*******www.instablogs****/ Pakistan given Mumbai evidence Until now Pakistan successfully evaded any action against the terror suspects operating form its soil on the pretext that India never shared the evidence with Pakistan. Now with the facts provided to them including "material from the interrogation of Mohammed Ajmal Amir Qasab" - the sole surviving gunman from the attacks, who is in Indian custody, Pakistani authorities must act immediately to dismantle the terrorist network. Pakistan must understand the terror groups operating from its soil pose a threat both to the international peace and security of the entire world and its own. Therefore instead of beating the war drums and rejecting the Indian accusations as mere speculation Pakistan must act fast to rein in terror groups. LTTE defeated Sri Lankans may rejoice their victory but this sense of elation will not last for very long. The government has already earned itself bad press by denying access to the media from war zone. The war has been marked by appalling human-rights abuses by both sides, including hundreds of disappearances and alleged murders of Tamil youths by government agents. The government has blocked aid agencies making efforts to bring relief. Sinhalese chauvinists have always bullied Tamils by denying them even the modest regional autonomy promised by the Sri Lankan constitution. The Tamils can never forget the atrocities perpetrated upon them by the Sri Lankans. Soon the Tamil resistance shall raise its head and achieve its dream of a Tamil homeland. Corruption in Afghanistan Afghanistan’s democratically elected government under President Hamid Karzai to large scale corruption and misuse of power. Any government services come with bribe locally known as `shrini’ which means sweetener bribe manifests in many forms from the lowest person right to the top officers of the government are the recipients of the bribe. President Karzai’s brother is also believed to be deeply involved in large scale corruption particularly heroin trade that goes unnoticed due to his blood relation with the top of the country. This corruption according to Afghans does not have a long history since the communist who ruled Afghanistan in the 1980’s and were honest than the Mujahedeen’s of 1990 and the present setup. Complaints of corruption in the small and large things could be heard in Kabul. Common citizens are fast losing their confidence in the government of President Hamid Karzai which obviously is very bad news for the President since he intends to run for the second consecutive term for the office of the President of Afghanistan in April this year. Worlds**** sues NC Soft MMO giant, NC soft, has been accused of infringing on patents put in place by Worlds**** believes that NC Soft’s products infringe on their “System and Method for Enabling Users to Interact in a Virtual Space” patent. Of all NC soft games the most notable ones guild wars, City of Heroes, City of Villains and tabula Rasa. In my opinion this is a bold move by a company that as just decided to come out of the wood work. I ask them one question. Why now, could it be agreed, no – I think it is something else, possibly to prove a point that these big companies can’t be challenged? A smart move on board for going after NC before even trying. With a win under the belt that will give them extra leverage when trying their luck against a multi billion dollar company, good luck. *******www.instablogs****/

Here's one for you Sri Lankan cricket fans: The CricInfo commentary for the Hobart Test on 16-20th November 2007 ended with "It was absolutely fabulicious knock from Sangakkara. A shame it had to end the way it did, but grab the dvd. There were some breathtaking shots, some improvised, some traditional and some out of this world. He moved outside leg, walked towards off, waltzed down the track and indulged himself in the middle." So I typed out some lyrics that reflected the innings and went to the tune of the OZ anthem "Waltzing Matilda". Sangakarra's innings not only had the beauty of a Waltz, but it was also a lone brave journey where he carried his team on his back - something which meets well with the Australian meaning of 'Waltzing' as per the song. I'm using the phrase "Waltz Sangakkara" to mean 'show some fight, courage, heart and determination despite a bleak outlook.' It's the best characteristic of test cricket and something I hope to see more from Sri Lanka. Perhaps singing this song at the ground will inspire them hah :-) Go on.. sing along! You know you want to! You're probably a better singer than I am, so post videos of your versions as responses! I'd love to hear a 'baila' version of this haha! Maybe you can translate it into Sinhalese or Tamil.. LYRICS:- Verse 1: Once upon a test match, that many said was long-a-gone Under the sun of a hostile Aussie A man sang as he watched and waited till the bowler bowled "Who'll come a-Waltz Sangakkara with me?" Verse 2: Down came Stuey Clark to send him back to the shed, Down waltzed sanga and smacked him with glee, And he sang as he watched that red ball sail across the fence "You'll come a-Waltz Sangakkara, with me". Chorus 1: Waltz Sangakkara, Waltz Sangakkara Don't stop ya-Waltz Sangakkara, today Who's that trundling in - just hit him for a six or four Don't stop ya-Waltz Sangakkara, today. Verse 3: Down across the wicket, things weren't going oh so well, Out went the batsmen, one, two, three, But Sanga stayed and fought back, while the team fell all around Who'll come a-Waltz Sangakkara, with him. Chorus 2: Waltz Sangakkara, Waltz Sangakkara Don't stop ya-Waltz Sangakkara, today All alone you might well be, but fight on till the day is done Don't stop ya-Waltz Sangakkara, today Verse 4: Up came a boucer and hit him on shoulder but, "You'll waltz no more" said the umpire Rudi And his cause may be lost but forever will this game be known Who'll come a-Waltz Sangakkara today? (Repeat Chorus 3) Stereo version available *******odeo****/audio/17630673/view
