"The Adventures of Hungry Asmodeu" Album: The Fifth Pillar Of Conscience (2004) Asmodeu: Asmodai or Asmodeus is a demon mostly known from the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit. The demon is also mentioned in some Talmudic legends, for instance, in the story of the construction of the Temple of Solomon. Spelling variations deriving from Asmodai/Asmodeus include Ashmadia, Ashmedai (Hebrew), Asmodaios-Ασμοδαίος (Greek), Asmoday, Asmodée (French), Asmodee, Asmodei, Ashmodei, Ashmodai, Asmodeios, Asmodeo (Spanish and Italian, from a Latin declination), Asmodeu, Asmodeius, Asmodi, Chammaday, Chashmodai, Sidonay, Sydonai. The name Asmodai is believed to derive from Avestan language *aēšma-daēva, where aēšma means "wrath", and daēva signifies "demon". While the daēva Aēšma is thus Zoroastrianism's demon of wrath and is also well attested as such, the compound aēšma-daēva is not attested in scripture. It is nonetheless likely that such a form did exist, and that the Book of Tobit's "Asmodaios" (Ἀσμοδαῖος) and the Talmud's "Ashmedai" (אשמדאי) reflect it. Although there are also functional parallels between Zoroastrianism's Aēšma and Judaism's Asmodai/Asmodeus, the linguistic relationship does not denote conceptual continuity. The two are mythologically and culturally distinct. The Asmodeu of the Book of Tobit is attracted by Sarah, Raguel's daughter, and is not willing to let any husband possess her (Tobit, vi.13); hence he slays seven successive husbands on their wedding-nights, thus impeding the consummation of the sexual act. When the young Tobias is about to marry her, Asmodeus purposes the same fate for him; but Tobias is enabled, through the counsels of his attendant angel Raphael, to render him innocuous. By placing a fish's heart and liver on red-hot cinders, Tobias produces a smoky vapor which causes the demon to flee to Egypt, where Raphael binds him. Asmodeus would thus seem to be a demon characterized by carnal desire; but he is also described as an evil spirit in general: 'Ασμοδαίος τὸ πονηρὸν δαιμόνιον or τõ δαιμόνιον πονηρόν, and πνεῦμα ἀκάϑαρτον. It is possible, moreover, that the statement, "Asmodeus loved Sarah," implies that he was attracted not by women in general, but by Sarah only. W Dictionnaire Infernal Collina de Plancy jest przedstawiony z ciałem człowieka, kozimi nogami zakończonymi szponami, wężowym ogonem i trzema głowami - jedna człowieka zionącego ogniem, druga barana i trzecia byka. Jedzie na hybrydzie lwa ze smoczymi skrzydłami i szyją.] Cynthia Witthoft

"Cynthia Witthoft" Song: "Arachnophilia" Album: "Drunken Orgy In Hell - 2004" - It is a common belief that male spiders, which usually are significantly smaller than the females, are likely to be killed after or during mating, or sometimes even before mating can occur. Even in some species of widow spiders, which are named exactly for this belief, the male may live in the female's web for some time without being harmed. However, in over 60% of cases the female of one species, the Australian redback spider, kills and eats the male after it inserts its second palpus into the female genital opening Males that 'sacrifice' themselves gain the benefit of increasing their paternity relative to males who do not get cannibalized since they feed the female that will lay and tend the resulting fertilized eggs. In many other species, males are sometimes killed by females. In at least some of these cases it's likely that the males are simply mistaken as prey. The risk of this happening is greater if the female is hungry. To counter this, some male spiders offer a "bribe" to the female, in form of a fly or other prey, prior to the mating. Many spiders will attempt to protect themselves by biting, especially if they are unable to flee. Some tarantulas have a second kind of defense, a patch of urticating hairs, or urticating setae, on their abdomens, which is generally absent on modern spiders and Mesothelae. These ultra-fine hairs causes irritation and sometimes even allergic reactions in the attacker. Certain other species have specialized defense tactics. For example, the golden wheeling spider (Carparachne aureoflava) of the desert of Namibia escapes tarantula hawks (a species of wasp that lays its eggs in a paralyzed spider so the larvae have enough food when they hatch) by flipping onto its side and cartwheeling away. Spiders, especially larger sorts, are eaten routinely or as a delicacy in various parts of the world, including Cambodia, where fried spider is considered a delicacy, Thailand, the Solomon Islands, and parts of South America, where living wrapped tarantulas are also sometimes taken on trips by certain indigenous tribes.

The Holy Land Journey DVD. When you read about the cave at the end of Ephron's field, do you ever imagine what that actually looked like? Ever wonder if the field is still there? Do you envision the garden as you read Jesus' prayer? Or visualize the path thathe walked as he carried the cross? It is difficult to picture the surroundings inwhich Jesus and all of his biblicalpredecessors lived and preached, especially so if one has never seen the drastically different landscape, wildlife, and architecture of the Middle East. And while it's good for children to let their imaginations wander, adults reallyshould know just how and where suchimportant events took place. That is why The Bible Land Shop commissioned the creation of three separate, feature-length films that carry one through the stories of the Bible and the history of the Holy Land. In "Holy Land Journey" our guides begin from the very beginning of the Bible: follow in the footsteps of the Children of Israel, travel to all of the locations where Jesus sojourned and preached, to the sites of his arrest, crucifixion, and burial, through the Roman, Crusader, Turkish, and British occupations, right up into modern Israeli life. Educational and inspirational narration tells the stories of each holy place in the words of the Bible along the way, transforming what might have once seemed like distant and ancient episodes into very real, very modern lessons for the present. It is a good thing to have read the Bible. But it is a hard book to know unless one has been to its home, has seen what it witnesses. "Holy Land Journey" turns the printed text into a living one so that you can not only now imagine it, but actually experience it. Experience. . . • The journey of the Children of Israel: the desert dwellings of the Patriarchs and the modern Bedouin, Sodom and Gomorrha on the Dead Sea, Mt. Moriah, the burial cave of Machpelah, Rachel's burial site, Joseph's tomb at Nablus, the path of Moses, the Jordan River at the crossing into the Promised Land, Deborah at the Valley of Jezriel, Mt. Tabor of the Canaanites, Sampson and Delilah's Ashkelon, David and Goliath's Valley of Elah, the Tower and the City of David, King Solomon's Jaffa Port and Eilat, King Ahab's Megiddo, and King Herod's Temple and castles; • The life of Jesus: Nazareth (Zebulun) and its modern carpenters, Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity, the Temple steps ascended by Joseph and Mary, John the Baptizer's Ein Kerem and its many churches, the Mountain of Temptation overlooking Jericho, the site of the wedding at Cana, the pools of Bethesda and the church of St. Anne, Bethany near Jerusalem, the modern day Good Friday and Easter processions through the gates of the Old City, the Mount of Olives, the money-changers' courtyard at the Temple, the rarely seen interior of the Dome of the Rock mosque, Samaria's well and nearby church, the fishing village of Capernaum, the planes of Megiddo, Mt. Radacinile sarbatorii se pierd in negura timpurilor. Abia dupa 1918 li s-a permis revenirea in Schei a Brasovechenilor. "Adevarat c-a inviat!" . In dimineata sarbatorii, junii vor cobori calare in Piata Unirii, unde vor inconjura Troita Capitanului Ilie Birt si vor canta "Hristos a inviat!", fiecare grup in parte. Alaiul Junilor coboara pana in fata Primariei si a Prefecturii Brasov, apoi urca spre Pietrele lui Solomon ("Intre Chetri"), unde fiecare grup isi are masa sa.
