http://www.netbooknews.com Display Taiwan had a few gems in it and this 2.4 inch transparent AMOLED multi-touch screen was one of them! The screen is targetted at GPS and before you say, why would I need a transparent GPS screen, think about having something like this on your windshield. Might need longer arms but the idea is still cool. The display could have had brighter colours but we were told that the screen would not have been as transparent. For functionality of the touch screen when looking at the pictures up and down actions are supported but in the drawing application anything goes. This 2.4 inch display is a prototype as they are also working on 4" and 7" displays. Putting something like this into your windshield interesting but the multi-touch capabilities seem a bit wasted. This was the only suggestion offered to us for use of such a screen. What do you guys think? What would you use a 2.4" transparent multi-touch AMOLED screen for?
