I Love Lucy. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. I Love Lucy is an American television sitcom starring Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance and William Frawley. The black-and-white series originally ran from October 15, 1951 to May 6, 1957 on CBS. When the original series ended, the show continued on for three more seasons with 13 one-hour specials, running from 1957 to 1960, known first as The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show and later in reruns as The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. I Love Lucy was the most-watched show in the United States in four of its six seasons, and was the first to end its run at the top of the Nielsen ratings (an accomplishment later matched by The Andy Griffith Show and Seinfeld). From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet is an American sitcom, airing on ABC from October 3, 1952 to September 3, 1966, starring the real life Nelson family. After a long run on radio, the show was brought to television where it continued its success, running on both radio and TV for a couple of years. The series starred Ozzie Nelson and his wife, singer Harriet Nelson (née Hilliard), and their young sons, David Nelson and Eric Nelson, better known as Ricky. Don DeFore had a recurring role as the Nelsons' friendly neighbor "Thorny". The series attracted large audiences, and although it was never a top-ten hit, it became synonymous with the 1950s ideal American family life. It is the longest-running "live-action"/non-animated sitcom in US TV history. more : *******en.wikipedia****/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Ozzie_and_Harriet

BY JENNIFER LONG ANCHOR CHRISTINA HARTMAN He’s back and he says he’s ‘winning.’ KSWB explains why everyone’s talking about the man with tiger blood. “The former Two and a Half Men actor will be the star of a new sitcom called Anger Management. It’s been finalized now the show is based on the 2003 movie starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicolson. The cable network FX plans to air 10 episodes of that show and monitor it’s success before deciding whether to syndicate it and commit to it longer.” Sheen will play Nicolson’s therapist character – who may be in need of some anger management counseling himself. Sheen joked over the summer... “...while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept.” But others are saying, given Sheen’s track record; this is the perfect role for him. WGCL weighs in. “Isn’t it so appropriate for Charlie Sheen? He could use a little anger management I think. He’s still a great actor and I think he’s going to do well probably if he plays his own character on anger management.” The show has been in the works for a while and 3 networks made a bid for the show this summer. A.J Hammer from Showbiz tonight tells CNN-this move is a big one and it makes sense for FX. “This is a very big deal for Sheen though and his production company. They’re expecting the show to debut next summer. The move makes sense for the network. FX already owns the rights to the film and in fact it also airs reruns of sheen's old show “Two and a Half Men” and it's also known for other edgy shows. They have “Sons of Anarchy” and “Louie” that appeal to a male audience. My question, if the show is not going to debut until next summer, what will sheen do to stay relevant and in the headlines? I don't even really want to ponder that.” And that’s exactly what others are wondering. It's been less than a year since Sheen’s highly publicized firing from “Two and a Half Men.” Is Sheen just too big of a gamble? The LA Times says... “... the network is taking a giant leap into the unknown. Sheen's endlessly publicized drug problems and chaotic family life, not to mention quicksilver personality, led to his firing from "Men" earlier this year. And if the first 10 episodes of "Anger Management" do well, FX will be on the hook for 90 more” But others are saying don’t underestimate this project; Sheen could bring in a lot of cash for the cable network. The ScreenRant reminds us... “... other than garnering the wrong kind of attention, Sheen’s extracurricular activities technically never interfered with his work on “Two And A Half Men.” So, by that rationale, as long as FX is catering to Sheen fans ... “Anger Management” may provide the cable network with a lucrative double-dose of Charlie Sheen.” Filming for Anger Management will begin early next year and will premiere in the summer of 2012.
