Shinobi centers on the drama resulting from the war between two ninja clans in the early part of the Tokugawa era. In the film, Nakama Yukie portrays Oboro, the granddaughter of Ogen (Lily), the respected Iga clan matriarch, while Odagiri Jo plays Gennosuke, the son of Danjo Koga (Minoru Terada), the powerful Koga clan leader. While living deep within the mountains, the two ninja clans have honed their skills to superhuman levels. Unfortunately, the clans do not get along and are forbidden by imperial decree from sharing their techniques with each other. Viewing the two ninja clans as a threat to his scheme for total domination, the nefarious Nankobo Tenkai (Ishibashi Renji) plots to intensify the rivalry between the two clans. Nakobo creates a contest in which the clans are forced to choose five of their best warriors to participate. The battle, however, isn't just a friendly contest - it's a duel to the death!

Shadow Dancer The Secret of Shinobi review. http://www.ClassicGameRoom.com Classic Game Room reviews SHADOW DANCER: THE SECRET OF SHINOBI for Sega Genesis from Sega released in 1990. Shadow Dancer takes place after The Revenge of Shinobi and is a much shorter and easier game with superior visuals and even better music. CGR Shadow Dancer video review has Shadow Dancer the Secret of Shinobi gameplay recorded from Sega Genesis (aka Sega Mega Drive). This is one Megadrive / Genesis game you should add to your collection because it's stylish, fun and has a dog that attacks bad guys to aid a ninja!!! What's more bad-ass than that??
Classic Game Room reviews NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: SHINOBI RUMBLE!! for Nintendo DS from Tomy and Atlus. Play as 16 characters from Naruto in this streamlined fighting game for fans of the Naruto series. Not too technical, not too much to memorize, Naruto Shippuden Shinobi Rumble is about button mashing and jumping around the screen kicking opponents. Pull of special moves easily by touching the lower screen during gameplay and control characters effectively with the d-pad and buttons. Naruto Shippuden Shinobi Rumble for Nintendo DS may not be a fighting game for die-hard fighting videogame fans, but for casual fighters into the Naruto series it is well done. This CGR review of Naruto Shippuden for Nintendo DS has Naruto Shippuden Shinobi Rumble gameplay filmed from Nintendo DS with Naruto Shippuden game play in HD.
Classic Game Room HD reviews SHINOBI for the Sega Master System video game console. This ninja action side scroller is the precurser to The Revenge of Shinobi and has slower gameplay and less enemies but retains that typical and familiar Shinobi charm. In part 1 we review the first couple levels and look at the layouts and music and gamplay of Shinobi. Only Classic Game Room can review Shinobi with the CGR eye to detail. Shinobi uses ninja magic and throws throwing stars in bonus stages, he fights the evil Zeed crime organization. Basically Shinobi is awesome and started out as an arcade game in 1987 from Sega. Shinobi is also available for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Commodore 64 and Atari ST computer. Classic Game Room brings you ninja sized retro video game reviews. Joe Musashi is bad-ass.
Part 2 of 2. Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of THE REVENGE OF SHINOBI for the Sega Genesis 16-bit video game system. The Sega Genesis game console (aka the Mega Drive Megadrive) is CHRHD's favorite gaming system, and it's no surprise that Revenge of Shinobi is one of our favorite games. This two parters looks at this amazing side scrolling action game and what sets it apart from the rest. What we need is more 2d two dimentional side scrollers on game systems like the Playstation 3 PS3 and Xbox 360 and Wii. Although some platformers and 2 D side scrollers have hit Xbox Live Arcade XBLA we want brand new ones that combine old school action with martial arts mayhem, great stories, fun gameplay and characters. In this video we talk about the different software versions and revisions of Shinobi, version 1.00, 1.01 and 1.02. This game is famous for its end bosses (end boss levels) with Spider Man, Batman and Godzilla. Spiderman was kept in all three versions, but Bat Man was removed in 1.01, and later Godzilla was also removed from version 1.02.
