Strength & Conditioning Coach Mike Behnken, MS, CSCS If you have tight calves, flat feet, heel spurs or plantar fasciitis this could be part of the solution to your problem. Self massage or Self Myofascial release will help your muscles maintain the proper length-tension relationships. To make your corrective flexibility program more successful follow each foam roll set with the static stretch of the same muscle. The most important part of this technique is to relax your feet so your toes are not dorsiflexed or plantarflexed while you relax your calves on the roll. You can use a roll or a ball or whatever. You may feel anything from slight pressure to extreme pain which will subside after multiple applications.

Watch on YouTube: *******www.youtube****/watch?v=Y1oU3vDmJh0 I learned the original song in chorus, so this made it more exciting secretly singing this version instead. You probably don't know Sinnerman, but if you do, then it'll actually be funnier. I was gonna make a video of a popular song I'd parodied first, but this was a special request from my cousin. Lyrics: Oh, Cinnabon, where you going to run to? Oh, Cinnabon, you know I'm going to hunt you! Oh, Cinnabon, so that I can munch you! Get on that plate! Run to the stove, stove won't you hide me? Run to the oven, oven won't you hide me? Run to the microwave, microwave won't you hide me? Stay on that plate! Guy says Cinnabon, the stove you'll surely fry in! Guy says Cinnabon, the oven you'll surely roast in! Guy says Cinnabon, the microwave you'll be nuked in! You may as well stay on that plate! Run, run, run Cinnabon! Run, run, run as fast as you can! Run, run, run forever man! Just stay off that plate! Run to the Bad Dogs, Bad Dogs won't you hide me? ... Ahhh, never mind! Run to the Bad Cat, Bad Cat won't you hide me? ... Get away, not you either! Run to Big Texas, Big Texas won't you hide me?..................... It's way to late! (Munching noise) That's the story of Cinnabon, he was oh so tastey! Swirled with cinnamon, makes you eat it hasty! You're not the "winna mon," cause you are so crazy! On, on that plate!

Rolling with your MuscleRoll is one of the best, most effective, and most pleasurable ways to give yourself a soothing deep muscle massage. The patent pending 18-rib technology on your MuscleRoll allows you to have many points of contact on the muscle tissue and on the trigger points, which ultimately reduces pain and discomfort. Your MuscleRoll is made of a baby-soft material that exhibits a smooth surface and offers excellent flexibility and resilience. It is buoyant, strong, shock absorbent, flexible, and it is resistant to mildew, mold, rot, and bacteria; it also has a superior chemical resistance. Your MuscleRoll outperforms and outlives other foam rollers, and its unique rib technology, compared to other foam rollers, delivers a superior experience every time. The process involved when using your MuscleRoll is called Self Myofascial Release (SMR), which is a technique used to release tension and realign the body. (The word "myofascial" is derived from the Latin words myo, meaning "muscle," and fascia, meaning "band.") Fascia is tough connective tissue that spreads throughout the body in a three-dimensional web, from the head to the toes. Fascia surrounds every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ in the body. In its normal healthy state, the fascia is relaxed and able to move without restriction. When the human body engages in any type of activity, whether it's daily walking, standing, light exercise, or strenuous exercise, we generate slight micro-tears in our muscle tissue, tendons, and ligaments. Likewise, when we experience physical trauma, scarring, or inflammation, the fascia loses its flexibility; it becomes a tight, restricted source of tension to the rest of the body, and over time it has cumulative negative effects. Changes in the fascial system influence the body's comfort and functionality. The fascia can exert excessive pressure, producing pain or restriction of motion. As a result, scar tissue forms, our muscles become tight and knotted, and our bodies become stiff. Rolling with your MuscleRoll, however, breaks up scar tissue by softening, lengthening, and realigning the fascia. Freeing constrictions in the tissue alleviates pain and improves blood circulation, and, ultimately, balance is restored back to the body. Your MuscleRoll will assist you in breaking up the scar tissue that your body has formed and will help you feel more flexible, more limber, healthier, and happier.
