Happy Monday everyone. We've got a lot of news for you today - there's our last of the CES rundowns with some very lackluster accessories, the latest dirt on the 3DS' batteries and launch titles thanks to Nintendo World, and a relative TON of new info on Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, thanks to Game Informer. Max also gets to talk about Jade and Goro from Mortal Kombat, so everyone's happy. In some sad news, Gearbox's Alien: Colonial Marines will NOT be seeing a release this year, thanks to Duke Nukem Forever.
Holy chainsaw guns, we've got a ton of news for you today! More details creeped out about Elder Scrolls Skyrim, including some promising news about NPC intelligence and wooly fucking mammoths, we finally got a date (March 25th in UK, March 27th in USA) and a price ($250) for the 3DS, AND Final Fantasy XIII-2 got officially announced and trailer'd. Furthermore, we figured out why Portal 2 on PS3 is the best version, shifted our rant-gammaray from CliffyB to David Cage, and laughed about Germany censoring Dead Space 2. Yes, there was a lot to talk about today folks, but not so much that we didn't get to bask in the glory of your voicemails (that number again is 775-55-DTOID). Also, we're doing a livestream on Monday! Let us know in the comments what games you want us to chat about.
Well, after a sexy dance with that pretty girl known as "LIVE", we're back to our regular format today, and not a moment too soon! We've got a brand new trailer for the new Black Ops DLC pack thats coming out Tuesday, as well as the details on a flamewar between noted industry douche Michael Pachter. Dead Space 2, which just got released yesterday, already has a set of DLC announced for it, entitled "SEVERED," the Kongregate gaming hub returns to the Android market, and Platnium Games announces their new game MAX ANARCHY. Plus, there's some new details on the Elder Scrolls V Skyrim combat system! Be a dear and comment the timecode so people can skip right to it! Otherwise we'd be disappointed.
Today marks our show's first big milestone - Episode 50!!! Thank you all so much for watching and commenting, and loving Max's nipples. We really appreciate it. To celebrate, we bought cake for everyone… in the form of video game news. Delicious, cakey, news. We've got the sad news about Hudson Entertainment closing their doors, the latest "dicktittery" from Fox News as Jim Sterling might say, and exclusive scooped hands on impressions of the 3DS! Plus we check in to Max Scoville, live from France, with the latest on Elder Scrolls Skyrim. Finally, Kevin Butler had an oops. Oh well. Thanks again, and cheers to the next 50!
A hero has come to face the fiercest threat to the world of Elder Scrolls in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Holy crap, what a ton of news we have today! OF COURSE, first and foremost is the ultra sexy Wii/PS3 Move game "WE DARE", which I hope you all have already seen. If not, don't worry - we've got the clips for you. There were also some less important videos that game out this week, including gameplay footage from little games called Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, and Battlefield 3. Finally, we've got two big previews in the way of Gunstringer for Kinect XBLA, and Batman: Arkham City. Next week: GDC! Stay tuned.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but in the case of these new Elder Scrolls Skyrim screenshots, it may be more accurate to say that the penisfinger is in the eye of the beholder. Not literally, of course. This gets discussed in today's episode, as well as some new info on Ninja Gaiden 3 and Max Payne 3, a Streets of Rage fan-made game, and special guest Jose Sanchez from the Electric Playground! He and Max sit around and talk about the games from Wondercon, while Tara basically twiddles her thumbs. Enjoy.
Doug Perry gives us his thoughts after he got a first look at the newest game in The Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim.
We've got the juicy rumor that Alice: Madness Returns will feature the original (and awesome) game for free, that Sonic Generations game gets confirmed, and Skyrim has a bunch of new screenshots.
LA Noire is out, and you might be playing it! Unless you ordered from Amazon, in which case your pre-order might have fallen victim to a malfunctioning UPS plane. In other news, Tara got her grubby mitts on Dead Island, Sony gets hacked again, and a Skyrim update! Spoiler: there's dragons.
GamePro editor Jason Wilson explains why The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is one of his most anticipated games of E3 2011.
Jim Sterling and Max Scoville from Destructoid got a chance to check out a half hour of STUNNING gameplay footage from Bethesda's upcoming Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and walked away with their minds blown.
E3 MVG 2011 - Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim interview
We talk with the production director of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim about level design, character classes, and lots of dragons.
