsylvania to see the band drummer James Swalinski was in. Can't think of the bands name now. This was around 96. I used to play in bands with James back in the day, in the 70's Strawbridge and Pyramid. He played drums on my very first recordings I did in the late 70's with the 80-8 one of the first consumer multitrack machines available. Back to the story. There was this girl dressed in complete black sitting at the bar drinking this really red dark bloody looking drink that looked like blood. I thought she looks very strange like a Vampire. I walked up to the bar where she was sitting and asked her, "what is that drink your drinking?" She said I'm drinking blood I need it. I laughed. She didn't. Ha. I wanted to make a Vampire movie at the time with the song Purple Haze by Hendrix. I called my version Purple Haze Vampire. I thought she would be perfect. I asked her if she wanted to be in my music video about the Vampire called "Purple Haze," with the song Purple Haze which I had gotten permission from Jamie Hendrix to release. I had to get permission from Jamie before I could release my version of the song even though ascap gave permission they said I still had to get her permission. She's very protective of Jimi's music. Sent her a tape then called her a few days later to see if she liked it and if she would allow me to release. She said it was the strangest weirdest version of the song she ever heard. She said yes, go ahead and release. When I called her I was so nervous to hear her decision. She said, "I like your version Lenny." It is very strange, but I like it. It felt so cool to get her permission. We then had a cool interesting conversation about her brother Jimi. I love Jimi's music. The Vampire girl I've since forgotten her name.
